If I could give 0 stars I would. The security guard pushed my friend (a girl) three times, really harshly, because he assumed she was too drunk due to a misunderstanding. We filed a police report about it and hopefully he will face consequences.

booked a table three weeks in advance but when we showed up they told us that there was a miscommunication and there wasn’t space for us. we had to move the tables ourselves and it felt like the staff was over us. overall it was a huge mess of a situation.

First time pretty good experience due the open minded guests and service at the bar. But the second time the securities and ALL of them wanted to charge 10€ per person while all the others didn’t pay a penny. It was checked by myself with 10 people standing outside. I’m really sorry for this review because I know the concept is good. But the securities are racist and maybe just in a wrong job where they might not belong if they have to “mug” NOT Dutch people. In our case it’s Vietnamese / Asian people and he was western guy. Great location near other bars and venues. Normal prices for Amsterdam and nice size of the venue. Also nicely accessible toilets. Space inside and outside.

I was meeting my friends there and having drinks and all was fine. At some point they started to charge 5€ for entrance, so I paid to go to a toilet. When I was leaving the bouncer criticized my outfit, saying that I should not dress like that if I want to ever get in again. I like the place for its location and I’ve been there many times since I moved to Holland in 2015. But I believe this comment was as much inappropriate as it was unnecessary. The place is legendary, but if it keeps employing bigots I am not sure it will stand much longer.

Fantastic lively place in the evening and a great spot to enjoy the music until the early hours. Despite being busy the service at the bar was fast and the prices weren’t unreasonable, which given the prime location was fantastic. Had a fantastic night here and would return again for a night of partying!

Pretty fun place! I’ve been twice, one on my birthday and I had a blast, the DJ was playing great music and overall a great vibe. Second time it started good, but then a band started playing and to be honest it wasn’t music made for dancing, we didn’t like it and a lot of people started leaving, we came back like 2 hours later since every bar was full except this one, and the band finished and the DJ started playing pretty good music. I like the place, I’m not a fan of the live music, maybe because I’ve only seen one band and it was pretty bad, but I give it 4 stars overall

horrible experience with the security. would never go again. Was there with my friends, got pushed out by the security with no explanation. Dragged out with heels only because of vaping. No explanation given, security didn’t even want to explain what happened

If you wanna dance your heart out go to De Heren. Pretty international crowd! Everyone's super chill ! The bartenders were amazing and the DJ played amazing millennial tracks! The best part is they have lockers to keep your stuff for 2 euros!

Security men are way too aggressive please do not consider this place at all if you want to have a good time. I wish they were more considerate but apparently unless you’re Dutch they will just treat you miserably. I tried to get the name of the security guard but he was just too busy being aggressive and grabbing me. I still have bruises on my arm. He was a tall Dutch man with a beard, brown hair and green eyes, I hope that none of you ever have to face what I had to tonight. I never had such a bad experience in my whole life.

We were there with friends for dinner. We had never tried Nepalese cuisine before. We started with drinks, then ordered our main course and dessert. For the first time, I forgot to take pictures of the food; I was so impressed. Everything was served in beautiful Nepalese dishes, and a very kind staff member explained to us how to eat each dish. They also answered all of our additional questions. The food arrived very quickly, was fresh, and absolutely delicious. There was a wide selection of vegetarian dishes and desserts. I highly recommend it! We will definitely return to this place.

Great brown pub, with live music and the world cup on screen. If you're thirsty, it's well worth a visit!

Nice place, open until 5am, prices are correct (5 eur for entrance around 2am) and good vibes inside even though crowded.

There is a Turkish security at the door, we came here from London. We were treated very badly. We faced a very racist and categorizing behavior. Basel on some drunk people, we were harassed and at the end we had a bad night.

God club, good service (two bars) and good music, a bit too loud for my taste, but had some great times there!

This was truly an experience. The Music was amazing and it is open until 5am. Will definitely come back!

Came here with friends. Got them to try the bitterballen and 5/6 loved it. We disowned the one who didn't. Had a good Belgium dark beer as there were no Dutch dark beers available.

Okay bar for a happy hour, but nothing really special.

Till 3 La Chouffes everything was alright. then we did shots and the world was a better place afterwards!

Overall a nice place but they really need to be more attentive when taking the orders. They brought me an alcoholic beer instead of a non-alcoholic and a mix of snacks instead of just nuggets I ordered. Also they split all their tables in half with windscreens and were trying to push 4 of us colleagues to sit on one side with almost 0 distance between us (not even close to 1.5 meters). So greedy and irresponsible!

They allow you to buy beer inside without any apps - but once you go inside to pee - they ask for the id. So even with CoronaCheck app you still cannot enter . Absolutely ridiculous- so bad treatment for own guests

Wow wow wow…. Came here for my 21 birthday and what a party it was. The bar personnel and the bouncers was super friendly, definitely will be coming back :)
