the
Ekiti

Government.

from
Fajuyi
Memorial
Park

commissioned
as
part
of
activities
marking
the
fourth
anniversary
of
the
Dr
Kayode
Fayemi
administration
on
Wednesday,
October
1,
2014
with
the
official
commissioning
of
the
12,000
seater
Β Ekiti
Parapo
Square
in
Ado-Ekiti.The
square
which
is
one
of
the
legacy
projects
of
the
Fayemi
administration
would
be
commissioned
by
former
Head
of
State,
General
Mohammod
Buhari,
supported
by
other
eminent
Nigerians.
According
to
a
statement
by
the
media
committee
of
the
fourth
anniversary,
the
2014
edition
of
the
State
Merit
Award
would
hold
at
the
arena
shortly
after
the
commissioning.
The
Ekiti
Parapo
pavilion
has
been
host
to
different
political,
religious
and
social
activities
in
the
state,
where
political
parties
host
their
campaign
rallies,
churches
hold
their
crusade,
different
groups
hold
their
gathering,
Government
hold
different
events.
The
pavilion
is
very
spacious
and
very
neat
and
secured.
As
it
is
very
close
to
the
Central
Bank
of
Nigeria
Ekiti
State
Branch
and
the
Department
of
State
Security
(DSS)
Ekiti
State
Command.
The
Ekiti
State
Parapo
pavilion
host
different
business
on
the
facility,
ranging
from
food
restaurants
and
gym
centres.
The
National
Youth
Service
Corps
(NYSC)
also
use
the
facility
for
hosting
their
parade
and
Community
Development
Services
(CDS)
meetings,
also
the
armed
forces
also
use
the
facility
for
trainings
and
screening
of
their
applicants.
Ekiti
State
Parapo
pavilion

beautiful
site
to
behold
and
a
social
and
commercial
centre
to
the
State
