Really nice place for lil climbers. There’s a lil stand where you can buy some snacks and drinks. Also, for those wondering where to park - just follow google maps to get here and it’ll lead you to the “begraafplaats” parking - it costs 0.10cents an hour (at least on weekends). Follow Childwoods on instagram for more daytrips like these in your area :))

Great nature freeplace for kids and parents. Fireplace where you can bake bread on a stick or popcorn. In the small house it's warm in wintertime and you can buy t-shirts to support and drinks like hot chocolate. In Summertime you can roast marsallows and get an ice cream from the freezer. There a toilet at the small house. There are new playhouses/parcours and willowconstructions on several spots..which makes it more groomed. The 'playferry' is replaced by a new one. In summertime the mudpool is a delightfor the small ones We love to make our birthday parties here. They have several programmes like baking bread and making bow and arrow etc adapted to the age Even after all this years and renewals great fun with view on passing trains for kids who love nature and improvisation

Great place for kids, they can enjoy and play with the nature. There are several "islands" connected with gangways and rafts. Each island has their own theme. Entry is free of charge but donations are kindly accepted.

If the weather is good and you like mud, it's your place! It may be a bit tricky if the weather is super sunny and hot since the shaded parts are limited

Make sure you are well equipped before visiting. Wear boots, especially if visiting after a rainy period. The place needs a bit more care and love.

Amazing place to bring the kids! We have been here only once (our daughter is still a baby) and it was a really nice experience. We can't wait to go with her when she grows up! There are allot of activities for the kids. Entrance is free. There is a small Cafe near the entrance where you can get a drink or coffee.

On a perfect weather day, you can headout with the kids and enjoy some natural surroundings within Amsterdam. Perfect spot to escape high tourists areas and relax. Just watch out for canals and mud - kids will get dirty OR opt for a splash in the water if it's warm enough! Didn't try the on-site cafe, but it looks like they run workshops here too.

Had a great day with a school trip for groups 5/6/7/8. Have fun building rafts, baking sandwiches and, above all, getting dirty on your voyage of discovery! Recommended!

Great and quiet spot in Amsterdam, a hidden treasure. Best in June and September. A lot of fun for kids. Check their website, I think there are workshops for kids as well. Place to chill and hangout with friends and family. Omega, ropes above small canals.... Beautiful !!

Brilliant place for kids to play. The focus is on letting them roam free and get dirty. They can swim (in muddy water), roast marshmellows, catch little fish and insects with a net, zip line, cross the water on a wobbly raft etc etc.

Fell in water, got covered in mud. Five stars would get covered in mud again.
