Absolutely a delight, friendly and professional. Rarely can one find a 4* with a view of the largest cathedral in France, to die for , plus a large terrace for eating out or sunbathing, and the price is less $275/ night. Also not common at 4* hotels in France, Mercure offers free espressos, teas at all hours. Within 1 mile from the hotel, there is lots of shopping, the house of the famous Jules Verne. Visited in April

Gorgeous hotel that is very comfortable to sleep in. Beds are soft, bathrooms cleaned. Great views. A great front desk staff and bar staff. Breakfast was great as well and their dinners.

It’s my 5th stay at this hotel and they never disappoint. The room are specious and clean. I love the tea in the rooms, it’s really good quality. The breakfast is tasty, a little bit of everything I’d say. The receptionist are always happy to help, and answer the questions you might have. I’m sure I’ll choose Mercure again when I come for the next business trip to Amiens.

The hotel's location is spectacular, very close to the Notre Dame Cathedral from Amiens. We can see the Cathedral from the lobby.

Gorgeous hotel in the absolute center of Amiens. They really managed to make my stay pleasant even with the covid limitations. It's very clean, well equipped, the food is delicious, and the staff are super friendly. The room has a coffee machine and a kettle, and they had a large selection of tea and coffee in the lobby to pick up and enjoy in the room. With covid, all meals are in eaten in the room but room service is quick and the food is served hot. Breakfast includes an open buffet and a selection of pancakes, sausages, eggs, cheeses, bread, etc.. On non-covid days, there are plenty of restaurants, bakeries, and sights to see in walking distance. They also provide electric bikes to ride around the city. The Mercure hotel is very recommended if you plan on going to Amiens!

A view like no other. This room has the greatest view of the cathedral in the city. It’s on the 4th floor (5th US) and is huge (50+sm) with sweeping wraparound curved windows. We watched the cathedral light show from our bed. There are some curtain dividers to permit privacy if the room is used by 2+ other people. There is also a second half bath and full minibar. The main bathroom is very large and has both a tub and shower. But there are not enough hooks or hangers for anything. Also, there was only one place for a suitcase (no extra racks) and there were only 4 hangers in the closet. Breakfast was good but crowded due to some bus tourists.

The privilege room was quite nice, and included a fridge, kettle and lockbox. The bathroom was fully stocked with amenities and a hair dryer, and there were some comfortable bath robes in a spacious closet. The WiFi in the room was painfully slow though.

We booked this hotel in May 2023 for one night in July. Immediately after booking on their website, the money was deducted from my bank account. Unfortunately, we had to cancel our trip, due to a medical emergency. We notified the hotel and canceled the booking. All of this was confirmed by their automated system. Ever since then (beginning of July) I have been trying to reach a manager or person in charge that would help me with the refund. I have had numerous phone calls with the front desk, who is always promising me calls from the manager (a person that is literally NEVER around, no matter which day or time I am calling them). Last time I called, Dhouha promised me, she would take care of the matter – that was two weeks ago and again nothing has happened. Same with Aurelien who is new on the job and keeps promising me phone calls and emails from the management that never happen... Furthermore, I have sent in all necessary documentation such as bank statements and proof of the booking and deduction of the money three times, while being promised to be reimbursed. So, if you happen to go to Amiens, do yourself a favor and choose a different hotel, because this one is not staffed well and in case something goes wrong, nobody is going to help you resolve the issue and your money is lost, even if they claim otherwise.

That was an incredible experience, the hotel was super well located with a view on the Cathedral. The service was excellent, special thanks to Adam for making our experience so amazing! We will definitely come back :)

Location is fantastic, service was good. Large rooms but the lack of A/C was brutal. In other parts of the year likely a lot better. Leaving the window open was difficult with the hopping outdoor scene

Excellent hotel 100m from the beautiful cathedral. Check-in took longer than expected as the only receptionist was on the phone for a while which is why the service gets 4*. Rooms are not tiny as in other big cities, beds are comfortable and bathrooms clean. It's also close to shops, bars and restaurants.

We only stayed here one night but it was a wonderful experience. Our family room was on the top floor and was huge. It had a balcony which overlooked the cathedral and gave us a fantastic view of the sound and light show. The room had everything from coffee, to tea and complimentary cold drinks. The bathroom was very spacious and the bed extremely comfortable. We had no complaints whatsoever. As for the staff, they were amazing. Also a big thumbs up for the breakfast, which was fantastic. A great stay all round.

For a 4 star hotel and staying in a previlage room it is expected that there would be hanging hooks for at least 2 towels, a hand towel and possibly a bath mate. There was only one. The other had been ruled out of wall quiet some time ago by the looks of things. The bath would be expected to be filled by the bath spout, but no, it was not working and needed to use the hand held shower rose. You needed to hold that to fill the bath, otherwise the rose head would have a mind of it's own and could spray any where. We told front desk on 3 separate times and each time was told they'd tell the manager. We were there for 4 nights and nothing was done. The hotel location was good for restaurant selection and close to a parking station. I doubt I'd stay there again. The holiday in which we had previously stayed in had a better room all round

Room was comfortable and clean. Dinner room service of poor quality. Dinner was cold, no glass to drink, forgetting cuttlebones and having to wait further. I mention so that the hotel management team can take measures. Thanks

At 6:35 at reception I requested a taxi for 7:00 and was told it would be fine. At 07:10 the taxi still hadn't arrived, I went back to reception and was told I had to wait another 10 minutes. Total disinterest in customer comfort and satisfaction. The taxi arrived at 7:20.
