Definetly my favourite place in Amiens. It is nice cozy place in city centre. The paths are narrow and surronded by water from both sides which remind me of the swamps scene in LOR movies.

Wer den Spreewald kennt braucht nicht hinzufahren. 45 min. geht die Fahrt. Auf den Inseln ist vieles verlassen. Nur sehr wenige gepflegte Grundstücke.

One of the best things we did in Amiens - a really unique experience, lots of wildlife including a kingfisher! The guide speaks in French (we don't) but this didn't detract from the experience - and our guide was kind enough to give us a few English tidbits.

When in Amiens this attraction is well worth forty minutes of your time. A peaceful, quiet and relaxing journey along the narrow waterways in a small boat.

So if you are going to visit and want to enjoy the boat tour, you had better to hurry. I couldn’t find any website for the ticket purchase, so I had to visit to buy tickets, and unfortunately, I couldn’t buy them because it was sold out already. I had no option but taking a walk instead of taking a boat tour.

Super visit with a very good boat driver. The commentary is in French, but he was happy to field questions from us 2 English interlopers. Boats hold about 12 or 13 and would recommend booking in advance. Lovely scenery, even though we could only understand snippets of the talk, it was still very good value and highly recommended. There was a very informative leaflet in English supplied. Merci!

Tranquil canal voyage around the beautiful gardens and vegetable farms of Amien, a stone throw away from the bustling historical centre

Wonderful and amazing place in the center of Amiens. It seems that you are in a small delta of Danube river.

The boat trip was fine, although commentary was only in the French language. Gardens were a disappointment. Wild bits are totally unmanaged, meaning mainly stinging nettles and stagnant water. Lots of blocked off channels marked as private. Predominantly small privately owned shacks/huts, the majority of these are unkempt or derelict. There is no access to the public. No car park, no access for disabled. There is a toilet.

Lovely short boat ride around the canals surrounded by water gardens. The explanations are in French only. Kid friendly activity.

We are from the UK and absolutely loved it! You will not be disappointed even though it's a French commentary you can just appreciate the beautiful scenery and winding canal around some amazing homes and gardens and wildlife...very peaceful and easy to find and really responsibly priced! Fascinating trip, gardens and wildlife, never seen so many fish in the crystal clear water, kingfishers everywhere, beautiful gardens. Guide was super friendly, tour was mostly in french but took the time to explain main points in English. Gliding along in a large punt with a quiet electric engine, bliss!

It's a small place to explore by boat (although much bigger if one looks at the map). The boat trips are well organised and electric boats are used, which makes it quiet and smooth. French only, as I gathered. Well organised and not expensive, 10 EUR per person.

Wonderful sight that offers a unique boat trip through canals and the rich plant life and flora of the area. Also perfect for a walk. For those more adventurous, activities like kayaking and zipline (flying fox) are available.
