This place has very poor service. Period. If you're not a large problem, you will be ignored. You will be triaged quickly and then left waiting and waiting if they don't think you are a serious case. You are better off waiting through the night to be seen by a day clinic. We got there at a reasonable hour and it took 3 hours to be taken to a room and 45 minutes after that for my toddler to be seen. The whole waiting room cleared and then some before we were taken to a room. We were there a total of 6 hours and forced to wait and come home after midnight because they put us off. Kept our toddler up all night. We were ignored. Had to ask multiple times when we would be seen. The secretary basically looked at me, told me that patience were seen based on symptoms, and turned back to her computer. I was dismissed. No empathy. And, after being taken to a room, my husband had to ask where the door was and demonstrate he was going to leave without my child being seen before anyone moved to help. Only the security guard seemed aware that we were out late with a toddler that needed to be in bed and not waiting for the adults to get their act together. When she was FINALLY seen, the staff seemed reasonable and provided what she needed. But, there was no need to make us wait that long.

I hate leaving negative reviews but for this one I MUST!!! I actually wish I could give this place a zero star. I have been here since 1 PM. It is now 7:30 p.m. I came into an exam room at 5:40 PM the provider that was here until seven and saw two patients from 540 until 7 PM. He skipped my two-year-old son who is extremely sick. The new provider that came in at 7 PM also skipped my son so we are still waiting to be seen and treated now close to 8pm.. I would not recommend this place to anybody. Do not come here. Worst experience I’ve ever had with Presbyterian . We were better off going to an emergency room highly do not recommend to come here.I forgot to mention the seats in the exam rooms are hard as a rock no beds!!!! My two year old couldn’t get comfortable on my lap in a metal chair . Update on my care at this place. 9:30 PM and I’m barely getting ready to be discharged this place is worthless, and I will never be back, and I do not recommend anybody in the city of Albuquerque Rio Rancho, nowhere in New Mexico, as a matter of fact!!!!!

Seriously, read the reviews.... this place seems to have no interest in providing health care. I just left this place. I arrived at around 9 PM. One of the first things I hear after walking in is a woman in a wheelchair hooked up to oxygen ask a nurse why she had been waiting for 4 hours. The nurse replied that they saw patients based on severity. Quick scan of the room, no one else present hooked up to an oxygen tank and in a wheelchair..... So I asked the receptionist if I could expect to have to wait 4 hours for care. She said she couldn't estimate that, since patients are seen based on severity. Which on the surface seems reasonable enough. Then she said I would be triaged fairly quickly, and they'd be able to make a better judgment then. 45 minutes later, still no triage, and two people who checked in after me have already been called back for triage. At this point I'm done. I'm headed to an ER where hopefully I'll actually get medical care. Long story short, this place seems tragically understaffed, and seem to want to cover that up by playing the "your symptoms aren't severe enough" card. Avoid at all costs. Read some of the other reviews, where people basically spent all night here to receive no effective care only to go someplace else the next day to receive actual treatment in a fraction of the time.

I would definitely recommend this facility to individuals expecting to receive exceptional care, bedside manner, and education regarding their diagnosis. Myself and daughter recently moved to Albuquerque from California and had not yet Established care with a primary physician due to it only being a few weeks in the area. There was a wealth of urgent cares to choose from and I am glad that I chose this facility for our immediate health care needs on 6/9/22. Upon entry into the facility, we were greeted with a smile by well groomed, compassionate, knowledgeable staff. Our provider’s name is Ben. When he entered our exam room, he introduced himself kindly, slowly, and loud enough for us to actually hear him through a mask. He took his time by getting a thorough history, and duration of our symptoms. He did a thorough examination. He went over all our test results in a way that we were able to understand and then let us know what the best plan of treatment was and to be sure we understood he then asked if we had any questions and answered our questions knowledgeably and with patience. He then let us know what medications were being prescribed and what the medication treats. Ben gave exemplary care in all aspects and should be an example of professionalism, compassion, and bed-side manner for all other Provider’s to follow within Presbyterian Health. Thank you with heart felt gratitude, Jessica Martinez

