Had a beautiful Evensong performance in this rustic church with Voci Vocal Ensemble. We did Psalm 23 by Hylton Stewart, music by Byrd, Howells and Tallis. Fits well in the space here. Manager is very friendly and helpful. Afterwards we were allowed to have a nice drink in the beautiful garden of the church.

Ik ben bevooroordeeld. Mijn ouders zijn er bijna 70 jaar geleden getrouwd. Ik zit ook sinds zo'n 4 jaar op het koor 4U. Die ook bij de St Ansfridus kerk hoort. Ze staan oa bekend door hun eigen invulling van de Passion. Echt de moeite waard om er keer bij te zijn. Maar bedenk dan ook dat je er elk jaar bij wilt zijn😊 Tevens zing ik met 2 andere koren afwisselend met de Kerst in de St Ansfridus vooral tijdens de Kerststallen tentoonstelling die al jaren georganiseerd wordt. Er wordt ook elk jaar een boeken verkoop gehouden. Nu met Corona helaas niet. Een statige kerk die in ere wordt gehouden door de vaste kerkgangers. Ik voel me daar thuis en welkom. Elke kerk heeft naar mijn idee wel iets moois en warms. Gewoon een keer bezoeken
