We were heading for the Cafe Winkel 43 and it may well have lovely apple based victuals, but naahhh, skip all that blah blah for Luuk's perfect relaxing coffee place opposite. We are lucky enough to have a high concentration of world class coffee and sweet treat emporia in Hackney, the only place to visit when in London, and Luuk's place is up there with the best of them. From the expertly prepared coffee, via the tranquil bamboo utensils to the very accomplished raspberry and white chocolate macaroon, this was a lovely little place to rest ones' weary feet and recharge ready for the next charge canal-side, risking bodily harm from bombastic bicyclists.

Looking for a cozy little coffee joint to grab a quick coffee, then this is a perfect place to visit. Location & Ambience: (5/5) Right in the middle of town and very close to the canals to be able to grab and go or sit inside. There are a few seats inside as well as a bench on the outside to enjoy your coffee and food in the sun. Food & Coffee: (5/5) Really great coffee. The flavours were great as was how strong it was. The food was fresh and great for takeaway as well. Service: (5/5) Friendly staff always with a smile. Summary: (5/5) Great little cafe that serves up some delicious coffee.

Small, cozy, beautifully decorated. Simplicity and authenticity is the core behind this popular place in the heart of Amsterdam. Definitely recommended, as the coffee tastes great and the folks working there are super cool.

Very cozy and humble place. The latte was definitely one of the better I’ve had since I’ve been in Amsterdam. Lemon poppy loaf was absolutely delicious too!

Nice design, cool baristas, pleasant view for drink coffee and relax. In love with blue cup for coffee. Cappuccino with oat milk was amazing.

I rate this place 5 stars ⭐️ because their coffee is more affordable than others in the location (e.g. you pay €4.30 for an iced latte with oat milk). The interior design is very cohesive but there aren’t many spaces to sit. It has a bench or two for outside seating. Food selection (cakes and pastries) isn’t very wide. Friendly staff

Dope coffee spot in a great location in Jordaan. Nice and friendly staff. not sure about the food selection- pretty small variety and tastes pretty average. but love the decor and the vibes! Highly recommend it! not too many seating spots but a take out is just as good.

If you’re planning on dining in… good luck. The seats are very limited but do stop by for some good coffee. They know what they’re doing :) One of the best cappuccinos I’ve had in my life.

Lots of locals and tasty warm drinks just fab for the cold weather! Got the matcha and was quite nice. Very friendly staff who patiently took my order. Great seats inside for a rest and hang out.

What a cozy cafe with excellent drinks and pastries! Highly recommend everything we had, matcha, espresso, chocolate banana cake, pastis, chai… Had a productive morning sitting at the bar seats with fast Wi-Fi and good light/views from the window. Friendly service too!

My roommate and I love getting coffee from here. Our usual order is a flat white with oat milk. I have never sampled the food but it all looks yummy. The staff is super friendly and the atmosphere they instill makes us want to come back. The coffees are a little overpriced.

Extremely tasteful coffee, juices, and croissants. We love the minimalist aesthetics and structured wall decoration!

Decent cappuccino, imho, taste-wise there wasn't a significant difference from other hipster coffee places around. Queues were long (~15min today) and prices are slightly above the average (4.3€ for a large cup).

So far my favorite café in Amsterdam. A bit of a hipster vibe (which I like) and definitively a real art to select coffee beans and to prepare a good flat white. Plant-based options include oat and sprout.

So worth the walk. I’m always looking for great coffee. This hit the mark- great service and very amazing coffee. Smooth- nutty- Yummy!!

Found out from the Oatly Soft Serve Pop Up store that Luuk’s Coffee made the coffee flavor ice cream and luckily, the cafe was just right next to it so I decided to pay a visit. I was not disappointed because their coffee was so good. It was a bit small and the indoor space can be a bit stuffy on a hot day but there is only one long bench for seating outdoors so there was no choice. I loved it and hopefully, I can stop by again soon!
