They
allegedly
have
different
policies
for
laptops
on
weekdays
and
weekends.
There
is
no
sign
indicating
this,
and
they
have
the
audacity
to
request
that
you
turn
off
your
laptops.
The
personnel
are
also
passive-aggressive
and
rude
in
their
approach.
With
a
fake
smile,
one
of
them
told
me
that
people
want
to
enjoy
their
coffee
on
the
weekends.
Well,
I
was
there
to
enjoy
my
coffee
as
well
until
your
fake
and
passive
aggressive
smile.
Other
establishments
might
also
have
similar
policies
but
they
are
not
misleading
their
customers
and
put
signs
at
the
cash
register
and
the
tables,
and
they
usually
reserve
a
table
for
people
who
work
;)
It's
2023,
and
some
people
use
their
laptops
for
more
than
just
work
matters,
such
as
reading
a
newspaper
or
a
book.
Would
they
also
ask
someone
reading
a
book
or
a
magazine
to
leave?
Sometimes,
people
have
to
work
together
in
a
shared
space
because
they
don't
have
another
option
and
still
want
to
enjoy
some
coffee
in
the
meantime.
Their
assumptions
about
who
brings
a
laptop
and
who
doesn't
seem
to
take
precedence
over
their
customers'
satisfaction.
Is
profit
their
primary
concern?
I
used
to
buy
my
coffee
beans
here
regularly,
but
I
won't
be
setting
foot
in
this
place
anymore
and
will
be
spreading
the
word.
Edit:
Exactly
one
week
after
writing
this
review
and
receiving
a
response,
I
was
passing
by
and
saw
two
white
men
on
their
laptops
working
and
drinking
coffee
inside.
What
makes
them
an
exception
to
this
protocol
that
has
been
there
for
a
while
I
wonder…
