First of all it took 5 months for me to finally get my appointment. Then it was rescheduled twice. I finally met with the provider, she was actually very nice, kind and professional. I schedule my procedure (injection) for 2 weeks later because my insurance had to approve first. It gets approved and then the appointment gets cancelled and then cancelled again. Finally after 3 cancellations and major attitude from the staff that called me to cancel/reschedule, I have the procedure done. I'm still confused as to why I was treated so poorly when they were the ones cancelling on me! I had to arrange a ride so many times I almost was going to cancel the procedure all together due to the stress, pain and suffering it caused. Everyone was nice pre and post opp. It has now been a month since my injection and my post opp appointment has been rescheduled twice!! This has been the most frustrating and disappointing experience I have ever had. Patients are suffering as a result of lack of responsibility this office, staff and providers take. It is a shame. It's like they are running a "puppy mill." Emphasis seems to be quantity and not quality. I can almost bet their is some insurance fraud being committed. Shame shame shame shame on you Pres Pain and Spine. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy

I was accused of giving a bad review ( I hadn't but I am now). Firstly, wow! What kind of psycho makes an insinuation/statement like that to a patient?! I was then told that it wasn't wise to give a bad review of the person doing the injection in my spine. That's an outright threat. There needs to be some accountability here. I'm sure this facility has had multiple complaints regarding this particular practitioner. Avoid this place. I am pursuing further action.

Joann Greer you ma’am are a terrible doctor!!! To dismiss me because I’m 30 and you believe my pain isn’t bad?!? To tell me to just “deal” is not only unprofessional in the worst way but just plan nasty!!! When I try to explain to you my pain is bad enough that it’s hard to hold my daughter and you shrug me off and say well exercise more well that would be great if I was able to move more to not offer any help or advise except to say pain happens just deal is awful and I will NEVER EVER go to Presbyterian pain and spine in Albuquerque again because of you Joann Greer furthermore I will NEVER recommend anyone to you EVER!!!!! If I could give less then a star trust me I would!!

How are there even bad reviews for this place? I just had the most positive and calming experience this morning. I was greeted and welcomed by the friendliest staff. The nurses all jumped in immediately to comfort me and make sure I was taken care of. I met everyone that would be working with me during the procedure. All techs, nurses, Dr's were beyond amazing, informational, caring and comforting. Dr.Ray was extremely nice and explained everything to me and kept checking to see if I was doing okay, this was before my procedure! During, they kept reassuring me how things were going and asking how I was feeling. After, I still received the same care and respect. I came in to my appointment terrified and extremely nervous and they immediately made that all go away! I wish I could say more of my experiences with doctors and nurses have ever gone this well. I can't thank the staff at this department enough!

I asked the nurse practitioner if they will treat my back problems and was told that this is just a "BAND-AID" and that I do not want to have back surgery. The shots (3 times) did nothing at all. Physical Therapy made the pain worse. The only time I could see an M.D. was for the shots, otherwise it is all C.N.P's. This was the second time here and absolutely no relief at all and still excruciating pain continues. Very Disappointing!!!

Giving this clinic any stars is being generous but the system requires at least one so: I have been a long time patient of Presby and know they pride themselves on offering a high standard of customer care BUT that's not the case for the pain and spine clinic. I have been trying to make an appointment for two weeks and have been met with intentional, management driven obstacles every time I called. I have a referral and yet in never seems to reach the computer system to be acted on. The one sided conversations with employees offers no solutions. You have to ask the right question to pry a response, they will offer no assistance or solutions. For example, I made it clear from the first contact that I had the referral in front of me. You'd think they would say, "please fax it in" but that's not the case. I had to ask can I fax it in, So I faxed and called. Was then told to wait three or four days for the fax to be inputted into the system. I called back three days later, still not there. Plus the staff is insistent the referral be accompanied by the patients medial records. Today I got the assister to admit they don't want to see patients due to COVID. Well golly gee whiz, just post that on the website and save us all the hassle of frustration of dealing with a non-performing clinic so you don't have to see patients.

I have been seeing one of the pain management doctors, Doctor P., since 2009 when he was in private practice. This was before he joined this group, but I have been getting regular injections from him. His P.A. is very caring and listens to my questions and complaints. She always provided answers that were clear and helpful. She is awesome. I have always had a good experience with the staff, doctors and nurses. I will continue to seek treatment there and continue to get my injections, as long as I need them. I definitely would recommend them to anyone who has serious back and neck issues and chronic pain. Now, the billing dept. is a whole other issue...

I've been seeing Dr's at Pres. pain and spine since 2011 and have never had a bad visit. Eliezer Pangan is a wonderful provider and as for Dr Zuniga he's very caring and as for the rest of the staff they are also great.i always get great and immediate care

Restored my life ten years ago after one year of being home bound in severe pain. I've been receiving treatments 4 times a year since then. Staff & Doctors have always been very professional & caring. Highly recommend NM Pain & Spine.

What the provider I had previous to the one I have now. She was great. She did what she said she was going to. She scheduled the appointments without having the extra appointment that wasn't needed to schedule the actual injection. With the provider I have now she didn't listen to the previous provider or me about the scheduling and when I should get the injections which is every 3 months. But they instead schedule another appointment to make the injection appointment on my 3-month mark. So now I have to wait 6 months between injections and now I'm in severe pain

I am a 71 year old man. Went to the clinic a couple of weeks ago a was seen by a PA not an actual Doctor. She set up a MBB test to see if a RF treatment would work for my chronic pain from sponddyylosis in my neck. I was treated like a common drug addict. I thought she was rude because I ask for something to help before they could figure out a non drug treatment to control my chronic pain.This place is so unorganized and rude!!!! I have to say the Doctor that gave the procedure was good and a nice man.