Check in was done in timely manner! Triage care was performed professionally and great communication with the medical staff and the patient (me). Mike K (PA) addressed the results of the Covid19 test and Strep throat test in a professional timely manner! Mike gave me options for care for the strep throat. Between oral meds or a one time penicillin injection? I asked him to please check out if any maintenance meds have a reaction with the injection. Mike said that I would be fine with my meds and the penicillin injection. Mike stated he would have a nurse come in and administer the penicillin injection. Thanks for the great care from beginning to end of visit. Micah (RN) gave me the injection and told me that I was discharged and go to the receptionist to check out. PresNow is focused on the patient care and needs. This was my second time at PresNow and I am going to go there to help othe medical facilities care for the more severe cases. Joy, David, Mike and Micah, thank you for your professionalism, caring and prompt attention to my concerns. Thank you everyone at PresNow and other medical care facilities for your work and time during this pandemic period to care for patients who need to be treated. Gilbert V.

This is a busy place and they can't control the number of people coming and going but they handle the chaos like champs. I had to wait about 5 hours but once I was treated, they were thorough, apologetic for the wait, and compassionate professionals. I would go again if I needed assistance. Jen, my nurse practitioner treated me like I was the only person she saw that day. Dominique, my staffer behind the desk was so pleasant and engaging. They called the nextcday to check on me. Not once did I feel like a number. Great work and thanks for getting me healthy!

Ok.. this is a tough one. I'll start with the bad.. and then I'll end on a positive note? The bad: we were there for 6 HOURS, 6 hours!.. just for my 9yr old son to get 6 stitches. The takes the word "Urgent" right out of Urgent Care. In addition, everyone has to wear masks and congregate in a waiting room that doesn't have enough seats when busy. Why on earth wouldn't Pres have a queueing system allowing for customers to wait in the comfort and safety of their own vehicles?? This would add efficiency and safety, as well as relieve a congested waiting room of crying babies and germs. OK, that's my feedback on the bad. As for the good, my son did receive great care for the actual 1hr of triage + suturing... but again, 5hrs of wait time! I was driving home late and on icy roads!! You can do better, Pres; next Urgent Care need, I'm going to look at alternatives

Had to wait 6 hours to see a doctor. Short staffed for a holiday. Poor management and prediction. Staff was excellent, head nurse was awesome, and doctor was good. They were transparent. Vitals were taken and we were taken back to the lobby. No transparency and were not told what was next and why we were waiting. The guy at the checkout desk was rude to my wife when she asked if he knew what was taking so long. He said, "This is not am emergency room".

Super understaffed. My husband went in at 0840 and was forgotten about until he confronted the staff and they tried to gaslight him and say they had been calling him for hours. He was finally seen around 1600. A nurse gave him medicine without mentioning that the visit would be considered "emergency" if he took it. Then, once he took it, she tried to get him to sign the consent form, which he refused. The other nurses acknowledged that she messed up and said it was because she was new, but they would not change the visit back to urgent and told us we had to go through billing. The charge nurse, Micah, wouldn't give us the nurse's name. He was also very dismissive. Totally unprofessional. He and many of the other nurses also did not follow protocol and had their badges backwards, so we could not even see their names or pictures. I work for Pres, have been with the company for 4 years, and I'm so disappointed that this is how we treat our patients.

Love this place when I find myself in need of urgent care. Everyone is friendly and courteous. I have always been triaged in a reasonable time frame. The staff are knowledgeable and thorough. X-ray and CT Scan are available on site as well as lab and ultrasound if needed. If emergency care is needed they do that too and those patients go first which is as expected. Very professional staff, doctors, nurses, technicians, just everyone. Thank you for great care.

Despite the long wait time and how busy it was at the time I went, the staff never failed to be attentive and courteous to ALL members in the lobby. Huge thank you to Shirley and Naomi for making the place hospitable, comfortable, and warm. I’d also like the say thank you to Robert. He was well educated and skilled in his practice. First time someone had placed an IV and got it in on the first try with no bruising. I appreciate all the hard work each and every one of the staff did for me.

My daughter went in due to having a high fever and a high pulse rate. I took her in and we were treated with respect by the staff immediately. Everyone we saw that night was wonderful. Crystal was a shining star in your clinic. We was wonderful, caring and sweet. Not only does she work hard but she was also training a gentleman who was also lovely and very gentle.

