I made an appointment in July 2017 for September 2017. A couple weeks prior to that appointment I received a call to reschedule to November 2017. Then, 1 week prior to that appointment I received another call to reschedule AGAIN. My appointment now is set for January 2018. I was told it was because the doctor is going part-time. I don't care what the reason is , waiting 6 months for an appointment is completely unacceptable. I will be going elsewhere for my medical needs.

If I could rate this department with a 0 star that exactly what it will get! It not the doctor very good doctor. It the lazy, unprofessional staff those who want answers the phone and those staff who gives patients the wrong information! I had a appointment schedule for Tue 9/4 was given wrong information so when I did make it to my appointment I told the front desk staff name of my Dr and the procedure, the front desk staff try calling the staff couldn't get a answers the front staff went into the back of the medical staff know I was in radiology. The front desk staff stated to me that the medical staff told him the Dr has left for the day. I wasted a whole day and spent 2/3 hours on the phone trying to let someone know the problem that occurred. I was told to call the department back I try calling the following day can't get a real live human beings on the phone. What a Joke!

I've been a patient for years and they out of the blue transfered me doctors and now my doctor is never there. When i try to call to reschedule they are never there or out to lunch. They do have an aswering service but they can't do ANYTHING it makes no sense. When they need to reschedule you because the doctors leave it goes into the system as you cancelled or no showed.

Was referred to a Pres endricronologist 3 weeks ago by my primary care physician. The referral has been sent 3 times to their office in this time period of and has still not been received on their end. I asked if there was a way to verify the fax had been received and was told "there is nobody there to check." Now I have to take time off of work to hand deliver the referral. Ridiculous lack of empathy and professional protocols.

I was referred to Dr. Mansi Bharat Mehta at Kaseman Endocrinology. I was scheduled quickly (within a couple of weeks when there were months+ waiting lists on other providers). She is awesome! She took her time with me to understand my symptoms and what had already been checked. She reviewed my records thoroughly and made a recommended plan of evaluation. I followed her plan and now have answers and a treatment path forward. I am very thankful for Dr. Mehta and have already recommended her to my friends and family.

Not even worth 1 star. Won't give refills for meds because I they want me to come in for an appointment but also don't have any appointments THIS YEAR. It's June 3 and no appointments this year. Every time I have called over the past few years there are no appointments available and today was the very first time anyone mentioned I could be put on a waitlist. Usually they just say we don't have any appointments. Give refills for meds needed to sustain life and hire more doctors!

I would recommend that any transgender patients avoid this office. I had an extremely awkward experience over the phone trying to set up an appointment and then was rejected by Dr. Mehta, who I had specifically wanted to see for blood sugar management. Apparently they send trans patients to Dr. McGuire so I would try to see her first.

I've had good care from doctors and practitioners over years, but they can't seem to keep their employees. High turnover, unreasonable wait times to book an appointment. For people with type 1 diabetes, when we need care, we shouldn't have to wait 6-8 months to get help.

Saw Dr. Mehta in 2019. I was thoroughly impressed with how approachable, accessible, kind, and patient-centered she is. During adolescence my pediatric endocrinologist referred me to Dr. Mehta with very high praise. Thatā€™s because sheā€™s one of the best endocrinologists in town, or possibly even the state. Due to no fault but my own, Iā€™ve been meaning to re-establish myself as a patient. Jeremiah from the administrative end has been very instrumental in this process. Many reviews are critical on this business pageā€” although waiting on the call line can take awhile, wait times for appointments are long, or there are insurance issues, not all of these problems are Pres Endocrinologyā€™s fault. These unfortunate and systemic barriers present at almost any providerā€™s office or hospital-based specialistā€™s offices. Even more so in New Mexico, where we have a fragile medical system alongside aging and at-risk populations. This is more so the case at Pres Endocrinologyā€” where due a providerā€™s retirement, Dr. Mehta has had to take on their patients. As long Pres Endocrinology continues to provide services to their best of abilities, I will continue to be patient on my end as well. I may possibly even update it with more positive comments. If I have any issues after my secondary visit, I will update the review.

Really disappointed with the ā€œcareā€ we received. I waited for months to get our daughter (who has Prader-Willi syndrome) in to see the Endocrinologist. We saw Dr Mehta who was very nice but had only had 1 PWS client ever. This was in 2018. We never went back because no hospital in Las Cruces would draw the 6 pages of labs since the orders were from Albuquerque???. We have been traveling to Odessa, TX and San Diego so our daughter can get appropriate care. Her San Diego team wants to put her on HGH, but I need an Endocrinologist to prescribe. So I called Presbyterian Endocrinology & even though our daughter has BCBS PPO and the DD Waiver as secondary, NOW I HAVE TO GET A REFERRAL TO SEE A DOCTOR SHE ALREADY SAW? OMG, Premier PPOā€™s DONT NEED REFERRALS, but Pres Endocrinology DOES. Then I was told they donā€™t accept ANY TYPE OF BCBSā€¦ā€¦Really? The number one rated hospital doesnā€™t take BCBS PPO OR CENTENNIAL CARE??? WTH? Nobody will answer my questions. Finally BCBS told me that they WILL in fact except our BCBS because we donā€™t live in any of the counties surrounding Albuquerque. I feel very sorry for people living up there & have BCBS. ALL I NEED IS AN ENDOCRINOLOGIST THAT WILL PRESCRIBE HGH as recommended by the Geneticist, Dysmorphologist and Endocrinologist at Radyā€™s Childrenā€™s Medical ctr in San Diego. Iā€™m soooooo disappointed with Presbyterian. I will never recommend a facility that has a wait list that is months long, and MUST have a referral when theyā€™ve already seen our daughter. If there was a ZERO star, thatā€™s what I would rate Pres Endocrinology!!!!!
