So last night we took my brother and her wife who were visiting us from England for a night life in Almere, we decided to grab a drink at Le Baron and it all started when we call the waitress so she could get our order. She came to our table looking all unfriendly with a yaa excuse me what do you want kinda attitude...(first we excused her as we spoke English and maybe she exepected Dutch) and we asked her why she was looking angry and unhappy to serve us... she said she didn't like the way she was called to our table...ooh well...we just wondered 🤔 what she meant and as one of us raised his hand and said lady we need a drink here...so we were like ok so let's start afresh...hi there can we get a drink, and she was like which drinks do you want, and the guys wanted a beer, a texel...and she was like no we don't have that, I can give you Heineken, and we said no...what's close to texel and she was like nothing really thats all we got ...we were like ok.give us options, looking all annoyed by our ask for options, she said the next bar maybe have the drinks you want.... we were then like girl you know what, let us get served by someone else and she was like but am serving you aren't I, and we said but you look like we are here to beg for drinks, we are customers at least be friendly and treat us kind, can we speak to your manager , she was like well I.am the manager...we like lady, what's your name because you are really rude to us and you have a nice place , we sure can speak to someone, and she was like I am not giving you my name...we really were upset because we were treated quite badly, so one of us went inside to look for someone to speak to...and she ran inside shouting to them not to speak to us or give her name...we didnt get help from.anyone...up.to now we are thinking is it some racist stunts to.piss us off or what....we were soo extremely disappointed, we took our bags and left. I am from Almere and this gave a bad taste to our visitors, if you give service to people you cannot segregate like that and we felt heavily segregated by this lady, and indeed if she is the manager, your choice of managers is worrying Le Baron....disappointed 😟 for days...

Food was good, though, one of the waitresses was very rude (we were there on Nov 6, 11:00), the one with sort of a brick face and wide shoulders. That is what ruined the whole impression. Another waitress on the bar (good looking one) was very nice to us

Cozy interior and good wraps, but random music. Not a fan of the bieterballen, dry colored buns, and plentiful but dry chicken nachos.

Nice place But a little bit overrated. By that I mean the price and the product quality is a bit off. Nice food, accept wine. So the wine bottle cost us 22 euros while the wine bottle was at Sligro 3 euros. Google it while you are there. We had white wine!

Located in the main restaurant street of Centrum, it's a good place to hangout. The service is a little slow but otherwise the beer options are great and the food is too.
