This hotel received quite low reviews because some of the facilities are old and the toilets in the room make a lot of noise. But everything is very clean, beds are good, and staff is friendly and let us use the garage for longer. It is in a great location, the building has charme! Beautiful glass windows in breakfast room. Recommend if you have a tight budget!

After a pleasant welcome, sadly this Hotel far from met with my expectations. For a 2 star it was poor. I have stayed at far better 2 star Hotels. The stair carpets were in a terrible state, our quilt (inside the cover) felt like it was about 10 years old. And as there are staff/family who appear to lodge here out back i suggest you buy an external kitchen extractor as when they are cooking, the smells don't contaminate the rest of the Hotel. Also the makeshift en suite had and open top (no roof) loo so that when you were pooping it gave you a real 3D effect, not pleasant! The only saving grace is the children/teenagers who were in the lobby when we arrived, again whom i assume are something to do with the Hotel as they were hanging about, were actually quite lovey. Extremely polite and helpful, for which i am grateful. Good luck with your Hotel, i wish you well but won't be back in a hurry. The lovely window and radiator which i have posted pics of give you an insight as to how beautiful i imagine this property would have been once apon a time.

The room we had was cheap but a bit outdated. Shower is literally installed in the room.Toilet is in the hall. I guess other rooms would have more comfort. Breakfast and the room itself was superb and service as well. Big plus was the garage for the guests where we could put our bikes. And the hotel is in the centre of the town.

There is no lift, only stairs. So if you are old or have problems of mobility this hotel is not good for you. You would have to carry your luggage up the stairs which are not wide and use the toilet in the middle floor, which is not convenient. I almost fell because of the carpet. I suggest to wear earplugs not to hear any sound otherwise you'll hear the water of your neighbor having a shower. No kidding. One star for the cleaner and the other for the kind receptionist. I should also give one for the comfortable bed and the hotel style, which uses old locks and design but again the stairs need some attention because they are kind of dangerous.

Perfect for us. Very close to the cathedral (fabulous light show at 1900 hours) parking for a few cars, beautiful stained glass windows on first floor. But note that it is a two star hotel and no pretentions.

Great location. Rooms very small with shared toilet. Great for city trips, if you don't stay too long.

A shame. It should be called pension and never hotel. The girl at the recepcion was very nice and helpful but the building, rooms are tiny, old, really old and lacking of any maintenance

Nice staff, breakfast is good. The hotel is situated in the centre if Amiens and has most of the city in walking distance.

Very basic hotel (youth hostel) noisy and needs some attention. On the plus side it is in an excellent location.

our room was on the third floor and with 4 luggages and not elevator, it was complicated to get them upstairs. Plus, it was so hot in the room that we didn’t sleep well. We couldn’t open the window as a dog was barking all night at our window. Plus, we were told there was a free parking. However, we found out we had to book it in advance and that it was not accessible after 7:00pm

I like staying here. An older hotel, it's a little basic, and you must climb stairs, but I like the service and atmosphere. My room had a refrigerator (didn't get that at Ibis for more than twice the price). Very clean, good bed and linen. Breakfast is your basic French offerings. At the bargain price, it's great value. I have paid more to stay in much worse places.

Read about stairs!! Room on 4th floor, many steep steps not good with bad knee and geriatric dog. Reception closed on Sunday afternoon, position is good for town centre

The hotel was ok, I wasn’t worried about the shared bathroom until a man was staring at me from his room while I walked to the bathroom. Then he knocked on my door and asked me to come to his room and when I said no he wouldn’t stop knocking for about an hour. So maybe pass if you’re a woman traveling alone !
