I’ve been going there for the past 3 years and never had a complaint and after Samantha Baca left I inherited a Dr who just didn’t listen or care about my concerns. It got to the point where he would leave not even 4 minutes after talking to me then send his medical assistant to finish up. Or he would tell me “I don’t know, I’m not smart enough to know that”. Made me feel like I wasn’t worth his time. Following up on lab results and referrals was a joke. I was given no choice but to look elsewhere for another PCP.

They used to have an amazing PA who was truly a family doctor and I will miss her a lot. The front office is uncommunicative, I didn't know my PA was gone and they didnt tell me. They took 2 years to get me a referral to an ENT office, and partly because they were so slow the first one they sent me to no longer existed when I tried to make an appointment. There is no longer any reason to visit this office.

If I could give this place no stars I would. Saw Lois Moss last week, she seemed annoyed and irritated with my questions regarding my gout. I guess it shouldn't surprise me, no one in that office seemed to have a clue. The young lady that helped me before Ms. Moss came into the room seemed cranky. Their front desk was overwhelmed. They don't seem to really understand their jobs and the best I can describe the experience is I would rather go sit at the MVD than have to return to the staff at Midtown Family Medicine. I can't understand why anyone on these reviews would give this family practice a good experience. Maybe I missed something but I doubt it. It's near impossible to get anyone to answer the phones, I have been waiting for medication refills and had another question for Lois. I did finally get through on a call and someone said if I had any more concerns I would need another appointment. It's insane. You can tell it's obvious that no one in that obvious loves what they do, no smiles, no manners, the wait is long.

Midtown Family Medicine has a really bad habit of charging a co-pay when it's not required by insurance. They have the insurance policy in front of them so they should know when its required and when it is not. I should not have to correct a professional. It's really shady putting people on spot like that.

My whole family are patients at midtown. The provider is AMAZING the rest of the staff is clueless. Including the "office manager." Stephanie was very rude and spoke over me when I called her to askabout a bone scan referral that was sent in August that my daughter is still waiting for. The condition she is being treated for is irreversible of not controlled, she could lose movement in her leg. I'm a metal assistant as well and I know there a away to get a prior approvalfrom insurance company's quicker then 1.5 months. These are ppl we go to for our health concerns and for their guidance. Samantha is amazing but the rest of the staff is useless. O would not recommend this office to anyone with complex medical issues.

Hard to get anything done here. On hold for 10 minutes and then hung up on. Always have issues with insurance, they’ve overcharged me and then later I had to request a check from the practice. Not proactive about making appointments.

These people are caring practitioners. I have seen them for several years. Ignore the poor reviews. Ultimately, you are the guard of your own imprisonment. The gate has always been open. Just get up and let yourself out. I'm a long term cancer survivor. Dr. M and staff have been absolutely awesome. They have supported me with deep compassion. Thanks Dr. M., The Gman

I am a longtime patient of Dr. Montoya’s. Probably of about 15 years. When I tell you this man is the most caring, companionate, intelligent and skilled Dr I mean it. He never dismisses my concerns and always spends enough time with me to truly listen. He remembers everything about me and my family and shows true concern about how we are all doing. I am in excruciating pain today going on 3 weeks dealing with sciatica. It hurt so much I couldn’t put into words the pain I felt. I wanted to know what was wrong and Dr. Montoya knew instantly what to do. He not only referred me to a trusted spine specialist he sent him a message to please reach out to me asap. By the time we were driving out of the parking lot the spine specialist called. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate Dr. Montoya for listening and taking action. I feel safe in his care and I highly recommend him.

I’ve been a patient for over 15 yrs and I always feel well taken care of, never rushed, and have even had Dr Montoya call me after hours to follow up when it warranted.

I have been a client of Midtown Family Medicine for approximately 10 years. I have great experiences with the office and it's staff. My Providers have taken excellent care of and my family. I was truly blessed to find them and truly blessed by the care they give me and my family.

What's going on? I've called multiple times along with my husband and no one answers or returns messages. We will be finding a new doctor's office since our health care is not important to them.

😠 Avoid this clinic at all cost! They are rude and unprofessional to say the least. I was there Friday, my appointment was at 7:15 I was put into a room and left for over an hour and never once checked on. Once I did see someone I was given a prescription by a PA who didn’t even have the DEA credentia...

😠 This was the worst experience I've had in a health facility. When I arrived I was told the Wait would be 3 hours even though I had no warning of this online or over the phone when I called ahead. My afternoon plans were shot. After 1.5 hours I noticed that multiple people who came after me were ca...
