Amazing coffee 🥰 They have great breakfast choice. Place is nicely designed. It’s new and well organized. You should try the Kolo with Chiko . Their price is pretty fair.

I went three times to their branch which is located at Bole, next to Golden Tulip Hotel. I have tested their tuna sandwich, egg sandwich, fasting yederkosh firfir and macchiato. Both are tasty and have fair prices. The other prices like beyayenetu are expensive. On both of my visits, I have experienced the worst service ever. Most of the time, the place is so crowded. But, even if there were only few guests when we were there, the orders took more than an hour, the waiters & waitress are not responsive and not fast. They are giving the poorest service ever which might make you very angry. The staffs should be trained on guest service handling. The owners/managements should take a proper actions.

The design of the house is good only the art on the wall. Caffelatte and macchiato☕☕ have no taste☹. In fact, as far as I can tell, they don't even have real milk or coffee. I left the cafe latte I ordered without drinking it.🙁🙄The smile of the waiters is nice😃.

Good food. Fair price. The service is also good. I came for lunch and it's a packed house. Better to arrive a little early. I witnessed people coming late having a hard time finding a table.

This place is managed poorly. We used to come here frequently. Their food takes a while in a regular basis but this time it took more than an hour. I went to ask what has happened and the manager (Tigist) is not even there. Nobody apologized 🤦‍♀️ We ordered latte and food. Not even the latte was served ; even though we asked to have it prior to the food. Why would you run a 24/7restaurant like that ? I hope they work on their issues and not lose more costumers.

I have been @Akkoo twice to taste their beyaynetu (በያይነት) but i found it as not expected in comparison with the setted price. I am a good food taster and i know many restaurants with an amazing fasting food with an affordable price like (Tsige shiro) ፅጌ ሽሮ with almost half a price. But I really appreciate Akkoo for the beautiful setting, their kind hostess and very clean dinning hall!! Better to improve the food taste than spending much time on promotion !! cheers your customer

AKKOO restaurant offers delicious food at a fair price, and the live band creates an amazing atmosphere for diners. The restaurant is notable for its clean and well-maintained restrooms, which adds to the overall positive dining experience. In addition, the outdoor seating area is a unique and cool feature of the restaurant. If you're looking for a great dining spot with good food, great entertainment, and a unique ambiance, AKKOO is definitely worth checking out!

Probably the best Ethiopian tibs I tasted in Ethiopia. This place is a must and doesn’t have the trappings of a tourist trap. No Ethiopian dancing. Just good food. Wow it’s morning and I want to go back. BTW the coffee is also GREAT

I was there to fulfill my craving of Genfo (An Ethiopian food), I was really satisfied with the service I got and also the food was yummy 🤤🤤🤤 The one thing that could be better is the price, it is a bit expensive.

Food tastes great, one of the best! Service can be improved, I would recommend the waiters to be more attentive. The network is not accessible sometimes.

This is a good place for lunch or just a coffee. The main room is light, cool and airy. Service is friendly and attentive - but beware that lunchtimes are busy and the service slows down a bit. We enjoyed our lamb and they were happy to substitute injera for bread.

First of all the staff is very disrespectful and they actually don’t work 24 hrs only up to 7:00 midnight. The food is too expensive and not worth the price. It was overall a very disappointing experience!

    * Work 24/7 * no alcohol served * You will be served like family * Fair price * Best place for tourists to see all Ethiopia food in one place. * you can even order ''genfo'' & ''anchote''. The only place.

Bad management! It's a waste of time ordering takeout. They will accept your order on the phone, and then they will make you wait longtime despite calling a head. Also, the package is bad. The food become testless when they put it in the container, and it gets very mixed up.

I was in Agerbeth for 7 months, Akko was my place to dine, everyone’s choices are there. Service and test and qualities of food, watching videos on different corners showing owners integrity.

Nice and clean place. The tshom beyeaynetu (ፆም በየአይነቱ). The twin beyaynetu was yummy. The fisig beyeaynetu is test-less only the shiro wet has test. Went back for launch again before I left addis abeba and ordered 2 doro wet paid around 7100 birr. One of the staff member told me the doro wet is freshly made and will be packed in 4 separate bags and put in a freezer over night so will be ready for travel. However, when we get it and come home we opened it the bag was 3 pieces and wasn’t frozen. The doro wet wasn’t fresh at all the KULET was made before and they put the chicken when we put ordere So the chicken meat tests like an cleaned chicken it was disgusting!!! it was obvious that the kulet and the chicken wasn’t put together to simmer. So we throw it out all.

My Experience in AKKOO COFFEE is unforgettable due to three reasons . One is the Excellent service, taste and Quantity of breakfast. I ordered Tuna Sandwich and Milk with Coffee. The other I am very much Inspired by the Social Responsibility the restaurant is perorming which I saw it in the restaurant's TV. The third is the location where the restaurant is.Infront of DELACHINE Statue. It emotionally reminds me the sacrifice of my Father for the Great Victory of KARAMARA. Thank You! AKKOO COFFEE!

2nd worst service after Feresula Coffee. We were in there for like 30 min, asked four different waiters for a menu, but still nothing. One of those waiters even had the guts to come back to our table twice to pickup sugar and salt for another table, WITHOUT bringing us a menu. We got frustrated and left. Nice spot but absolutely terrible service.

Love how traditional and DELICIOUS their food is. Their interior is well-made as well, a very good environment. Although very busy, it still is a place worth visiting.

  • 4/5 Haimanotwua 2 years ago on Google
A place where cuisines usually cooked only at home made it to an elegant restaurant. Try their vegan combo (Beyaynetu) for lunch and Chechbsa for breakfast. A little bit crowded during dining hours and I hope that will be improved with reservations or by opening more branches. Coffee: 9/10 Food: 9.5/10 😂 Staff : 8/10

Akkoo is one of the best places to eat Ethiopian food for the following reasons: - Some of the tastiest food to be served in a restaurant setting, food portions are quite large as well - Despite it being extremely busy at lunch time the sevice is commendable, with friendly gracious staff - Their coffee/ machiato is wonderful - Finally, the space is designed tastefully, creating a welcoming ambiance

If your around piassa you should definitely check out this place they have a great selection of Ethiopian food including genfo but the service is inconsistent and it could be very slow it takes a while to even get your bill plus there isn't a parking space

We had Tibs and Kitfo and were created by the kindest man I’ve ever met in Addis. Such a genuine kind hearted person who served us with a smile from ear to ear. He made us feel appreciated and we came back a second time just to meet with him again. I feel sorry for not knowing his name but I hope our tips showed the gratitude. A lot of locals can learn a thing or two from this man.

👍👍 a must place to go for coffee lovers when in Ethiopia. they have drinking menu and roasted bean for take away.
