The private karaoke room was really cool, we had a lot of fun. However, when we still had 10 minutes left, one of the employees entered the room and took one of the microphones and decided to remove our songs from the queue to just put his own dutch songs he liked. When I told him that the birthday girl was not Dutch and this was not nice he just said "well she should just learn dutch, and that this is a lesson" which was really rude. Furthermore, after that we decided to stay for one more drink together. One of us had a beer and we ordered tequila shots. The bartender joined us with taking the shot, even though no one asked him to and he decided to put the shots he took with us on our bill, so we ended up paying for the alcohol he drank with us without being invited. I don't think this is the correct way to treat customers at all.

Staff were nice but such slow service which I wouldn’t expect on a quiet weekday. Had been excited for a while to try this place, particularly for it famous Bao. The food actually looked great when it came out but that’s where it ended. Totally underwhelmed with everything that was served, just bland, lacking in spice, ratios off with doughy bao, just not that great.

The place is nice. But the owner or person in charge is too rude. He starts accusing you of things before they happen. We are a group of honest people without any intention of sneaking in people without paying to the karaoke box. Even when someone came back from the toilet he came shouting at them. Dude. Take a chill pill. Really killed the mood from the get go.

I like the bar atmosphere, but the karaoke room volume was very low, you could barely hear any music or the microphone audio. Hosted a party with 20 people, but the volume was so low it felt that we were on a quiet room with 2 microphones.(Music from the bar was 5 times louder than our karaoke room) Told to the bartender about it, but he was a bit rude and not willing to help. Besides, the music was a bit outdated. If you want to host a karaoke room, better do it in Dukes of Tokyo: it has better volume and staff is friendlier.

Drinks, venue and karaoke were great! The reason for the 2/5 comes down to a member of staff there who seemed to be very controlling of our fun and have a bad attitude. Going over time by 5 minutes (from a 3 hour booking) or cheekily pouring one last beer (during an open bar) when told our time was up surely doesn’t deserve hostile treatment and an intimidating response? When questioning his surprising attitude I was told to leave the bar. The manager was kind and recognized this and apologized which was really appreciated :)

I spent an hour in my hotel with my girlfriend trying to find a cocktail bar in Amsterdam and I couldn’t have chosen a better place to go! The staff are absolutely the nicest people… especially Robin, Giovanni & Felipe!. You won’t find a better bar in Amsterdam. These guys go above and beyond to ensure a fantastic experience.
