Lets be honest you are not gonna go here for the food. The beer is really lit. Love this place! Came here with bunch of friends and its a great place to relax and have some beer. They have their own beer you can drink. We casually order roasted chicken from time to time and its delicious. Overall very friendly staff, and chilled atmosphere to hang out with friends

Nice location around Bole area. Recommended to hangout with group of friends. It might be crowded during weekends, better to go in early hours. They have nice beers (white and black) which they are preparing it inhouse. The grilled chicken is tasty. Service needs improvement, late response by the servers and they are not following up their guests. Smoking is allowed at the outside place area. Better not to sit there if you are not a smoker.

It is fresh brewed beer mainly called German beer Which has two types of beers while and brown beer with jumbo glass and test tube powered type up 5litres for a group friends. Main dish is roasted chocked very famous in town in western dish. People enjoy at weekends with fully packed service. Price is a bit high but the quality is worth it.

Good everything for sleepover on shift flight. I been surprised by size of room, hot water and acceptable lunch and dinner. Nice bed, quite place.

The most trash hotel I ever had the displeasure to attend and I blame it all on Ethiopian airlines for giving me this terrible hotel for a 10 hr layover they extended from the 4 hrs we booked. Almost No lights in the hotel or airport. Airport security check was done outside at night and in the cold just to find out we will have a 2nd security check after the first. Hotel food was terrible, rooms was terrible, dusty and no lights, and the area looks like a war zone. If you like yourself, never ever come to this hotel, and if you love yourself, never ever fly with Ethiopian airlines.

Extremely poor standard. The basic toiletries in the room are not provided. No disposable slippers in room.The front desk doesn't answer calls, the kitchen guys are slow and show attitude. They have kept very less staff to cut down on cost.Stay away from here please.

We didn't stay in the hotel, we came to eat in the restaurant and as Germans we wanted to try the German offerings. The beef roulades and bratwursts were great! A little bit of home in Addis. Service was perfect. Even though it was busy, we were served quickly. Don't forget to reserve in advance to get a good spot.

I visited the place because I heard the beer and chicken were delicious, and I wasn't disappointed. The chicken was really tender and crispy. The prices were reasonable too, so I definitely plan to come back the next time I'm in Addis.

Located in the popular Bole area this place is mainly known for its freshly brewed beer. They have two varieties of beers: blonde and dark, and some mix the two. They also serve good food. The rooms are clean and the bed was comfy. Enjoy!

Plz don't accept this hotel ... It's so remote and the facilities are at its worst ... if zero stars will be there.. I'll give it... They don't ever care about the transit guests ..

Cannot comment about the rooms but the German restaurant is surprisingly authentic :-)

Excellent Service The Staff there is Phenomenal, right there from the Receptionist Ms. Mariamawit to their GM Ms. Addisitu very very helpful. They went out of their way when Expedia blundered with my confirmation and was not willing to assist.

Ebony and Blondy are both very punchy beers and good to have with some spicy foods. The place is good enough for a date. Recommend visiting.

Hotel had no hot water the night we arrived and the next morning. And when we told the very rude receptionist on duty at 6.00am on 31st October. she just said yes it's that way no apology. She didnt even greet us. UuShe was rude and abrupt through our papers around. She was rude to the other guests checking out . Food was average. Overall room was very basic. Will never return. Sub standard hotel. The guest on the shuttle.bus was also.discussing the poor standard and behavior of that pathetic staff member.

The beer is great obviously, but I'm not gonna talk about that. I want to shade the lights on one of their underrated menu, the roasted chicken. It simply is exquisite. I haven't tested a better chicken anywhere in Addis Ababa. The beer also really compliments the chicken. I highly recommend you try it with the white beer👌. One full chicken would be more than enough for two people.

We stayed there for a couple of drinks only. The beer is home brewed and very good. We had some blond frech beer. Prices are very correct and service is excellent. There s a main area inside and an covered area outside. The interior looks a little bit old but reminds us the typical geran brewery of Munchen. The food looked good.

My flight got moved to the next day to Mombasa. So Ethiopian Airlines put me in this hotel. It was pretty decent compared to where they are at. I didn't have a complaint. I just wasn't happy with having to stay there. But I don't want to put on bad juju on this place. It was pretty well organized. I got lost once or twice in the place. Lol luckily some staff members helped me get turned around. If your an American and needing an extension for the outlet to charge your phone, they have one. It looks odd. But trust assure that your two prong outlet will work in it. Other than that... they did good. HAVING to stay there and driving through the city, I appreciated what I do have in the states. Thank you Beer Garden for being hospitable whole nights/morning stay.

Not a great experience here. I could hear the sound of the TV from the room beside mine, there is no sound proof barrier. For what it's worth, the attendants were pleasant

Wow you really enjoy with chicken and Fresh Beer at a cute place with family, friends, and any one. Cool place in Bole!.

When you crave for the local and draft beer, this is exactly the place which can satisfy your desire. You can choose from blondie and brownie for the locally brewed beer and the brewing is just done inside the bar! Served with amazingly cooked German foods. Very satisfying.

Waited 30 plus minutes to get a my beer refilled. Food had zero seasoning. Beef was extremely tough and mashed potato had zero taste

Funny place which tries to imitate a German Biergarten. Good is decent, Beer tastes good, albeit not really typical German. Prices not really cheap.

Staff very friendly especially the restaurants ones the place is clean, the beds was not comfortable to my liking they can do better oh the other good thing is they try to communicate with you in English foreigner so that was really cool the food was okay all in all there's room for improvements.

Airline put me here due to missed connection... staff were great BUT I ended up leaving and paying for my own. Roaches in my room crawling all over the desk. Its was mid day. Couldnt imagine at night. Food was terrible. How do you mess up rice?
