Amazing vegan place, very unique and welcoming. Since it is a small business you can see the love and the time they take to explain you dishes and share their story while cooking! Definitely a nice place for vegan and who else curious about Italian and Romanian food! Portion and price are amazing and the owners were 🤩

The place that just feels like home. 🤍 Thank you Sara for always being an incredible voice for the animals of Jordan and what better way to do that an by showing people how to be kind and leave animals off their plate for a meal! Rest assured with an incredible atmosphere, and friendly faces you will feel right at home! On to the food, I have never had anything here that I didn’t like. Additionally when they say the portions are large TRUST them you can easily go for a meal and get two meals out of nearly anything you order. Hands down would recommend if you are even in Amman! Definitely stop by and try the first fully vegan restaurant in the city.

This place is great if you love vegan food, or cats, or just amazing food in general. Do yourself a favor and go here even if you aren’t vegan, the food is incredible and all made fresh with lots of love and care. And as a bonus, a huge percentage of the money is going to help stray cats and other animals. You may see a few cute kittens peek inside while you’re eating.

Very small and cozy vegan restaurant nearby touristic rainbow street. I was unlucky that I did not meet Sara here as she was enjoying her vacation abroad during that time. Her mum took over in a meantime. I felt welcomed here. Sara's mum was very nice and the food was delicious. I enjoyed staying here for a longer time as there were not many people during the wintertime. The only downside was the price, as I paid 14 JD for soup and shawarma. Not sure why it was this expensive, but because Sara was not here I did not talk it through with her.

A special place in Amman in many ways! If you are looking for a restaurant with vegan homemade comfort food, sugar free treats and place full of story - this has to be on your to visit list. Saras vision is inspiring, her Team and her put a lot of effort in the menu and in their work as an activist . Please visit when you are in Jordan , if you are vegan or not . Its just worth it ! 🧡

As a Jordanian, I was shocked to find this in Downtown Amman. I am lactose and gluten intolerant, and I have always struggled to find affordable vegan options and food here in Amman. Sara is one of the most inspiring people I have met, and the staff there are so friendly. It is a pet friendly place, free of plastic, everything on the menu is vegan and sugar free, with gluten free options available. I have been to many vegan restaurants or spots in Berlin, Köln, the UK and Turkey.. Suffice to say, this was the best vegan meal I have had so far.. I’m grateful I found Bayt Sara, and that I now know about the great impact they’re having on the environment 🍃, the local strays here in Jordan 🐈 🐕 and most importantly the help they try to provide for Syrian refugees.. It’s inspiring to see someone as passionate as they are. The food they make is made with love ❤️ Excited to come back here more frequently. Special thanks to Sara for serving a special new item on the menu, banana bread, topped with vegan chocolate pudding and cocoa nib ice cream on the side. I savored every single bite

I discovered this place by accident and glad I did. It's one of the only total vegan places in Jordan and everything is home cooked and fresh (no processed food). The atmosphere is cosy and intimate, with an interesting decor and chilled vibe. I had a veggie shawarma and it was absolutely amazing! The portions are huge too. Vegan, Veggie or not - if you are in Amman this place is worth a visit. It's near the lively Al Rainbow street and in a cool area with lots to do and see.

The food was all very good. Foods from all different cultures where the chef comes from. We had amazing Romanian crepes with tomato sauce, tofu zinger and lasagna. The lasagna had the perfect Bolognese taste. The restaurant has a very good vibe and part of the income goes to savings and helping cats 😺. Also they played good music. Sara, the chef, is very sweet

We’ve eaten here dozens of times and love to have a home cooked meal with huge delicious portions. I also love the Jordanian dishes turned vegan and also classic Romanian dishes to try. Come for the food but stay for all the good conversation and hospitality!

Great little vegan eatery in Amman. Definitely check it out when you're in town. We had a delicious Ghoulash and a kind of burger with a freshly made patty from Bulgur that was really good. And to top it off an enormous slice of moist chocolate cake. There are also a lot of cats which is fun. Part of the proceedings go to taking care of the cats as well as humanitarian aid.

Had a delicious meal made by Sara which included complementary water, tea, and even some milkshake to try! I had the zinger, which was so tasty and a really generous portion. Had to take the chocolate cake with me because I was so stuffed! The atmosphere was lovely, Sara was really kind and I'm a big fan of all the cats. Go support her if you're in Amman!

Not only was the food homemade with love, delicious, and 100% vegan, the whole story behind the place is awesome. Sara uses half of the profits to help street cats who need medical assistance, and with spaying/neutering. Sara is passionate and caring, and you can tell in every detail of her restaurant. Portions are also large. We were lucky to find it!

Dear Sara, In love. We are in love with your foods, your cats, and your passions for vegan food and animal rights. She gave us great tips for where to stay around Jordan. Without her, our trip would not have been what it was. Among many unforgettable moments in Jordan, Sara made our first one extra special.

