We’ve been taking our dogs and cats to 4 Paws for 3+ years, and I cannot say enough good things about them. They are very good, very helpful, and their prices are very affordable. I have had several people I know switch to them as well and they’ve had the same experiences. Great place for all your pets.

Our kitty had a gunky eye which we assumed was an infection and wanted to get it treated as quickly as possible. We called around to see who would be able to see him as soon as possible and unfortunately were told it would be about a week to two weeks wait. Thankfully 4 paws popped up and I gave them a call, they managed to fit our little guy in and I could not be more grateful. They were so helpful, thoughtful, and gentle with our anxious little man. They were incredibly transparent with pricing and were able to get our kitty’s eye assessed and come up with a treatment plan quickly. Going to the vet is a taxing experience for pet and owner but they made it as smooth as possible.

This place is the best place to take your pet. They are compassionate, loving and look for solutions. My 15 yr old dog wasn’t over looked as being old. The vet helped solve my dogs issues that the pet ER couldn’t tell me after spending $2000. I will always come here and trust their opinion.

I changed my feeling about 4Paws, they are way to expensive! $700.+ To have a tooth pulled, and they didn't have the Vet I came all the way there to have do it, do it, some Vet with attitude did it. I still love Dr. Hamel but I need to find a little less expensive place. They are just out for profit and the manager is really rude. They have a new Vet here that we have used for years, Dr. Hamel. We absolutely love her, she is very well educated, stays up to date on new information. They do not offer Any pricing or help for low income or disabled people, which I desperately need, the Humane Society no longer provides veterinarian services, just shots and spey and neutering. 4 Paws is always our number one go to. Our dogs receive primary care here and they are always able to schedule an emergency visit for us in times of need. One of my dogs needed emergency surgery, in which 4 Paws were proactive in locating the area of concern, providing information, and finding us another vet who could perform the surgery day of. They were very helpful in a high stress situation, providing us with the answers and comfort.

So far so good. Took my six month old kitten for his pre-neuter exam. Highly knowledgeable techs and liked the Vet too. I'll post later when my kittens had his surgery. Post surgery: My Tabby was neutered on Friday February 3, 2023. Dropped him off at 8:00 A.M. it was a smooth check in. I picked him up at 3:00 P.M instructions given clearly. That same evening my cat was in excellent spirits and was just as though he hadn't left home. Today, five days post surgery, he is doing excellently. Thank you 4Paws. Update. Took my Tabby cat, almost one year old to have his claws trimmed. Thomas at 4 Paws said he did very well and that he was a sweet boy. Lovely. We'll be back.

4 paws was able to get us in same day right after the holidays without paying for an urgent care fee. The vet and tech were very professional and super knowledgeable! My dog had a UTI and they had a urinalysis done within 20 minutes. So thankful for the staff and flexibility! Prices are reasonable, especially for same day services! The facility is clean and the staff is super friendly. Would definitely recommend.

Dr. Christina Kulage was able to squeeze my poor baby in for an appointment in her busy schedule to see my cat for an injury he got being outdoors. Even though he was a spicy kitty, she treated him like he was a sweet baby. The prices were more affordable than the quotes I received elsewhere. I will be taking him back here going forward. We had a great experience here! My poor fur baby had been suffering with diarrhea for a few days, and it hadn't cleared up. I was getting worried and decided to schedule a vet visit. I called all around town, and 4 Paws had a cancelation that day, so they were able to squeeze us in. Antibiotics and a steroid shot cleared up my baby's issues. Everyone was really sweet, and the visit didn't cost an arm and a leg either. We will be going here again if my pup needs anymore medical care!

They are so good with our animals and they always call to check in on their patients. It's that kind of dedication and courtesy as to why I highly recommend this vet hospital. However, they still have a recording talking about their phones not working still and that is frustrating as well as them always being out of printer ink when printing receipts...

I have an 11 year old dog with a heart condition. His whole life he’s been terrified of the vets office, until we found this place about a year ago! Now when we pull up, he’s trying to jump out of the car because he’s so excited! Everyone we’ve interacted with there has been so nice and understanding and really go out of their way to give him the attention he needs. If you’re looking for a reasonably priced vet that cares, this is the place for you and your pet.

Loved this place. Brought a dog I’m fostering there for a spay and shots. I’ve had dogs for many years and seen many vets from big city to tiny towns and I’ve never seen a surgery performed so cleanly. The only problem I have with 4 Paws is that they aren’t in Santa Fe so I had to travel to Albuquerque for the visit. Sure wish they’d open a local site inn Santa Fe. FYI, they also support the K9 community buy working with rescues to ensure transitioning dogs are happy and healthy. Support this business!

My dog had been bitten in the face by a rattle snake, and his face was so swollen they took him in right away, and they were so good to him and myself. Everyone who worked their was so kind and helpful. Their was no one at any time that walked by us, no matter how busy they got without making us feel like we belonged their. Even after we left, they called every couple of hours just to let us know how he was and if there was any changes or concerns. Our dog loved them. They all ask if we have any question and made sure that we were all on the same page before we left. They are awesome and I recommend them to anyone. 100%, thank you! You saved my dogs life. They even called and checked up on him later.

Took my lil basset hound here and they were all so wonderful to him! I’ve been to a couple different vets in the last year, looking for one that was affordable, professional, and kind. This is the one! They were even able to get me in the next day. Thank you for all your help.

4 Paws is great! We have a senior doggie that needed his vaccinations and blood work done. His vet made recommendations and explained why, which we really appreciated. The staff is very friendly and professional and their prices are very reasonable. I’m happy our little guy is in good hands and we found a great vet!

These guys are absolutely amazing. I am traveling and I had an emergency situation and they were able to get my dog in right away, and they were so truly helpful, and really went to bat for her and got her all fixed up, and got me everything I needed. They were so affordable, so helpful and so kind and I am just so thankful to you guys for everything. And not only that, they were even going to get her in for a health evaluation because I was going to be flying on short notice, and honestly, we just could not have had a better experience. I cannot recommend these guys enough for your pet, truly awesome. Thank you guys again.

Incredibly pleased with the service! I have brought both of my dogs on two separate occasions and have seen two different veterinarians who were both fantastic. This was one of the only vets in ABQ that was able to get my dogs seen quickly. I thought the prices were reasonable as well. Would recommend!

I had taken my 5 month old puppy here when he got very sick one day, the clinic took all necessary precautions to ensure he did not infect any other animals while there and it was nice to see them care so much.. even though somehow I felt a little offended when the clipboard I used came flying out the front door getting heavily sprayed with some kind of disinfectant even the workers sprayed themselves down with this stuff I sort of felt like we had the zombie virus or something haha lol I do know it was all for good though so no worries :) I recently took my 5 year old doggo here because he may need a surgery, the staff and Vet have been very kind and helpful through both of my dog's visits here. There's no other place I would trust with my dogs healthcare at this point!! They also work with Thrive pet insurance which is totally affordable, I got it for both my dogs and it greatly discounts the price of their care at the Vet. I highly recommend this Veterinary Hospital!! My dogs said they love Mr. Vet :)
