What a disaster. I went to Risham's for a manicure. She had a limited choice of colors. File looked like it was used many times before which is not hygienic . Cuticles were unsightly cut with clippers so blunt that torned my skin. There is no manicure table in the salon, just bed instead, so the nails are done while the hand is hanging in the air. Lamp was placed on my legs. Nails were really ugly with painted hair under the nail polish. Don’t recommend at all.

Kim is a hair savior! What a lovely experience. My hair was severely damaged from the sun and she took care of it. I walked out with a new shiny head of hair. I love my cut as well, she listened to what I wanted and gave me a great cut. Already looking forward to my next appointment. It was very easy to book online and the salon is very clean and fun. I also opted for a scalp treatment and hair mask- which if you can treat yourself too is incredible. I highly recommend this salon and Kim!!

I had a wonderful experience at Day and Night Hairdressers in De Pijp. I was very new to Amsterdam and wanted my hair done before a trip I was going on. I didn’t pick a specific employer to work on my hair but I am so happy my appointment ended up being with Natalia. She was so nice, polite and efficient. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she nailed it. I’ll be asking for her specifically from now on!

Outstanding - After searching for hours for a hairdresser, with good reviews, and attention to detail, I was able to get an appointment with Mario. One of the best hair cuts I've had! Really likes to understand what you want, but tailors your ideas to your hair fullness and what will suit you. I'll be returning.

This parlor is very nice and clean, here the hair is very healthy and the hair growth is good and the cutting is very good.

Since the lady I usually visit at another salon was on vacation, I decided to come here for my eyebrow threading. I had confidence in this place due to its high rating of 4.7, but little did I know it would turn out to be my worst eyebrow-threading experience. Martyna, the lady, was genuinely friendly, but she ended up removing an excessive amount of hair from the middle of my eyebrows. It has been nearly two months, and I'm still struggling to regrow the hair in that area.

Fantastic staff, first place I have gone where I feel they understand my skin clear needs instead of just trying to push products on me.

Samantha is the best hair professional I have founded in Amsterdam. The place is nice and they make a comfortable experience while doing your hair.

The hairdresser RUINED my hair (and my sweater by the way). I asked for a balayage, and the result was awful, I had 3/4 different colors in my hair, worst experience. 1st picture is what I asked for, and then what I got.

Sylvia has been my beautician for close to 7 years now and I could not be more grateful to have stepped into her beauty salon back then! Sylvia is super friendly and extremely professional. Great attention to hygiene, wonderful service, many different treatments possible... There is really nothing to complain about! I've had to explore other places during her (short) maternity leave and I have never found anyone matching what she has to offer. I highly recommend Sylvia's services to everyone!

I had my curly hair cut and styled by Kim and she did an amazing job. She decided to cut my hair while it was dry so she could get the exact feel of it. First person to cut my hair based on its personality rather than their own agenda. She even threw in a free styling session because she needed to reschedule my appointment. I couldn't be more happy and I wish I lived in Amsterdam so I can come to her more often. Heartily recommended!

Today I had a bad experience with Samantha. I showed her two reference photos, and when she was done with the balayage it looked nothing like the pictures. When I told her it was not like the photos she said "is because you have dark hair" I have painted my hair SEVERAL times and got a result very similar to the pictures, AND even if that was the case, the whole style was different, she did a completely different thing to my hair, she should have told me that she could NOT do what I was asking if my hair was too dark BEFORE starting, not at the end. When I got home I noticed the right part of my hair is noticeably way lighter than the left, It looks BAD. When I complained I was expecting her to tell me she would fix it but she just told me "come after two months". Would NOT recommend!!!!

Stefanie did a great job cutting my super curly hair. Many hairdressers don't know what to do with it and I had kind of given up on my dry and frizzy hair - but she transformed it into springy, almost frizz-free curls! She also gave me great advice on how to care for my hair (recommending products that they didn't even sell). Will be back!
