The full-body massage (the technique) was good. The ladies are nice. But the cold room + the cold oil + the cold hands make it the experience you don't want to repeat. If you tweak your services so it's warm, you and the customers will benefit much. It was the first time I was waiting for the massage to end sooner simply because I was cold (despite asking for the second blanket).

Booked in for a pregnancy massage. At €79 it wasn’t cheap but as I was on holiday and after a flight I decided I would treat myself. When I arrived no one was there yet (I was 10 minutes early) so I waited outside for someone to arrive. When they did they opened the door and I went in. However they just left me standing there, no attempt to make me feel welcome. I went into have my massage, the lady was very nice, however when it came to the massage it felt very impersonal. She didn’t ask me where was bothering me most and there wasn’t much communication about what I would benefit from most from my massage. The massage itself was alright. Once finished, she simply said hope you enjoyed your massage drink lots of water today and left the room. She didn’t come out the reception to say goodbye or anything. I felt quite uncomfortable. Left feeling disappointed.

Let me start off with my massage was great. My feedback is , why is the room so bright ? Booked a couple massage and the 2 skylights above plus room lights on the whole time, while I was on my back I could not relax. Also the room was quite cold, no heating pad /blanket on the bed. That being said, as good as the massage was, we won't be returning. I recommend on focusing on a relaxing atmosphere, not a medical, stark bright room.

When you get there you immediately turn into the relaxation mood of the place, the place is beautiful, and well decorated, and you will forget that you are in the metropolin. The massage was excellent and tailor made for you. After the massage you will get tasty cup of tea !

Honestly only putting 2 stars because despite the masseur finishing the massage early (!!), he was still nice and friendly and I liked the music they played. The rest (the massage itself, the QR code, the door that I saw others struggle with too - including to leave -, the lack of employees in the building or at minimum a receptionist to help when the QR code does not work, the clinically and comically large room, the extreme frustration at paying for a targeted massage and not having all of the surface covered) did not lead to a good and relaxing experience. Really wish I had liked this place, but save yourself some money and go to the massage place on the opposite side of the street 😔

Worth a visit again

My man and I had the duo massage today. It was super relaxing. I am 32 weeks pregnant and I was massaged by Nathalie, she was lovely and did wonders! Thank you again Nathalie and Annette! My partner also enjoyed very much the five full body massage! The only negative aspect is the brightness of the room, however it doesn't affect my star rating as the overall experience was amazing. I recommend and will be back.

I came here before COVID and it was a really nice, relaxing and personal spot. Now you will find an empty reception, you have to enter with a QR code, so you aren't greeted when you come in, and because there is nobody there you can't have a tea to relax a bit before or after your massage. They tried to solve it by a water tank and a tea 'goodie bag' for at home (a cup with a tea bag and chocolate) but it has a different feel to it. The treatments are booked quite short after each other, so no taking it slow (1 minute, get in your clothes and go). Apart from that, the masseur was friendly and reminded me to take a tea goodie bag to go, but the massage was quite soft and I didn't feel the relieve I had before (or with a Thai salon like Nara). My friend had a facial at the same time and she felt the experience was less personal and professional than before. The beautician told her they were all freelancers, I don't know if they changed ownership or maybe they had to work in a different way because of COVID and personnel shortage (I understand that can be difficult). The location and ambiance is still nice though, light room with big wooden table. I heard they opened in West, I will check that one out, maybe it feels better.

Possibly the worst massage I’ve ever had. They called me morning of to tell me my masseuse called out sick, so needed to switch me to another person. I’ve never had a softer massage in my life, from seemingly such an inexperienced person. He was nice but it felt like just swiping his hands from side to side for the entire thing. Also started late and ended early, so lost 7 or 8 mins from a 55 min massage. Probably the only good part of the experience. Look elsewhere

Great duo massage by Vincent and Yumiko. They are real experts. Clean frame. I recommend it for those looking for a real moment of relaxation and well-being.

Lovely calm space. Nice welcome. Good explanation of treatment and discussion of what my wishes are in terms of my face/skin (was collageen facial). Treatment was great. Relaxing but saw a difference in my face afterwards (less puffy and more relaxed around my eyes). Monika has the perfect balance between letting you know what she is doing and letting you 100% relax and enjoy.

Nice spot for a massage while you're on-the-go. Would have been nicer to have a full 55 minutes of massage as advertised...but it was closer to 50. Still a good value and nice location if you have the need.

You will be in good company when you enter Five City Spa, located at one of the most charming streets in Amsterdam. Great place, highly recommended. They work with products of team Dr. Joseph (100 % natural and organic ingredients). Great result after the facial, skilled people, clean and very relaxing. All that you can wish for!