This restaurant was so delicious. The owner is a delight and has so many passionate causes that she funds, especially helping the stray cats of Amman and the animals of Petra. The food menu offered a variety of cuisines and everything we had was amazing. Vegans and non vegans loved all of the flavorful food we got.

This was my first time at Bayt Sara, and on her menu was a vegan shawarma, which I decided to try, and it was delicious! It was a huge portion of food as well. She also had a chocolate cake that was made without sugar, and it was a nice treat. I did not feel guilty after eating this when compared to a cake filled with sugar, and it was just as good!

Really good quality - all options sounded great, but the plate sizes were large as Sara said so I’m happy I chose one (with tofu) and the melon juice and chocolate cake. I forgot photos of food but I did take photos of Garfield the cat and the mango stairs which are just nearby.

Absolutely one of the best vegan food that I ever had while travelling! The food is incredible, all handmade and 100% vegan and cruelty free! It is the first 100% vegan restaurant in Jordan!🌱💚🥰😋🤤 Sara is just the most welcoming, friendly, kind, compassionate, empathic and ethical human! She made us feel so welcome and treated us so well! We absolutely love everything about her cafe, great taste in music, incredible smell, peaceful a environment, great energy and amazing kind people and costumer service! The food is just soooo tasty and delicious, all handmade from tofu to the vegan mayo, she makes all herself! Additionally, she is an animal rights actvist, being a huge voice for all animals species in Jordan! She is organising the first raising awareness for animals rights in Jordan, plus she organised the first vegan event in Jordan happing in July! She also helps over 100 cats living in the smear by streets! She is just such a wonderful soul and human being making a difference in this world! We felt very lucky in meeting her! 🥹💚 We ordered the ‘Vegan Zinger’ (absolutely my favourite) which is crispy homemade tofu with green salad, tomatoes, and the best vegan garlic mayo that she makes all herself, this was all mind blowing and I could eat it everyday in my life! We also ordered the ‘Vegan Shawerma’, which is soya bean based “chicken” flavoured, wrapped in Sharla bread, with homemade mayo, plus side of pickles. Also, we had ‘Vegan Meat Balls with Green Peas, which are homemadd soya “meatballs” in read sauce with Romanian sautee greens peas recipes! To drink we had ‘Vegan Milkshake’ sugar free very natural and delicious, we ordered the strawberries and banana, it was so good! All food were absolutely delicious and the prices are great, as I they are very large portion!🤤😋🌱💚👏🏻 Bayt Sara is in the right of the heart of the Rainbow Street in Amman with lovely street for walks and nice shops, bars and places to take nice photographs. We cannot wait to be back to Amman and Bayt Sara is a must to visit while you are in Amman, Jordan!

Bayt Sara is not just a restaurant or a cafe it's like an oasis in Amman. I had the best soup and vegan shawarma. Super delicious food and great portions as well. The coffee with almond milk hit the right spot. Super cosy inside, the people working here are very friendly and the cats roaming around outside are the cutest added bonus. And they also have good wifi for studying/ working. Definitely will come back as often as possible. Thank you Sara and Sami! See you again soon

Loved the atmosphere, food, and ethos behind Bayt Sara. Portions were generous, prices were reasonable, and the shawarma was delicious. The restaurant supports 160 of the stray cats in the area and also provides support to charities and runs activist events. Thoroughly recommend stopping here to enjoy some plant-based food.

We stayed in Amman for a night and my partner and I chose this restaurant because we are both vegetarian. After visit there I was super impressed! Sara our host welcomed us very warmly, explained what’s on the menu and a little bit about her restaurant, Amman/Jordan and her self. 1st fully Vegan restaurant in Jordan, food was incredible and portions were huge! Sara is an activist who rescues stray cat, feeds them, gets them vaccinated and finds them home. She is a Mom of over 100 cats! All tips are going towards donation for animals. Visit at this restaurant was a superb experience. Food 11/10, atmosphere beyond expectations! Thank you so much Sara 🙏🏻

Bayt Sara - vegan food restaurant! It's a family restaurant, small and intimate and very cosy...after one hour I felt like I was there for many times because the food and especially the person who was preparing the food was very friendly. A very good place to stay for the vegan food and to have a quality time with your friends or if you are alone you can speak to the person who prepares the food. She/he are very good hosts and very friendly! I suggest you to try the vegan food and they're hospitality! You will not regret it! I know I didn't! I spend there more then 3 hours...

Lucky to have Sara and her brother Samir's vegan restaurant here in the ocean of meat that is Amman's restaurant scene. A nice place to come if you've OD'd on shawarma's and mana'uiche or if you're vegan of course. A tasty supper with Samir running it this evening and had a tasty vegan meatballs with peas and lemon tea (glass straw of course). Took a box and table outside to be able to sit on the pavement which was very enjoyable. Keep going!
