This was the only food place my friend who lives in Aix recommended. It was the best pita I’ve had in a while, and the beer was ice cold! Reasonably priced and the staff is so friendly as well. It’s definitely a must if you’re in Aix and make sure you ask for the spicy sauce if you like a bit of heat

Delicious meal in Aix en Provance. We had the best falafel while visiting this lovely town. Bumped on Tita’s thanks to it good reviews and were not disappointed at all. Tasty food in a great environment. The owner was very welcoming and the staff was friendly and efficient. Would definitely go back if I am ever lucky to return to town

Excellent Isreal/middle eastern restaurant with great meal options. They gave meals for vegetarians and non vegetarians alike, the prices are friendly and the service is great. I love the small outdoor spot that they have, it is a really nice place to eat. The servers are also great and friendly. They are also good with English language so nice for tourist.

A few gluten free plat options (falafel and shawarma). I had the falafel without the pita and roasted cauliflower which was amazing! We sat in their outdoor area and the whole experience was wonderful.

Amazing food would highly recommend the sharing platter which is delicious and you get to try so many different things. We struggled to get through it there was so much. A large amount of vegetarian options and very accommodating for other dietary requirements, couldn’t speak highly enough of this restaurant with nice staff. The homemade lemonade is also a must try.

The best falafel I’ve ever had in my life!!! This place is a must-try! The falafels are soft and light, the hummus is insanely creamy and delicious, all the mezzes are amazing. You have to try the desserts too (especially the malabi). The staff is super friendly too. We rarely go to restaurants twice but we went everyday for the time we were in aix.

First time eating out in Aix en Provence and we nailed it! We were attracted by the excellent reviews and haven't been disappointed: the staff is really kind and caring, the food 'mezze' arrived in a short time and in great abundance. The quality of the food is amazing, one of the best Lebanese food we ever had. The falafel were amazing. Since it was Saturday night, there will be a selection of some plates to share, you can choose the vegetarian option or not. Highly recommended!!

Cuisine exquise, qualité excellent et service très sympathique. In just a single year I’ve eaten there at least 4 times. So worth it, just make sure of making a reservation in advance since is always full. The home made lemonade is fantastic !!

Excellent tasty food. I never thought felafel and hummus could taste so good. No wonder this restaurant was packed creating a really wonderful, relaxed atmosphere.

Our food tasted so good that my husband was willing to drive an hour to go back to this place. Everything tasted great, from falafel, kofte to the aubergine. The espresso was the smoothest one we have had in France.

Beyond delicious! Popped in for a quick bite and blown away by this beautiful restaurant serving the most delicious Mezze, right in the heart of Aix. The roasted pita stuffed with spicy ground beef (Araïs) was our favourite dish but really everything we tried was exceptional. The staff were so attentive and welcoming, and even surprised us with a song and dance when they heard it was our daughter’s birthday. I don’t do reviews but fantastic food, excellent staff, lovely relaxed atmosphere, have to recommend to all.

Delicious meal and very courteous staff. The platters come with a good variety of sides and are very filling. The pita is unlike most others - very fluffy and light. The outdoor seating through the back of the restaurant is very pleasant. Highly recommended - not every meal in France has to be French food!

The mezze platter was *chef’s kiss*. We were unable to finish it, and took most of the dips to go in individual containers - perfect for our picnic in the Calanques the next day. We ordered 1 beef Kafta and 1 vegetarian option (6 falafels) between two people. However, I would have preferred a little more protein.

Wow is this food good!! Every single bite was incredible. The pita is warm and fluffy, the chicken and kefta are delicious, every side and salad is incredible. You can’t go wrong on this menu. The staff is very friendly and the space is bright and cheery. The people next to us even told us to put our pita on their table when we ran out of space and gave us their extra hot sauce :)

We stopped here on our way to Nice and it was worth it. The service , food , ambience was fantastic. One of the best meals. Highly recommend checking it out if in the area.

Best Falafel I have ever eaten. Great staff, nice atmosphere and fabulous homemade food!!! We will come back!

One of the best, if not best hummus I have ever eaten. The guy who served us was extremely kind and helpful plus if you like indie music this place is for you because they play that kind of songs! Everyone should try it if you visit Aix, but for your good, reserve a table!

