Great place for a nice beer with perfect pub food!! Always packed with locals.. Try the ‘saté kippendijen’ or the burger, both delcious.

Excellent place next door to the famous cafe Van Zanten. Menu is shared between the pub and the restaurant which means it doesn't matter if you prefer to sit in the pub or in the restaurant or even outside, you can have the best of both worlds. Staff is always jovial and enjoyable and the cooks always deliver. A safe bet if you want people that have a variety of diets and that all expect to walk away satisfied.

The waiter forgot about our table, the chef forgot one of the dishes, and the chicken in the caesar salad was extremely salty. The rendang was great, and the place looks very cute, but service was an absolute chaos.

The phrase "a quaint little place" was made for this place. Except it's not really that quaint really. It just feels like it. Even when it's busy. This lovely place is "out of the way" yet deceptively close to the centre. On summers days it's quite busy, but still remains one of the greatest little bars to get a drink at.

Great place, good atmosphere, wonderful choice, the best little on in the whole of amersfoort, with a little to our of the city centre, your in a real local pub, the even have pub quizes and games, and the staff are Great fun, and cute. Enjoy the night out there and try the various beers on tap, my favourite is the porter.

My favourite bar in Amersfoort. Very large selection of beers and please ask for the two fridges where they keep beers that are not on the menu and they just buy a few off. Great way to go off the beaten beer track so to speak. Snacks are also decent and the portions are very generous. The staff is very friendly and are willing to answer any questions you might have or give recommendations. The place is always busy and the crowd tends to be a bit older and the room tends to be full of chatter. No music is played which gives an almost old fashioned cosey atmosphere.

A really nice, true locals hangout. You will find all walks of life here, getting together with a broad selection of nice bears and truly fantastic pub food.

This restaurant came up in a guide book we were using as we toured Amersfoort. The tomato soup was delicious, and hubby declared the onion soup to be just as good, if not better. Ham and cheese toastie finished the lunch quite nicely. Not far from Havik area.

I absolute love this place!! We were there a week ago and it was an amazing experience. The food was super good, the service was the best! Super friendly staff.. all of them.. nice beers, everything was perfect! I can just recommend this place.. it is a must!

Recently became my go-to place because of the meticulous thoughts on the menu and the customers. Wine was split in two glasses, in which such thoughtfulness cannot be found elsewhere in the Netherlands.

Seated 20min after our reservation. Then 15min til the waiter asked for our orders after that. Sadly poor front of house service. Hopefully it gets more training for improvement. Oh and here’s their glass of wine. What a pitiful amount. 🙄
