The place is really nice! An old lebanese house that was occupied by Farideh. After she passed away her grandson turned it into a lebanese restaurant and named it after her name. The food is tasty. Friendly staff.

Found the place by coincidence while I was driving around so i decided to enter and see what it is all about, i walked a few steps downwards in to a beautiful outdoor restaurant, where all the tables are set up and ready for me to choose, After I've found my comfort seat a guy came and welcomed me, he is Elie the Chef and manager of the restaurant, a polite and professional person, i asked him of their specialties and he named all my favourite dishes ex; ( Fwergh, Kroush, hlaywet, Nifa, and all the good things from that list), for me it was not lunch time yet, and i had just finished my morning coffee moments ago, but had to try something so i ended up ordering something lighter on the stomach, * loved the food and the environment, * recommended you visiting and trying * you can also buy some of the homemade products they have, ill share some photos of them,

Nice place in Ajaltoun, it's an old house turned into a restaurant. I really like the decor. The food is delicious and the staff friendly. Recommended for an escape outside Beirut.

Each plate you see in this restaurant is a must. Everything we ate was so delicious, the Meza contains many plates, you feel like please, i Don't want to miss anything. The meat is so good, I'm considering to stop being friend with my vegetarian friends.

Ridiculously overrated and greedy pricing... They even charged us for some olives we found on the table on our arrival and we didn't order (talk about Lebanese hospitality). Service is below basic, not a trace of a manager in sight... Never again

Amazing and truly Farideh (distinguished)..... Calm and warm place. Architecture and ambiance of old traditional Lebanese houses mixed with some touches from all over the world. Lebanese food garnished with the neighborhood taste. Special dishes that you won't find elsewhere. I will certainly come back again!

The service was very bad. Smell of BBQ all over the garden. We ordered 1Kg grill. It was not eatable. We complained and return the food. They didn't excuse and they invoiced all the amount. One more thing: very expensive: 5 pcs of makaniq, they charged 18$,........ They where not very polite. I don't recommend this address.

Love the setting. Has a nice garden for cool summer days. They offered a dish for free to try it out. Food was good, no complaints however the service could be improved. The chef passed by our table and made conversation with us and gave some info about the dishes which was helpful. would visit again.

The experience was wholesome. The food was amazing in a calm, breezy ambience. It was totally recommended for a nice dinner experience outside the city hustle.

OVERPRICED …. Lovely place … super cute and well thought out restaurant … I really liked the outdoor setting … the food wasn’t bad… it could be a lot better … french fries are a must .. hummus needs work .. 2asbet djej (waaay too much Debs el remen) … Service was slow .. but that’s because they where only 3 .. so they where doing there best .. lovely waiters. Lastly .: lovely place but wayyyyy over priced .. which maybe sums up why it was 70% empty on Sunday lunch ..18$ for ma2ane2 .. 8$ labneh .. 18$ for 2asbet djej ? 22$ for 2 grilled skewers of chicken … 26$ for a small nayeh plate .. and so on ..the prices are similar if not more expensive than babel and 2em sherif etc .. I think the prices should be double checked again … it’s way too much for a small but nice village restaurant.

Although the ambience is nice, and the quality of the offered oriental food is good, the prices are extremely high (almost double) compared with similar level of restaurants and size of offered plates in the same area.

It is definitely tasty but rather expensive.. i read reviews saying the price is justified by the size of the plate unfortunately it is not true. I really liked the owner anf the service was very friendly but i would not go another time if i am hungry.