Great little lunch spot in Aix. Dana, the owner, is friendly and on it!- we made a reservation and she responded (in English) in a few minutes- plus she helped with the menu. The Food is excellent and the restaurant fills up. She serves that warm, thick, pillowy pita (imported from Israel) with creamy (not runny) hummus and falafel. Portions are large and filling. Be sure to make a reservation.

We were so fortunate to be there on a Saturday when they offer their Mezze that allowed us to try so many of their wonderful dishes, along with a great Israeli red wine. It was simply delicious in a warm and friendly atmosphere!

A MUST if you come to Aix. We ordered a sharing plate for 2 people and we were 4. It was enough for the 4 of us. We only ordered 2 more pitas to adjust. The staff was so nice and so friendly. They even talked to us in spanish when they realised we were spanish speakers. 100% recommended!

Excellent across the board - the Big Tita platter was the particular highlight of our meal, with a little bit of everything, all of it delicious. Stop in for lunch, you wont regret it!

My favorite place in Aix for lunch. I love the food here. It’s fresh and tasty. Price is reasonable to the quality and quantity. Staffs were attentive and friendly. The take away is really fast and to eat in is convenient. Clean toilet also, this is very important!

Absolutely gorgeous Lebanese food. Never tried before but it is easily a top 2 country cuisine on my list. A must-go if you're ever in Aix-en-Provence. Not that expensive either, and try to go on Saturdays!!! You'll see why.

Best Falafel I’ve ever had! The waitress was super helpful and spoke perfect English. I highly recommend Tita!

Went here with my boyfriend and we had a really nice time trying the food. Really fun concept (the night we went there you could only choose if you wanted a vegetarian or a meaty meal, we chose meaty and then we got a meal to share.) different flavours than what I’m used to but very interesting!

We were there on a saturday evening, as far as we understood, on saturdays they always serve "formules" for dinner. It's basically lots of different absolutely delicious food (vegetables, sauces etc) and pita bread as a side. There were just a few things, which could be improved. Firstly we booked a table and they asked "outside or inside?" and we booked a table for outside. When we arrived (on time), they gave us a table inside and said it's fully booked outside... We then also waited a little long for someone to take our order, while others arriving after us were ordering already. It would also be great to just have a little note on the table, describing the formules, so you know what to expect. The last thing is that we pretty much didn't see a single table finishing the food, because it's a lot! Of course you can take it with you, but a lot also ends up in the trash... so we think it would be great to have a little smaller portions😅 But once again, we have to give five stars. The food was an absolute dream😅

What a gem. We stumbled upon this place while traveling to Aix. Honestly it was my favorite restaurant during my entire vacation to southern France. The falafel and hummus were incredible. Highly recommended.

I love the food here. We come often but most of the time take away. The staffs are always welcome and friendly. Delicious food. But this time I think the aubergine was way too salty.

Great falafels, houmous & chicken. Call ahead or pass by to reserve your table as soon as you know when you're going to eat. It's busy. But there's the Cambridge Pub just a minute's walk away & heaps of shops all around to while away your time.

Best falafel pitta (but not really pitta it’s more soft middle-eastern bread) in THE WORLD. Do not miss this honestly we ate it everyday and already miss it!

Awesome food! All packed with flavour! Friendly service. Try the home made lemonade!

  • 5/5 Sonyo E. 2 years ago on Google
EXCELLENT food & service! Warm welcome and throughout the whole meal an friendly interraction with the employees. They have been open and gave suggestions. Vegan options. I ate a Falafel plate and drubk a home made lemonade. By far one of the best food taste and right quantity. And I ate in many 5 stars hotel restaurants! I can't recommend more to try and eat at Tita if you're near or in Aix-en-Provence.

What a delicious meal! And wonderful service. We went by right when they opened. There are five tables or so outside and more inside. Cute place. But the food! I love when I find a good falafel. Tita has it and more. I went with the pita with falafel and shawarma (chicken). It was huge! And full of delicious flavors. The hummus was creamy and rich. The lightly pickled cabbage had a little crunch. The green spicy relish/sauce was quite nice. The falafel were crunchy and moist. Husband went with the plate with kefta (beef). The well spiced and tender beef came on some rice with hummus, eggplant, sweet potato, tomato, and some of the spicy relish. Service was quick, friendly, and helpful.

We went to Tita while visiting Aix-en-Provence and it was easily one of our favourite meals in France - we wish they had a location back home - we would go every day! We got the falafel and chicken shawarma plate and every ingredient was amazing. Highly recommend!