I walked into Urgent Care on the Paseo Del Norte and San Pedro building. I was greeted warmly and with concern. I sat in the waiting area about 10 minutes when a male technician ( nurse) called me back to get vitals and find why I was there. Again friendly and concerned. I had a Covid test and blood pressure , oxygen, and temperature check. Then I was given a room where I was seen by a nurse and attending physician on call. This happened about 10:00 Sunday morning. My Covid test came back negative and I was assigned 3 prescriptions to deal with an unknown virus.

The paramedics there did a great job at making me feel comfortable. I forget their names but they were great. The physician was intrigued because my condition is so rare. He did his best at prescribing the medication I needed. But couldn't really tell me anything I didn't already know.

I'm a nurse and your nursing staff that took care of me yesterday was amazing. I got to actually be a patient. My bladder almost ruptured and the team that took care of me was amazing. The amount of empathy the staff showed was amazing I wish I knew here name unfortunately I was in so much pain I could not focus but the RN who took care of me I just want to give her a shout out and tell her she was amazing and I appreciate everything she did for me.

Clean facilities. Decent wait time for an urgent care. Friendly staff. My only concern was the knowledge of the “doctor” who cared for me. I went in for a two month long cold and without examining my throat, ears, nose I was skipped to EKG’s, blood work and told I may be having a heart attack because I said my chest hurt from coughing for almost two months. I left with no meds and no answers other than I had a cold. Ended up going to another doctor who prescribed me with antibiotics and I feel so much better.

I had a wonderful experience in that every staff person I encountered were kind and so helpful. My overall time from signing into checking out was about an hour and a half. Very quick in my mind. The care given was great. Thank you for taking care of me so well. Without a doubt, I would recommend them.

Amazing location, doctors, nurses and staff. Super helpful and efficient. Felt taken care of and not just another number. Constantly checked on me and helped me understand everything that was happening along the way. Everyone seems to like their jobs and care about the patients.

Everything went better than expected. The wait time was relatively short (maybe 2.5h) and the actual time spent with the doctor and getting the procedure done was like 30 minutes. My issue wasn’t super urgent so I didn’t mind the wait time and it seemed like triage was doing an excellent job of triaging and prioritizing. The doctor and nurses I interacted with were friendly, kind, professional, and efficient, as were the check-in and triage staff and nurses. A nurse came in just before the procedure and asked if I was nervous or had any concerns and I said “uh yeah, the pain!” I was half joking because of course this was going to hurt a little, but she took me super seriously and assured me that there would be a local anesthetic applied to the area and that I was in good hands. I could tell that if I’d had more complicated or more serious concerns that she would have made sure my concerns were met, addressed, or resolved in the most professional manner, which really put me at ease. Thank you all so much!

I had an excellent experience, everyone from check in, triage, PA, MA/ nurse were very pleasant, caring and efficient. I was very impressed with my PA Roderick Kelly. He was caring, & explained things well. He took the time to review my chart to see the history on my condition, so he could give the correct treatment. Staff followed up with me this morning. I'm very impressed with Pres Now on Passeo.

All the staff is professional and courteous. My treatment was quick and effective. Going to the urgent care or ER is going to involve a long wait, but they moved through the line of patients at a good pace.

Took my daughter in for an ear infection. Nurses were great. Doctor wanted to test for everything under the sun. Finally after 2 hours he checks ears and it’s an infection. Still didn’t want us to leave and wanted to run more tests. I only got out of there after demanding to leave with a prescription.

Fantastic experience overall. In and out with X-rays and a splint in under 2 hours. Everyone from checkin, triage, X-ray, PA were friendly and efficient. My splint had a bump in the heal that I discovered in the middle of the night when it was hurting me. Other than that, I was very impressed. I would definitely recommend this facility!

