Jede Woche bin ich geschäftlich in Holland unterwegs in einem anderen Van der Valk Hotel! Nun das erste mal im Amersfoort - A1 ! Zuerst waren wir auf der 5 Etage in einem Zimmer und mussten sofort bitten für einen Zimmer Wechsel! Dort waren 24 grad die Fenster dicht verschlossen und die Klimaanlage war gesperrt auf Ventilation ! Unfassbar ! Nach großer Reklamation hieß es sie sind ausgebucht als wir sagten wir gehen in ein anderes Hotel wurde plötzlich um 23:00 Uhr doch ein Zimmer frei ! Da war es deutlich kühler in der zweiten Etage ! Und nun kommt das dicke Ding ! Um 01:00 Uhr schalten sich alle Klimaanlagen im Sommer automatisch aus und werden erst um 06:00 Uhr wieder freigeschaltet! EINE HORROR NACHT ! Eine Anmaßung für die Van der Valk Hotels ! NIE MEHR AMERSFOORT A1 als ich morgens unser Anliegen erklärte, wurde uns nicht mal ein kostenloses Frühstück gewährt oder irgendeine Entschädigung !

Nice and neat business hotel next to A1 exit Amersfoort. Lunch normally ok but this time the Club sandwich was disappointing. Change of menu is highly recommended

The restuarant gastronom at the hotel was a huge let down, finished the main course before the sides arrived, waiters didn’t care and was more busy chatting with each other, despite being told it was missing several times, instead of getting hold of the kitchen as most people around the table was almost done eating. Eggs /bacon were stonecold for breakfast. It’s a shame the hotel itself looks nice.

Stayed in this hotels for two weekends in a row. The service at the bar is terrible with very slow service, making coffee and tea and then leaving it waiting before serving out. Apparently the manager is really not paying any attention to the staff and the customers. The service in the restaurant is a bit better but still below acceptable level. The rooms in the hotel are reasonable good. There is some or more leakage in the bathrooms at the radiator/heating causing brown rust water on the radiators. Room 114 was significant impacted, room 119 a bit less. The isolation to prevent hearing people in the corridor is too limited so there is some room for improvement over there as well. At the end of these two weekends, the conclusion is that we will skip this hotel for the future.

Wie beim ersten Aufenthalt letztes Jahr in einem Van der Valk Hotel wieder einmal begeistert. Früheres Einchecken vor der geplanten Zeit um 15 Uhr möglich. Nach einer kleinen Enttäuschung und dem Auffinden unseres vermeintlichen Zimmers,welches noch nicht gereinigt wurde und nicht ansatzweise so schön war,wie das neue Zimmer,das wir afg.der Reklamation für das andere bekommen haben,durchaus begeistert von der schnelle Klärung und Umsetzung. Top! Das letzte Zimmer auf dem Gang,so wie wir es uns gewünscht und angegeben habe,sehr ruhig und schön hell. Die Whirlpool-Badewanne genau richtig und groß genug um zu zweit dort zu entspannen. Ein beheizter Spiegel,Hausschuhe,freies Dusch-und Haarshampoo sowie die Minibar waren ebenfalls inklusive. Top! Die Reinigung der Zimmer ebenfalls gut. An Tagen,an denen man das "Bitte nicht Stören Schild" an die Tür gehängt hat,wurde einem ein Beutelchen mit frischen Handtüchern,Toilettenpapier und einigen Artikeln für die Minibar vor die Tür gestellt,toller Service! Das Frühstücksbuffet einmalig,da bekommt jeder,was er aich wünscht. Personal immer freundlich und zuvorkommend. Klasse. Wir waren begeistert von Anfang bis Ende und würde jederzeit wiederkommen!!!

Nice Hotel and very good restaurant. The food is very good. The service at the restaurant was really good. Our waiter Marco was very nice and helpful. Absolutely recommend!

Noelle Bos was the best. Charming and very helpful. We had a great meal at the Van der Valk Hotel! The place is centrally located and so it makes it the ideal place to explore Amersfoort.

