Good Ethiopian restaurant with tasty Injera and a big variety of dishes to choose from. The service is very friendly and helpful, and is happy to explain anything you might not understand, but the prices are on the higher side with around 20€ per person per dish.

Oh wow. This is a great restaurant. My wife and I have just had dinner here and we were blown away. We asked the owner to prepare a variety of things for us and surprise us. What we got was amazing. Such rich and varied flavours, multiple sorts of meat coupled with vegetarian things, it was just amazing. The owner took time to explain everything to us and the whole experience was so friendly, so hospitable, just great. And we were pleasantly surprised by the bill afterwards, we found the prices to be absolutely reasonable. We will definitely come back here !

We went on a Sunday evening and had an interesting experience. The host was very friendly, the place is not big but it was big enough..also very clean. We had to eat with our fingers so everybody had to wash our hands properly. The food took its proper time because it was prepared on the spot but I must warn everybody: It is really really SPICY HOT! Even the mild courses were hot and for those who love everything pikant, this is the perfect restaurant for you, otherwise it is really spicy and you need to drink a lot, which is okay. Our kids and us enjoyed the experience and we will never forget it.

Really tasty Ethiopian food. Really liked the way of eating with the hands and the pancake. Make sure to try the Tej.

Amazing food, great portions, the woman who cooked the food came to ask how it was which was really nice. Reasonably priced aswell. We're thinking about who we can take to this amazing place 👏

Wish I had discovered this restaurant sooner. What a great find in Amersfoort. Excellent food, including great vegan options. Great service. Wines by the glass were surprisingly good. I wish they had more soft surfaces - it’s very noisy, and it’s too bad they have no terrace seating. But otherwise highly recommend.

We were a bit hesitant because of the high scores, but definitely worth your money! It's a family restaurant and the passion the chef has shows through her cooking. It really was worth the drive from Rotterdam! Only sidenote: the "spicy" meat option for us was not spicy at all. So if you can handle your spice, don't expect it to be hot. But it's definitely flavourful!

Food was not great, ethiopian presentation but everything was bland. Too much injera.

My first time Ethiopian and what a wonderful experience. The food was amazing - freshly cooked, flavourful, authentic and just yummy. We were with 5 persons, came in very late, but were met with a hospitality you don’t often see. The lovely lady (who also cooks) had already sent home her staff, but nevertheless welcomed us and made our dinner fully by herself, seemingly without any effort. And what a meal. Feels like home-cooking, pure soul food. We’ll be back!! Highly highly recommend!!!

Nice location in the center of Amersfort Very polite and quick service is combined with outstanding cleanliness of the place We tried two dishes: set of meat-based stuff and vegetarian stuff, served with injera. Both dishes were very fresh and tasty and went smoothly with a bottle of cold Habesha beer. Despite the meat dish was spicy, it had a very smooth effect afterwards and a comfy feeling in the stomach. Highly recommended. 5/5

Very average. Food was ok-ish but not spectacular. Certainly not as good as I have had in other Ethiopian restaurants. A bit bland. Staff was friendly.

The food was good and specially served in an African way. The spices gives the food a different character. The staff were always smiling. Get ready that you need to eat with your hands! 😊

We've eaten Ethiopian food at numerous restaurants in Europe and the US and this one is excellent. All of the flavors are great, portions are generous, and the service is friendly. Our favorite dish is the alecha.

Wir sind da eher zufällig drüber gestolpert und spontan rein. Es passte einfach alles. Haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und sehr gut (vegan) gegessen.
