I have to be honest here. I thought about not reviewing this place as I am afraid the secret will get out. I have use Duke City Urgent Care around the corner for years. Very slow and not very caring there. This is the opposite of that. Every one was friendly the staff truly seemed to care. I was in and out in less than 45 mins and the staff talks to you like a person. You do not fill everything out on an impersonal internet form. This place is the best urgent care in the city!

I arrived and was given paperwork to complete as a first-time patient. There was only one individual in front of me and I was seen by a nurse as soon as I completed the paperwork. The nurse took my vitals and listened to the reason for my visit. I was then seen by a Nurse Practitioner within another 15 minutes. He took time to listen to my reason for the visit. He made a diagnosis after an examination and ordered a shot plus two RXs. I believe I received quality care in a clean and safe environment. I highly recommend this clinic!

This urgent care clinic is a hidden Jewel. While visiting my mom from out of town I came down with a severe sinus infection. I went to the clinic as a walk-in. The staff was very welcoming, friendly, and professional! I feel like they treated me like I was a family member and sincerely wanted me to feel better...I felt valued! And, they were short staffed that day it was Saturday morning the day before Easter Sunday. I truly started to feel better that afternoon. Thank you so much!

After reading all these great reviews, I’m not sure I ended up at the same facility (but the address and pictures say otherwise). The receptionist was polite, but some of the forms I got handed to fill out were quite difficult to read (looked like they had been faxed 10x over). The doctor I saw looked generally disheveled and not very alert? All he did was look at my throat with a flashlight and say, “Yeah, it’s probably strep,” (despite not having the characteristic white patches of strep). I moved here from out-of-state, and any time I ever went to an urgent care with a sore throat/congestion, it was standard practice to at least have my throat swabbed and a rapid strep test done. There were no swabs taken, no Covid test run. Just 30 secs of, “Yeah, that’s probably it,” and he walked out telling me he’d be back and let me know what Rx he was calling in. After another 25 mins of sitting in the exam room, I finally opened the door and asked a nurse if I really still needed to be waiting there. She said she needed to ask the doctor…but couldn’t find him. When they eventually found him, he walked in and said, “What’s the problem?…” like he’d never seen me before. I explained to him he had told me to wait, and he’d be back, but that was 30 mins ago. To which he replied, “Oh, I called in your prescription in 20 mins ago!” Ah, okay. The whole interaction just seemed kind of bizarre and unprofessional.

The receptionist was the ugliest person ever had the absolute worst attitude! I don’t know how she is able to have a job as a front desk employee when she is the most rude and nastiest person to talk to. She said she couldn’t call the insurance like she is literally supposed to because she other things to do. I will make sure everyone knows not to come here. You should be ashamed to have her as the first person someone meets. She should absolutely not have a job I will also make sure to complain to the state that you were being discriminatory and turning away people because she your front desk lady didn’t feel like doing her job. If I could give zero stars I would.

I absolutely loved this place. Wait time was to a minimum. They were incredible with my son neo. He stuck a gem in his ear and we couldn't get it out. They were amazing with him. Couldn't have asked for better service! Well be back I'm sure :)

Disorganized and ignorant at best, recipe for malpractice at worst. Brought my child for ear infection, he was diagnosed and prescribed antibiotics. Was told they would be called in, ready in about an hour. 2 hours later, no Rx called in. Call office, they say they are very busy, say will call in another hour. Rx still not in 2 hours later by pharmacy closing. Called again at opening- informed them my 8 year old had another feverish and painful night. Was told again they would call in, and NP would call- he was very busy. 8 hours after this conversation- no call, no Rx. Was finally given a paper Rx when I called and said I’m not getting off line until I can talk to someone and that I was heading there. In the meantime they had the audacity to send me this survey via text while my child continued to have no care. If you need URGENT care do not go here- you will not get it. It was acceptable to them to have an 8 year old child’s care delayed 24 hours and for him to be in pain and ill. If they are truly this “very busy” they need to take less patients and actually complete their care. I will be reporting to state board. Also be advised that every call you make to them will also have to make about 5-6 unanswered calls to talk to someone. This business is truly unprepared to deal with any urgent situation. I want my copay back and would give negative stars if possible.

