Super cool restaurant that I had the pleasure of dining in. Came here with three coworkers and didn't have a reservation. We got seated at the bar and that was cool. The bartender was really nice and made delicious drinks. The food was equally great and we went with the chef's menu. Ovrrall vibe of the restaurant was lowkey cool dark atmosphere. I would dine here again, the food was worth it.

Been here a few times, unfortunately never again. Food is great, but has a really arrogant evening hostess that even refused to call the manger so she doesn’t look bad. As an investor in the hospitality, space, management definitely needs to not prioritize appearance over basic social skills.

Food was delicious! Everything we ordered! Especially yellow tail sashimi and duck! But I must say it’s quite overpriced (£36 for octopus for example), so we will keep for special occasions. Valentine Day dessert was incredible! The best mochi!!

Awful Place. They placed us at the entrance but I made a reservation 1 month ago. My wife couldnt sit there because the wind was so cold. Awful and unfriendly service offered no solution and also the music is a way to loud for a dinning place. They are experts in losing a high value business customer in 5 mins. What a shame. This restaurant is just for poser!!!!

Good Japanese food. Fine dining that requires pre-booking. Sushi was average, steak was surprisingly delicious, and asparagus was uniquely tasty. I’d recommend to have a nice dinner/lunch as the area around the resturant is so lively and classy.

A classy up-scale restaurant very near the Rijksmuseum. The food was fresh and lovely, desert very interesting. Wine was tasty. The service was very good, waitresses spoke English. Over all a great experience, definitely recommend it!

Very nice vibe and absolutely great restaurant. It’s very popular so you need to reserve, especially in the weekends. It also has a very nice bar area and is considered as a “want to be seen” place. The cocktails and drinks are fantastic, including the non alcoholic cocktails. I really love their Gold Digger. Service is at a absolutely high level, seriously. Especially for Amsterdam standards it’s very high! All the waitresses look gorgeous, also a nice bonus I would say and they are very helpful and know where they taking about. Last but not least the price… as you can imagine this kind of place with top notch service and high quality food comes with a price which is not cheap….at all…. Their sushi is great but also quite expensive so are the drinks. I noticed a quite high price increase after COVID. For your reference; I had the sushi platter what you can see at the picture, steamed sea brass, some rice, two alcohol free cocktails, two gold diggers cocktails a bottle of water and two ice tea. Price was 150 and paid € 160 for the good service.

One of the best experiences we were ever had! Itay, our great waiter, was very attentive and all his recommendations were just perfect - including a great wine and raw materials we do not usually eat but here were fantastic! The pace of the meal gave us the apportunity for a calm and perfect evening. So thank you Momo for a great flavors and thank you Itay for a great experience!

Culinary Tempel of Asian fusion cuisine. Very friendly, attentive and expert staff. I liked that they were always happy to supply advice based on their own experience and taste. Judging by the familiarity with staff many people seem to return frequently. Always a good sign. Every drink and dish was a well rounded explosion of tastes and textures.

Really enjoyed our meal here! Prices are fairly steep but the food and drinks were great. The grilled octopus was my favourite. Definitely get the spicy edamame! Only photos I could get were empty plates! Highly recommend also the prawns with curry sauce!

Very expensive wines and food leveraging on a very inauthentic look and feel. They clearly employ models to give the impression that this is a cool place without actually being a cool place at all. They're trying way to hard and it comes across as more style over substance. Some instagramers will no doubt think this is very cool but will they be back once the initial look has worn off? The shining light was Isabella who served us very authentically and naturally and was prompt and efficient in everything she did. The food was so-so, some undercooked, some too salty. Ironically the vegetarian food was better than the fish. Worth going once but prepare your wallet. Just not worth the price.

The place has a good vibe during the weekends. Food is mediocre and overpriced. Small selection of sushi but really nothing special. Black cod is good, side dishes are not. I thing they made the rice few days ago, it's dry and there is absolutely no taste. The interior has not changes in the last 10 years but it doesn't look outdated. Check in process takes ridiculous amount of time with checking the reservations, taking the jackets, checking the qr codes, taking guest to the table. All done by 1 person. It's a place you go to for the vibe, definitely not for the food.

We had a business dinner, and the MOMO provided excellent food, great beverages, and a very good service. The food was exceptional, the wine was higher class, the service was dedicated, and a bit overchallenged due to high peek business in the evening. Nevertheless, I would love to return for a great dinner the next stay in town.

