MICHELIN star worthy. Jonathan is a masterful chef. We had a menu for 59 euros and it was incredible. The truffle gnocchi to start is to die for. Despite changing names(le petit restaurant) the menu is delectably delicious. If you love and appreciate great food, this is your one and only restaurant to go to in Ajaccio.

What an experience! 5 stars here don't do justice to this place, I wish I could give more. We've been delighted from the first moment until the end. Everything was perfect. The food was exceptional, it is clearly worth a Michelin star (although they don't offer Menu dégustation). We've been so impressed with the chef creativity and choice of ingredients. Every dish had something exceptional. One thing that particularly impressed me is that I told them I don't eat cheese and they adapted even the amuse bouche for me, it was such a nice touch (which happened to me only once before in a Michelin star restaurant, even 2-stars ones don't adapt anything - so this was greatly appreciated). The service was outstanding too. And the most surprising thing was that it was very affordable for what they offer (we got pizza/starters/dessert for almost the same price a day before in Ajaccio). Although we enjoyed the city a lot while visiting, this restaurant is still the highlight of our stay. Thank you to the chef and the team!

Amazing small family-run restaurant serving local ingredients. Vegetarian friendly, just ask them to create something! The food was absolutely delicious for a very fair price and the service was great. Highly highly recommend!

Quelle découverte à Ajaccio, super équipe, menu de dégustation à recommander. Nous avons faits de magnifique découverte de vins Corse ainsi que de succulent plat. La polenta de chataigne un vrai délice comme la trilogie de tomates avec sa gelée. Le loup de mer sur lit de choux-fleur croquant avec bisque de honard et algues japonaise on topé le tout, bravo à l‘équipe de l‘écrin.

Plat délicieux 😋 dessert fabuleux un régal pour les papilles, restaurant à faire absolument à Ajaccio !

We went to L'ÉCRIN restaurant for dinner and enjoyed a very outstanding six course surprise menu. The interior of the restaurant looks very anppea and welcoming and the service was very attentive. Every course was very well explained. With a lot of attention to detail and nuances of flavors this mere with some phantastic local wine made it a very special rememberable dining experience. We were really surprised by the craftsmanship of this talented chef as every dish was just a creation of flavors and interesting ingredients. You would not easily find a restaurant up to this level and we enjoyed every course. L'ÉCRIN clearly deserves a Michelin star and we certainly will come back the next time we are around.

The surprise menu was phenomenal and we really enjoyed our meal here. Also the recommended regional wines matched perfectly to the food. The service was perfect and answered all our questions regarding the food and wine.

Une belle découverte de ce restaurant gastronomique bien caché des rues touristiques. La cuisine est créative les plats sont délicieux. Nous avons apprécié la cuisine du chef. La terrasse est agréable. L'accueil est sympathique. Un bon choix de vins Corse à goûter. Nous avons passé un bon moment à l'écrin.

Établissement fréquenté pour nos 17 ans de mariage et nous n'avons pas été déçus. Notre choix s'est porté sur le menu "Homard". Un régal pour les pupilles (soin de la présentation) et les papilles (harmonie des ingrédients, cuisson et assaisonnement parfaits). Mon seul regret est de ne pas avoir pu choisir le dessert. Cela sera l'occasion de revenir. Le chef en personne est au service. Il peut donc donner une description détaillée de chaque plat. L'ensemble du personnel est agréable et propose un service de qualité. J'ai fait l'erreur de réserver en terrasse pour notre tête à tête. En effet le restaurant se trouve dans une rue assez fréquentée et donc plutôt bruyante (surtout un samedi soir).