I came on Christmas Eve and was happy there were masks available since I didn't feel well. Although they didn't tell me right away they were out of flu tests, they were still able to process a quick covid and strep throat test right away and then get me antibiotics. They were efficient, professional, and made me happy I had chosen to come here.

Everyone was very friendly, personable, quick and thorough. Really felt like they cared, listened and did everything they could to diagnose and treat. They also worked very well as a team to take care of all their patients as quick and thorough as possible. Would definitely go back again.

Wonderful staff and despite taking five kids in is a challenge in itself and not feeling well they made our visit smooth and accomplished. Medical team was amazing they were kind and attentive despite my heard of gremlins being kids. My new favorite urgent care.

It was an amazing experience in my Opinion NM urgent care is the only choice. From the check-in to being seen by the provider was all smooth I was there no more than an hour, When the provider entered the room she apologized for the wait I found that quite refreshing considering seen by my primary I have waited as long as three hours in the waiting area. However to tell you the truth the provider here was worth the wait I would’ve waited longer she examined me very thoroughly made her diagnosis and sent prescriptions to my pharmacy which I was five minutes away from the pharmacy when I got there they had already got the prescriptions filled. The last time I saw my provider it took them one and a half days to get my prescription sent to the pharmacy. New Mexico urgent care is amazing very professional also very affordable if you’re self-pay patient and everyone there are quite professional thank you so much for being there.

Excellent all the way around! No unnecessary lab work, very friendly from the moment I walked in. No looking down on me because I had no insurance. The nurse practitioner was very professional, forthright, and actually listened to me. Overall this is THE BEST urgent care clinic I have experienced.

Neither the receptionist nor the young lady who took my vital signs was happy to be working. Both of them seemed to view me as an inconvenience. The nurse practitioner was excellent; professional.

My visit to the urgent care was a positive experience. Everyone was friendly and caring. I felt they truly cared about making sure I was cared for and I feel the care received was very good. Thank you! I definitely recommend going to the urgent care.

This place was awesome!! I've unfortunately been there quite a few times in 2023 due to some ongoing health issues, but luckily they are open late and on weekends. Each time I have been seen by Nurse Practitioner Eric Lund, he has gone ABOVE and BEYOND to help me. Truly felt like he took the time to listen to all my concerns better than when I went to the Emergency Room this year!! I genuinely felt like the provider at this clinic CARED and wanted to help me (instead of feeling like they wanted to rush me out the door with a prescription). They will also write you a doctors note if you have to miss work or school and have even written me a referral to go see a specialist. I wish all my doctors could be like this. This place has restored my faith in healthcare providers, and I wouldn't hesitate to go there again if I had a problem in the future. Thank you for your great work!! Please give Eric Lund and all your team raises for their wonderful effort. p.s. to anyone reading this, if you go at 8am when they open, the wait times are generally the shortest.

The office was freezing. The exam rooms looked pretty bare. The provider did not exam me AT ALL I just told him my symptoms and he immediately wanted to send me to the er. How do you do that without actually examining someone. There were two people in front of me and we were all outta there within 15 mi. Doesn't seem through at all to me. Will not be going there ever again.

The doctor and nurse were so compassionate and attentive. It was the best urgent care experience ive ever had. I can't thank them enough

Was very pleased, only waited approximately 15 minutes to be seen. Checked for COVID and step, negative on both. Was given prescriptions to help with symptoms. No complaints, would go there again if in need of medical treatment.

This facility has great staff and doctors. They were very personable and knew what they were talking about. I have had 3 different nurses and each one has been excellent. Evelyn particularly was very professional, kind and hard-working. I appreciate the staff here. Although since this facility is better than most urgent cares, it can get busy which can make the wait time longer. Aside from the staff, they knew how to help me and which prescriptions/medications I needed for each scenario I have come here for (a bad accident and more extreme sicknesses like strep).

Super nice and extremely helpful staff that went above and beyond to help me. The nurses and the doctor are very nice and knowledgeable and eager to help. Would definitely come here more than other urgent cares.

