I was looking forward to this place from what I heard of, but it didn't seem as I hoped it would be. There was a fair collection of souvenirs, but not a whole a lot. There were some handmade workers who were working in different sections you can look at. It was interesting. But overall the place looks down and low energy, maybe at the time I came they were busy or tired. I don't know. I was the only person there. I think the place needs renovation a bit, life, but overall good place. Prices are high.

A nice collection of Textile products in the heart of Bole, Addis Ababa. Prices are higher than Sabhara. And the number of products are less.

Highly recommend for buying great memories of your visit to Ethiopia - all hand made by local artisans, from hand woven scarves and blankets to baskets and jewelry. Salem and her team are on-site making the items before your very eyes. It is worth a visit - and can be tricky to find, but stick with it!

Great selection of jewelry, cards, baskets, and cotton goods! They also had a small collection of leather and paintings. The only thing I was looking for, but they didn’t have, was a small basket with a lid. Highly recommend for gift shopping!

Always stop here for souvenirs on my trips to Ethiopia. The prices are higher than you find at other gift shops but the quality is there to match. Many times when you come you can also see the craftspeople there making the various fabrics/items that they sell in the store. I always appreciate being able to take a photograph to show people back home how the items were made. I also like that you can use a credit card here! All in all, would recommend if you're looking for some high quality, beautiful fabrics!

The souvenirs here are so legit and very affordable. You get a chance to see the ladies weaving the fabrics. Its 10min walk from the airport.

Quaint little place for traditional Ethiopian handicraft. It's my go to place for Ethiopian shawls that are very popular with my friends and family.

It's good to buy memories here as the quality is high and, most of all, the spirit of equal trade and respect of local workers is their core mission. It's of course little expensive, more then other option. But let's have a visit.

We are very fortunate to have walked in this shop on the last day of our stay in Ethiopia. The owners of the shop, Abraham and Salem are a warm hearted couple. I brought two poncho tops for my family. Beautiful design, good craftsmanship.

Absolutely beautiful! The best textiles in Addis, so beautiful and made in a Womens cooperative. I’ve been every time I’m in town and have so many special pieces (blankets, tapestries, shawls, scarves, and mats). Today we were lucky and got to meet Salem!!

I went to this market with the friend I was travelling with. We enjoyed the experience and the fact that we when buying we were keeping the proceeds local. We saw cloth being woven, the people employed there were very pleasant and seeing their finished products, very talented. It was a small thing but a lasting touch that our goods when purchased were out in a linen bag which can, of course be used over and over keeping a lasting memory alive. I have a friend going to Ethiopia soon and have advised her to make time to see this market, I'm sure she'll love it.