Wanted to give a huge thank you to Jip de Jong, who was our waiter who went over and above to serve us, gave us information about where to go and local places in town to eat. He also made a reservation for us in the hotel restaurant from the Skybar, and made sure we were taken care of. Great example of quality service. Thank you Jip. Thankful client

We just have a dinner, soup came warm almost cold. The steaks we ordered was very tasteless, the iberico just takes like normal pork, the beef steak was also a bit too tough. Service was average due to that many staff on duty,

First time stay at a Van Der Valk hotel and was very much positively surprised Great location and superb parking , friendly and efficient staff, amazing breakfast and dinner and very comfy bed and powerful shower Definitely a hotel we will return to and highly recommend to anyone after a great hotel experience at great value for money

Stayed at this hotel for a festival and it was lovely. The fitness center was great. Special shout-out to Lisa at the front desk! She was absolutely wonderful and her customer service was excellent. Thanks Lisa for all of your help :)

The room we stayed in was clean, spacious, and well-furnished with modern amenities. The bed was comfortable and we had a great night's sleep. The bathroom was also clean and well-maintained

We checked in for a Festival. At the Check in it was not really clear to them what we need what we get an so on. Might be badly organized from the Festival but the Hostel should make sure as well to be ready. As well they really say everywhere that they are green and so but then first of all they take every time all the towels and as well the soap which we maybe used 2 times over a day. Every Day we had a new one which was definitely not needed! The breakfast was okay with fresh orange juice and as well someone who is doing eggs in different styles for you. Apart from that it was always the same. Rooms where okay. TV was a bit small and as well the cleaners didn't recognized for 4 days, that the washing soap was empty. Anyways for our stay total okay but definitely a lot to improve and as well I had much better Van der Valks.

This hotel is located in a great location in Amersfoort. Your with in seconds on the highway and in minutes down town or in 15 minutes with public transport. The room looked awesome yet they had a fancy climate control what was not a AC. What almost resulted in a bed swimming pool. Sleeping with 23 degrees C is a no-go. Tip for the IT team. Check all the TV because ours had glitches.

Van der Valk hotel’s never disappoint me, great value for money and always clean and tidy, with professional staff. The restaurant serves a good menus to a high standard. I’ll always look to boo with these guys when staying in the area. The hotel shop is good for those small things, the kiosk is easy to use and acutely works well.

Please note: this review is under different circumstances (a business meeting). The parking of the building is free for its guests which is a good first impression as its location doesn't offer a lot of public parking spots. However, after entering the garage you'll notice that there isn't much guidance by sign as to where you'll enter the building, or a welcoming interior (it will look as if you've reached the personnel parking zone). We've booked several rooms, reaching from standard same level floors to the premium gold 7th floor rooms, which all share the same issue: the screens aren't user friendly in terms of connectivity ready (you'll need to search for a HDMI cable in one of the drawers for example). The personnel at the reception is warm and welcoming, however, half the personnel on the 6th and 7th floor were rather to the point with no personal touch leaving you with a pitch in your stomach like you're bothering them with your presence (though again, in a meeting this could be favorable for say a meeting with a bad outcome). Conclusion: Overall experience is just fine, but I'd expect a little more work in the details for a 4 - star hotel.

That's a true welcome! The bathroom has a nice walk-in shower. If you're a loyal Valk member, you get a voucher for a free (alcoholic) beverage to be used in the restaurant, the coffee bar, or the hotel bar. That's a nice perk. Breakfast is quite extensive with several kinds of freshly baked breads. You can cut it yourself. There are also delicious cups of (fruit) yoghurt. And the chef can prepare a nice omelet to your own liking. All in all it's a very nice hotel next to the A1 motorway.

It has fluffy towels and even a wash cloth (I've never seen this at any other hotel). Breakfast is very extensive with all kinds of freshly baked breads. You can cut it yourself. There are also delicious cups of (fruit) yogurt. If you like a nice omelet, the chef will prepare one to your own liking. They also offer free parking. If you’re a loyal Valk member, you'll get a voucher for a free (alcoholic) beverage upon check-in to be used in the restaurant, the coffee bar, or the hotel bar. That’s a nice perk. Besides, you'll earn Valk credit for your stay. I definitely recommend this hotel if you're in the Amersfoort area. It's located right next to the A1 motorway.

A few days in Amersfoort. We flew in from New York, via a business day in London, to this unknown gem to us along the A1 in Amersfoort in order to have some R&R. Found the entire stay in a suite perfect, with an all-round top friendly staff and great food. Especially Lisa at the front desk went out of her way to make our welcome and stay excellent in all possible ways thinkable!!!