Friendly, efficient, and fast! I would’ve waited 2-3 months to see my primary, then wait an hour to be seen by my Dr once there. At NM Urgent care I walked in, was greeted by a friendly receptionist, kind nurse, and a Dr who actually listened to me. In and out in 40 minutes tops.

Good morning, I was definitely pleased at this facility on Juan tabo! Nice waiting area, rooms had actual doors, the place smelled good, looked great. Staff was very helpful & cheerful. As for the doctor he was amazing!! Actually took time to sit down with me, go over what was going on, his plan of action. Today I feel wonderful!!!! "Thank you so much!" I felt so horrible when I arrived, the front desk was quick and efficient, the nurse attentive and caring and the dr was personable and AMAZING! After two shots and a breathing treatment I felt so much better! Thank you to the crew for your time and patience to get me back to a semblance of normalcy!

Let's start out with the fact that the only two people that showed up for work were a delight as human beings. The three stars are because the actual sutures I received are almost hilariously poor. Having had a few before, I tried to advise the NP on site about proper technique and the type of knot you'd tie on the face.... he took up way too much skin and tied it like a pair of Nikes. Again, nice guy.. but there are plenty of UC locations in Albuquerque and if y'all can't keep enough staff to be competent, you shouldn't open. Cheers

I had broken my foot they had no x-ray abilities. Gave me a muscle relaxer. I didn’t even ask for. The boot they provided for me was 10 times too big for my leg. When I asked if I could get a new one they said sorry that’s all we have. I wasn’t given any instructions no aftercare just a bill for the boot that was huge that’s the only paperwork I received. I definitely won’t go back

First time at this urgent care and I LOVE it! No crazies that come with ER visits or hours waiting. Just very nice, knowledgeable Dr & kind staff. I don't want to spread the word about this hidden gem in the heights but I will! Thank you so very much for getting our baby girl feeling better 😊

This place is the best!!! I get off work later than most. When I first arrived they had discontinued taking patients for the day. I was super bummed and desperate cause I felt awful. The provider came out and asked about my problem and he said they could see even when they already stopped taking patients. Saying I'm grateful doesn't even describe how much this meant to me. They are always so polite and they have been so wonderful with my daughter and husband. Great hours and days available too. 10/10 would recommend!

Dr Eric is a very nice Dr. He is very funny and listens to you. But the Sunday Dr is very rude it seems he doesn't want to listen to you. I'll make sure not to go in on Sunday. The way he talks to me on the phone was uncalled for. I don't know when Dr Eric is in I'll call first before going in. Thank God I don't sick that much. The secretary was doing her best to help me out. She was very nice. That doctor that works on Sunday is lucky I don't call the state on him.

Seeing the good reviews is why we decided to go here. We waited for about an hour and a half to be seen. I don’t want to be that person, my frustration lies in the fact that there was only 1 person waiting in the lobby. I know that waiting is normal for most urgent care facilities. We then waited for 45 minutes for two shots. It seemed there wasn’t great communication. Again, I don’t want to be that person. It’s a bit of a downer knowing that we could’ve been out sooner. Staff were friendly

I had to take my daughter in and they were great. Everyone was friendly and very helpful. Guy, the nurse practitioner on duty, even called me about an hour after we left to offer more options on caring for my daughter's ear infection. He also called the pharmacy to discuss a different option for medicine when they didn't have the original in stock and weren't offering options to me directly.

First time being here, passing through due to holidays, was sick with bronchitis that hadn't gotten over from visiting family in another state. The staff was nice, quick, got me right back. Was seen by the doctor who was GREAT! He got me all fixed up with a shot and 2 antibiotics and some steroids,it's been 5 days and with rest and taking my meds I am almost back to normal. I would definitely recommend them and would go there again If I were here and sick again!

Been here twice and they were super fast and efficient. I'm pregnant so they made sure the prescribed medication was safe and answered all of my questions. I will never go to any other urgent care. This is hands down the best one!

My experience in New Mexico urgent care was the greatest experience I've ever had in a medical provider. The staff was courteous, professional, upbeat, friendly, knowledgeable and kind.