All of the staff from time of check in, Triage, testing, care and discharge/ check out were friendly, informative, respectful, patient and kind. This was my first time personally going to PresNow and the experience was positive. I was able to ask questions and given the needed information about my situation and plan of care. The entire facility was clean, neat, orderly and didn't have that dull clinic feel nor were there any unsettling smells or sights. There also was NOT any chatter from any of the personnel discussing PHI nor violations of HIPAA that tends to be common in ER and Urgent Care settings which was GREATLY appreciated and reassuring. I also appreciated that when getting up close and personal, both male and female personnel explained what they needed to do before doing it, they maintained the highest level of dignity and privacy. When touching parts of me they announced what they would do prior to doing it which clearly showed they were very aware of upholding a trauma informed approach. I personally think this is crucial as you never know who has experienced abusive or traumatic situations in the past. All maintained a very courteous and respectful demeanor. Thank you for providing quality and dignified care to your patients.

Press now is conveniently located, and the day I went, there were not many people in the lobby. I was triage fairly quickly. I had blood tests run and we need to wait for the results. This took a fair bit of time, once they receive the results, it was taken back to the room, Dr. came in fairly quickly, and the addressing of my issues began. All of the individuals I worked with, were very professional, courteous, and respectful of my issues. My only real complaint is they send someone from registration into your room almost as soon as you’ve been situated so they can collect their fees. I find this very disrespectful to the patient and interferes with the process of being helped. I do understand why this is done, but I still find it disrespectful.

I went to urgent care and was greeted by the representative behind the desk. She was very courteous and professional, she checked me in right way. The man who called me up, after just a couple of minutes, to get my vitals was also very courteous and professional. He walked me to the back where the had an exam room and stated that the doctor would be with me shortly. Within a minute or do the doctor came in and treated me. The doctor was kind, patient, understanding and very thorough. A nurse came in to let us know that she was checking me out and I was able to leave after a just a brief time of being there. What an amazing staff and very efficient.

Pretty long wait for the amount of people in the waiting room. But once I was in a room, service moved quickly and efficiently. The staff was friendly and very attentive and courteous. My situation was communicated well between the staff and I didn’t have to repeat myself over and over which was very nice. Not something you get at many hospitals. My discharge instructions were clearly communicated and repeated if necessary until I understood them. Will return here if needed. I’m

The facility was definitely at capacity the night that I went in, but it seemed to move very smoothly. This urgent care center is my preferred place to go in cases of health intervention. The staff from the front to the back are courteous, kind and the doctors are very attentive. I was seen, diagnosed and prescribed the same night and setup with follow up appointments for discharge. This center and its people are amazing.

Clinic was very caring. However, it seems like there was only one doctor for the entire building which isnt okay based on the size of the clinic. I understand wait times are based on the severity of your injury/illness. But we waited for about 5 hours after being in a room which I felt was too long. Especially if you are trying to get more people in beds. Assess said patient and if you aren't waiting on labs/results from tests, get us in and out. I don't see any reason to leave someone sitting there that long if they aren't waiting for some sort of test to come back. But other than that, great staff and the nurse was very sweet and empathetic. The doctor was also very kind too once she finally came in. Thank you for treating my daughter ❤️

Everyone treated me with respect and were completely professional! Went in for a sprained ankle and had vitals and X-ray done within about the first hour. Was there for a total of probably three hours. But they are a combo ER/urgent care so if you need seen quickly for urgent care don’t go there without expecting a wait. But for how busy they were I think the staff were efficient!

I had to go into the ER for chest pain. I am 17 weeks pregnant and positive for covid. They got me in instantly! I had concerns about an x-ray so they had the doctor come talk to me about options, my blood work and what is best not just for me but the baby. I felt safe, reassured about my decisions and well cared for. Everyone was so kind, caring of me in my position and I feel like I got excellent care.

These angels saved my son’s life. Covid violently attacked my son I don’t want to go into detail. They acted swiftly due to the symptoms he was exhibiting. They got him stable and well enough to be transferred to the downtown Pres where he continued treatment. The compassion, empathy, and knowledge surpasses any facility I have been to in NM. I had to go again recently for an emergency of my own and my nurse had to have been an Angel. They all where. I was in such extreme pain and they helped keep me stable, they treated me successfully and took care of my after care. The best thing is that I came in for an urgent care visit but was admitted to their ER. I didn’t have to be transferred. And they accept majority of insurances. They run great facility. Every single person there. I cannot thank you all enough.
