Finally a great hot scrambled egg with cream cheese and sweet Chilli sauce! Best breakfast in Aix. Else very hard to find a good egg breakfast. Small yogurt bowl also v good. Will be back tomorrow.

We were looking for a place to have breakfast in Aix-en-Provence and luckily we found this place! Their scrambled eggs on sourdough with pull pork and bacon were just awesome! Will come back again tomorrow 😊

We were happy to find a restaurant open in Aix on Sunday. Katya and her husband Remi were incredibly kind and attentive. The food was marvelous. We had a classic which included warm and cold beverages, eggs on toast with 2 sides AND a small dish for dessert. The brownie was exquisite!!!! We enjoyed our experience so much, we returned for an even better meal on Monday. I would highly recommend this delightful spot for anyone visiting Aix-en-Provence.

The space (with A/C, clean, well lightened), the selection of food and drink, the taste of coffee, and the price ($5 for a Latte - just average for Vieille Ville de l'Aix) were all fine. I could work there alone with WiFi without issues. However, the staff was not friendly, was not very attentive, and sometimes showed exhausted expressions in public (e.g. sighed when they cleaned other tables) which was not fun to see

I was just strolling down the street (rue Boulegon), was a little hungry and saw this cut entrance. I am a easy for breakfast restaurants and thought I'd give this one a try...with zero expectations. Wow! I was really pleased with the result. It's a tiny place...20 seats tops with a single hostess taking care of the ordering, coffees, teas and such but with a wonderful and happy disposition. I elected for the Eggs Factor as a full on American style breakfast and I wasn't disappointed. A large and very tasty plate...everything was delicious. Strongly recommend for a great breakfast, brunch or lunch. Enjoy!

Best brunch in Aix, maybe the best in France. Reasonable prices and fantastic flavors. Great filtered coffee for this American.

KAVA is my favourite place to go for coffee, brunch, a chat, a calming atmosphere- it really has it all! The food is presented stunningly and it really tastes as good as it looks. I highly recommend the pancakes but I also absolutely love the Eggs factor and that you can personalise the plate with side orders. The owners are super accommodating and kind and will make you feel welcome and comfortable. Definitely a place you must visit if you’re in Aix ❤️

Aix is a stunning city and this gem fits perfectly into its relaxed and unique character. From arriving at the restaurant we were greeted with warm smiles and a friendly atmosphere. The brunch special offered exactly what we needed after a day of travelling. The Eggs factor with pulled pork and mushrooms was perfect. The pulled pork being a particular highlight. Although this may sound like a bold statement, the brownie was honestly the best brownie I think I’ve ever tasted and would be a real shame to miss out on. The summer soda couldn’t be faulted and I would highly recommend it if you’re looking for a refreshing drink on a hot day in summer. All in all, I would give this place 10 stars if it was possible.

Cute little lunch place! I initially thought when I saw the Eggs Factor dish I would find the scrambled eggs too runny, but it was actually delicious this way. You can choose your own toppings. There are quite a few motorcycles riding through the street which can be a bit disturbing, but overall really cozy. I drank a cappuccino with oat milk which was good!

Quaint breakfast/brunch place with friendly staff and killer food. Staff spoke English, and they were more than happy talking through the menu and answering questions. We split a classic breakfast combo, and each dish or drink was a balance of interesting flavor and artful plating.

The best coffee in the South of France! We are so happy Kava has opened in Aix as their oat milk latte is amazing and their oat Chai latte is also a rival of lattes I have had in India. Even better, they have a few vegan friendly items on their menu. We will be going back and back and back 😊

So happy to have discovered this place that we were back the next morning at 9.30am on the dot to enjoy breakfast again :) Thank you to the kind owners for the delicious coffee (fantastic flat whites and long blacks) and breakfast - will be craving the chilli jam and eggs for the rest of our trip! It was an absolute treat to visit here.

Hands down the best eggs I’ve tasted, and they are very thoughtful in their menu planning to make the best plate possible. Like others have said, their menu highlights flavors by elevating “traditional” dishes that I promise will be hard to go back to the “old” versions. Aix has something special here, and I will be going back asap. Sadly I ate everything before taking photos, but trust me the presentation is mouthwatering.

Kava is hands down the best brunch I've had in years! 😍 I got the classic formule, which included a hot drink (high quality latte), a cold drink (detox lemon-ginger juice), a large and a small plate. For the large plate, I tried the Eggs Factor with seasonal veggies and bacon. The scrambled eggs were a dream, fluffy and creamy at the same time. Every element on the plate was excellently prepared and came together perfectly! No crumb was left behind. I ended with the Petit Granola, which was the perfect blend of fresh fruit, yogurt lightly sweetened with maple syrup, and crunchy granola. Many products are sourced locally, the interior is charmingly decorated, and the staff is impeccably friendly. A must visit for lunch, brunch or a coffee!

Delicious brunch in Aix! Came back a few times during my little visit to Aix-en-Provence. From the couple of dishes I tried, each use a really fun blend of flavors! The coffee is high quality, specialty coffee..seriously best latte in Aix. Also chili jam that is in the cheese toastie is INSANE. They need to bottle this. I would buy it in a second and stock up. Looking forward to coming back whenever I’m back in this part of France.
