Playground

👍👍 Great local park! We often cycle over from Noord to take our 2 year old here. It has great play areas, swings, a big slide and loads of sand. There's also a huge variety of climbing frames that can keep even a toddler engaged (with help), but definitely older kids and adults! 😊 People often mention playground, kids,

Awesome park. Really big, something for all ages. Lots of sand. One little problem is the big hill in the middle means you don't have overview of the whole park. If your kids are on the other side of the hill, you have to get off your butt to keep an eye on them. 😉 Also there is a lot of brand nettle.

Loved these types spots, when I was a kid. And set a fitness challenge to go through the obstacles, faster than teenagers

A great playground, lots of great equipment spread over quite a large plot next to the canal.

Really cool place to go with kids, I think. I was there all by myself and also had a lot of fun. Challenging playground next to water canal with industrial look.

Nice big playground for children. Parents can relax by the water

One of our favourite playgrounds around. Sand/wood/heights/acceleration.. Great sandplace with climbing pirate ships. Super slide on the hill, and climbing parcours plus cable ride. Such a pity the labyrinth and tunnel is eliminated. Now only two swings in return

Not a lot of space, each mother takes a whole bench and if you ask if you can sit there because they are taking over the entire benches, you are shouted at, which is a shame and unfortunately the children quickly get bored of the playground.

Nice playground. My children are 10 and 6 years old. There are enough benches for the parents. Behind the hill you can't really see what the children are doing.

Such a great place for kids to play and sport in the natural environment , with a bit industrial tone of "the stomach of Amsterdam" and a great mural of Keith Haring on the "background".

Our daughter loves this place. Lots to do here, including a very large slide and a wooden "wrecked pirate ship." Great stop if you have a little one.

Playground OK. To get there however, one needs to cross an interestingly dangerous cross road. There are lights, but typical Amsterdam style, nobody cares. And even if the lights are respected, motorists have very limited view of pedestrians and cyclists crossing.

My kids love this place, especially the long slide. For four years old and up.
