👍 A small local business worth supporting! They serve delicious Kaek and Manakesh, perfect for a quick breakfast. The service might be slow, but it's because they bake it fresh, which is definitely worth the wait. It's a great place, though the staff could be more friendly and at least smile more. Nuwar is one of the best bakeries in Amman. It is located in a very vital street in Al-Weibdeh. They make fresh K’aek and a great variety of Mana’eesh. I tried za’atar with white cheese, labaneh with veggies, and muhamara mana’eesh. Also, I tried one of their pizzas (can’t recall what kind). The dough is fresh, thin, and crusted. They all tasted great, especially the za’atar one. They offer tea with mint and it is self-service. As it is a small bakery shop, you will find a couple of small tables and stools on the pavement so you can sit and enjoy the man’aeesh over there or you just order and take them away. Whenever you are in Al-Weibdeh and you crave Mana’eesh or Ka’ek then you have to go to Nuwar and give it a try ❤️

Very friendly service and good value for money. Probably best for takeaways, as it is a small place. The food was great.

One of the best places to have some delicious and decent manaeesh and fresh Karl, friendly staff, fast to deliver. I recommend tea with it unless you are a fan of cold drinks.

You can’t get more simple than this perfect street side bakery. It’s an amazing little place .. and I hope it stays this way .. cozy and just right. The Ka’aek is perfect and baked right in front of you in a traditional oven. Ka’aek with eggs, cheese and za’atar is the most epic order of them all. It’s to die for. A must have amongst all other items. Nawra is perfect any time of day, especially on weekends for breakfast or a late night dinner or snack. Have it on the street by the sidewalk .. sit in the small chairs and enjoy a cup of tea with your food. Prices are very reasonable and the quality is great . I love this place. I recommend it. My choice 💋👌🏼.

Probably the best manakish (pastries) and sandwiches I have had in Amman. The ingredients were very fresh and the service was super quick. I came for breakfast one time and late at night another day, it was amazing in both times

I've had really bad experiences as a customer there. The employees are rude, and it has happened more than once. The food is good, but that doesn't make up for the bad service.

As many other restaurants in Amman, Nawwar had a good start but now the service is very bad.. very basic way to manage orders in the shop, i had to wait more than 40 minutes because the lady forgot to make my order and i had to remind her many times what i want inside the Kaak.. all this can be acceptable if there was respectful treatment, but the staff showed high ego and disrespect! Last time to eat there..

This is the best manageesh I’ve ever had. I’ve never had kaak before but this was a brilliant first experience. Goes down well with tea. The uncle taking the orders is very friendly and helpful too.

I could've ordered from Madison Square garden NY to Amman and received it earlier than Nuwwar staff could ever deliver 😑 with their 3000 years old hieroglyphic 𓀀𓀡𓁲ordering system!

Beware of the lack of hygiene protocols at the place. The lady who works here used the same gloves to assemble a kaak sandwich after she gave back change in coins and cash. She touched all the ingredients and stuffed the kaak with the same gloves. You can’t unsee it 🤢 And another thing that shocked me is that she threw the kaak into a microwave to heat it up without a plate. Why would a bakery even use a microwave? And why wouldn’t they put it on a plate? 👎🏼😷

Hatten eine frische sehr leckere Pizza Margherita für 2.5 JD, frisches Brot mit Nutella 1.5 JD und einen soliden Kaffee von nebenan (2.5 JD).

Worst service in Amman I would never go there, food is fine, everyone who works there has the most horrible attitude, especially the girl wearing a hijab, As a customer, I dont have to deal with someone not listening to me barely replying to me, and telling me that she cant take my order and not explaining why. I will be letting everyone know that and I will tell everyone not to go there. Ive been there 3 times every time the service gets worse and genuinely makes my day bad.

Discovered a hidden gem for fresh Kaek & Mannaeesh in Jabal Al-Luweibdeh. The food is delicious, and the prices are reasonable. However, it's important to note that there's no seating available; it's more of a grab-and-go spot. If you're looking for a quick and tasty breakfast on the move, it's worth a visit.

Food is good, but it doesn’t make for the utterly bad service. Manager even made us leave the table for other customers altho we sat down for 25 min including waiting on the food. I wasn’t even done with my tea!

Delicious and super affordable. Fresh and tasty. Super recommended. The tables are not clean, you better find another place to sit and enjoy your order.

Probably the worst service I've witnessed in Amman for a very long time. Very rude staff. Impolite and unpleasantly. It took almost 20min between the order and the moment the manakish were ready. The food was ok but definitely a place to avoid if you don't want to waste your time and get poorly treated.

Great traditional ka’ek sandwiches on the go. Takes too long to prepare food.

One of my favourite and best spot to grab freshly baked manaeesh in Weibdeh of Amman! I had the zaatar manaeesh which was delicious. Affordable and there were various manaeesh options to choose from. There were barely any seating though. Expect some waiting time when it’s busy!

I don't think I have tasted better Manaqeesh elsewhere in Amman! The only problem is they run out of dough pretty quick. I'm not exaggerating to say that half of the time they didn't have dough for Manaqeesh. Other than this, they're great!
