It's been a couple of years since i have eaten at this place but when i have the pizza has been great. It reminds me of my favourite pizza joint in Montreal called Pompei's. I had been going there since i was a kid. Unfortunately they closed for good in the 90's & i have been looking for something similar ever since & finally found it at Bambino's. Pompei's was similar in the order of ingredients as well; dough, sauce, mushrooms, pepperoni & green pepper all hidden under the cheese. A work of art. I don't know why the one review complained about the order of ingredients. I'm now living in Dartmouth & will have to make another trip to Bambino's soon.

Who on earth builds a pizza in this order dough - sauce - pepperoni then the cheese. All the toppings just slide off the crust. Add to this I requested my pepperoni be cooked well. How does one do that with them buried under cheese!! Why is it so hard for restaurants to follow customers requests. Delivery lady was nice tho. Chatting with her was a more rewarding experience then eating the pizza..

Passing through town and felt like pizza for a change from seafood. Not sure why this place has such a great rating. The pizza was doughy and average at best, not many toppings and not much cheese. Very bland and tasteless. The salad was good but it's hard to mess up a salad. Service was fast and friendly and the order was on time. There must not be many pizza choices in this town.

Absolutely amazing!! Service, staff, food and prices are on point!! Will do the hour drive to be back again soon!!

Rolled into town from Ontario (boo hiss) and Freddie's closed (it was 9 pm ?? Website says 11) so headed down here . Busy place. Excellent pizza !!! Just fantastic ! Hot and loaded with stuff !!! Love the old railway station too Great pizza 🍕 BUY BUY BUY

Dough is as tough as rubber!! Got 1/2 Hawaiian 1/2 meat, one piece was forgot?? One piece of pepperoni and cheese. Will not buy again.

We've never been here but glad we picked Bambinos. Small place, seems to be mostly takeout but we ate in. The food is fresh and homemade tasting. It was so fast and the price was so reasonable. Cheeseburger platter with fries and coleslaw and a panzerotti, the crust was so good..we shared both. Bathroom is clean. Staff are friendly and the place was super busy with people picking up dinner and pizza for take out. I see why. I'd come back here for sure.

Got bambinos based on the reviews, and I love to try new local..non chain restaurants. We had take out, the all meat pizza (added pinnaple) was amazing. Real pieces of bacon, crispy and delicious. We also ordered a medium donair..it was ok..the meat was good but the crust was very crunchy and almost impossible or cut and eat. Overall it was ok. The southwest chicken burger was good...not spicy at all, it was small..nothing special. The garlic cheese fingers.. was totally misleading. I'm not sure what we ended up with... it looked like a panzerotti but inside was a hunk of cheese and garlic butter.. it was dripping in grease. Disappointing. I googled the menu so it didn't have full description. My opinion is stick with the pizza! Very tasty.

I ordered a large pizza cooked well done and I was thinking it was a bit pricey compared to Halifax. I was wrong. One of the best pizzas I have ever eaten. Cooked perfectly and a thick solid crust as I prefer. The sauce was absolutely delicious! Also delivered steaming hot! ( note: the Photo was about an hour after eating all I could) So worth the phone call! Thank you!

Really good pizza. It is artisan style with a good crust. I had a vegetarian pizza and it was very tasty. Also ordered the cheese garlic toast, the flavor was good but I would recommend a better quality bread instead of the sliced sandwich bread.

Buys stuff from other stores to resell at their restaurant, and they’re super disrespectful to the staff at other stores. Would not recommend restaurant due to them disrespecting other retail workers

Ordered 2pc fish & onion rings and 1pc fish & chips, (fish was very greasi, fries were soggy, onion rings rubby, wasted my money

Customer service is great and the do air poutine was amazing, I just wished that the slices of pizza would have been put into the oven again to crisp and heat up. The dining room was full but saying that their is only like 6 tables. I will be back fooooor sure!

Nice place. Really good food. Not a place to eat in but there is room but not much. It is best to order ahead then you don't have to wait.

Food was okay...I was expecting a donair on a pita not a Donair pizza. Really doughy not much flavour. Sauce with fried pickles was very bland.

Pizza was okay. The middle was very doughy and undercooked, but the outside was nicely crispy. Not burnt or overly greasy. Looks like they used fresh ingredients. But I would say overpriced. $20 for a 12" hawaiian pizza, ouf

The lady’s offerd me a calzone with turkey’s, cheese and gravy. I seared i was totally ready for the trial. HO MY GOOD !!! this Calzone is awesome. Too bad i am living in Montreal, a bit far to get another one’s. Bravo x3 I do recommend it.

Located at an interesting spot inside the Amherst VIA train station. It was quite busy for a Wednesday afternoon. We ordered the 18 inch Hawaiian pizza to go. It had large pieces of ham and bacon strips like you see with breakfast. It was tasty although the crust was a bit doughy. Not sure if a thin crust is an option but we will make sure to ask next time we visit.

This place is a gem.. great value great food.. it takes a little long if your in a hurry, but if not.. it's the best taste in town