It is a great place that has the right mood and quality full of flavor food. They use top ingredient. Sitting at the bar and having food was a great experience to watch the bartenders in action…you can see their expertise and passion in creating some top class drinks…definitely a place to try

Delicious food with a live DJ. Booking in advance required. And the confirmation on the day of the dining is also required—but you need a local phone number to do that because you have to confirm by sending back a text message, otherwise they just cancel your reservation. Face of the waitress wasn’t exactly pleasant until I ordered a bottle of wine. Pricing reasonably high, despite subjective.

+ relatively fast and friendly service (very rare in Amsterdam!) - 3 tiny deep fried dimsum and 8 tasteless sushi is sincerey not worth 60 euro ... - very loud music and thus almost impossible to talk (this was supposed to be a restaurant dinner not a club) better go to TAIKO for this budget, at least you can eat in a classy and relaxed atmosphere, not in a discotheque..

A place you like or don't like. Music is pretty loud and present. Lot of staff running around and so the service is pretty fast. The food is kind of share share with actually a huge menu to choose from. Quality is oke. Bit the fushion way.

MOMO is a solid place to go if you're looking for an energetic yet classy atmosphere. The food is prepared well and flavorful. One caveat however would be the tempura prawns - this dish in particular is very bland and not at all up to the level of the other dishes on the menu. The service was very good; despite being a busy evening for the restaurant we were able to get a table without a reservation. The hostess checked our coats and we were seated right away. The wait staff was also very attentive; constantly setting and cleaning the table in between courses. With regards to price, for a few cocktails, two starters, two entrees, and one dessert came to about €240 including the tip. This is far too expensive in my opinion for the overall quality of the meal.

Maybe this is not doing them justic because we went there before dinner time and we got the lounge menu instead. But it was kind of underwhelming. Great service and atmosphere, though. Too bad we didn’t have actual dinner there.

Hand down best restaurant I’ve been to in Amsterdam. Gorgeous location, super delicious sophisticated food. Unfortunately not many pictures as my phone ran out of charge but managed to get the Moche dessert picture. Refreshing delicious and looking like art. Definitely will be back again!

We had the set menu which is a 3/4 course meal and comes in sharing plates. The food was quite flavorful and we enjoyed the music as well but the prices are fairly steep for what they offer.

If you want hip and trendy, you don’t care about being ripped off and don’t care about quality… go here. If you care about quality, and know your food… skip this place. They think they are setting themselves apart, but they’re really just another watered down hipster Japanese fusion restaurant that attracts a crowd that has no idea what good food is and thinks “if it’s expensive, it must be good”. Seriously, we paid 230 EUR for mediocre food (at best) and we were still hungry afterwards. Not a single noteworthy dish!! The only good thing was the cocktail I had.

Great food, okay service, hotel lobby restaurant vibes…. Not necessarily the most charming restaurant but the food was definitely good…. The mochi was presented very nicely but kind of melted… no need to come back here 🫡

This is a world class restaurant. I sat right next to the pass and the food they were putting out was top notch. High quality sushi and ceviche. As well as unique dishes like octopus which has a crispy skin like yummy chicken skin and a perfectly cooked interior. It is on top of a sweet corn sauce and white asparagus. Service was great too. Highly recommend it.

The service in this restaurant is quite poor for the class that MOMO is trying to achieve. Our starters didn't arrive for over 40 minutes. Our empty drink glasses were never taken away from the table (at one point I had 3 glasses in front of me, 2 of them empty...). The music is quite loud and waiters walk by tables without even glancing at the guests, so if you need to grab their attention, you really need to get out of your way and waive in a very obvious and non-classy way. Or address them loudly, so they hear you over the music. Even less class in that. This experience definitely doesn't match the prices of this restaurant. I do not recommend. 2 stars because unlike the experience, the food was great.

What a night! Lotte welcomed us and took us to the perfect table for out party. Emily and Ayesha made us the best cocktails ever and Doville and her team treated us like royalty. And kitchen ruined food from other places forever. Thank you, team MOMO, see you soon! Hope I remembered the names correctly, because y'all rock!

Nice vibe. We went on a Sunday so music was not so loud and you can have a good chat. We had dinner by the bar and the bartender was nice the Italian guy :) . I would say they should include some salads on the menu like the spinach salad you find in Izakaya or Nobu. Dessert was top! And the sashimi too . The king prawn we thought would be grilled but it was kind of fried and the wagyu roll was not really special. We wanted to try a cocktail with bourbon and cacao but the bartender recommended better after dinner but after dinner not really feeling like having a cocktail so we didn’t try it.

Expensive, but great location, good food, music and decor. A bit loud, so choose for a party mood.

We had a tasting menu, little dishes of high quality Japanese food. All was good, but when the dessert came we started checking for a hidden camera (seriously did that). A huge eclair. This doesn’t fit in a tasting menu let alone a Japanese restaurant. Destroyed the experience, won’t come back.
