Chicken burger was delicious! The cocktails are good too. Unfortunately, we went on the hottest day, which was unbearable without airco 😫

Horrible, don’t recommend. The service was bad and we waited an hour and a half for our food which happened to be rank. My two friends threw up after eating!!! My chicken nuggets were not cooked and the fish was raw and so was the vegan burger. We had to reordered twice because they had nothing available. Lots of other people chose to leave the restaurant as well because they did not get served.

The place offers very cozy atmosphere & nice selection of beers & cocktails as well as balanced food menu! From cocktails list, the one named Summer of Matador is highly recommended (see the pic)

At this place you can recharge yourself with all kinds of beverages and food,, after a good shopping spree. They got quite a lot of items on the menu and good prices.

Service is good, food is good, staffs are polite and helpful.

We go there for a beer after our Dutch lessons every week... They have good choices of beer that you can try and the service is very quick.. it's full on all days so better to make a reservation!

Knowledgeable staff about their beers. Friendly and helpful. Good selection of beers. Wish they'd swap them out more frequently, think I've had all them at least twice now. 😂 Snack foods are great. Haven't had any actual food since they've changed the menu around. Miss the gumbo.

Cannot write about the food as we only dropped by for a drink on a Saturday afternoon. Staff was friendly, there was not crowd, the gin & tonic was well done and the Lagunitas, American IPA was good. The interior is classic Irish pub-like that is so famous around here. It is right in the center of Amstelveen, worth a visit if you are in the neighborhood!

I ordered the Chicken Saté skewers and it was absolutely AMAZING. The place is definitely a 5-star review. The staff was super friendly, the music and the environment were so pleasant. Will definitely come back!

My son loved the hamburger, but my daughter's cheese fondue had only a tiny bit of veggies and bread, so not much to enjoy, and my tuna steak smelled like it was a leftover from the fish shop. It's a great place for a beer though, just don't eat there.

A very nicely decorated and clean bar. The employees are very friendly and definitely make you feel welcome. They've got so many beers, cocktails and other drinks to choose from. What I liked as well is that on a Friday evening the music was not too loud, you could still talk normally to the other people at the table. I ate the vegan sate which I would not order again, but this could just be a personal taste thing. Wanna have a good night out? I would definitely recommend bar Dixie.

Shame they got the drink wrong. Pretty ok bar, nice interior. Ordered the same drink twice and definitely got a different drink the 2nd time. Negroni spagliato v Negroni. Staff insisted it was the same drink and when I offered for them to try it they only offered a 20% discount.

We went to here couple of time. Actually, service and waitresses were good until last time. Last time we sit table at outside which we always sit. And we wanted to open heater from her. She said “i can’t because you are only two person. But when your friends come here and after you are 4 person, ı can do.” But nobody do it and they asked us move to other table because they can open only one heater 😂 but the table fulled already. As a result the bar/workers want to you sit very close other customers for heating or go in the summer season 😂😂

Food was good and plenty :) and they had lot of options. i couldn't finish entire stuff :) Their nachos were also different from others .

It is a nice place to spend evening with friends. Interior is modern and pleasant, service is good. I ordered a Cesare salad and it was good, but didn't impress me.

Nice looking place but the food is just barely average. We came for lunch and the portions are big and generous though. The worst of this place is the pigeons: they are everywhere and the people working in this restaurant don't seem to be bothered a bit about the presence of these annoying and pestiferous animals.

Great selection of beer, i love ipa and they had many options to pick from. Their finger food was also good. The prices was great. 4 girls we had few mixed platters and had looots of beer and end up paying €40 each. They have heated outdoor space covered with large umbrellas. Also kid friendly.
