It was a very interesting experience, positives and few negatives. We arrived on a Saturday night after being told in other places that they were full, so finding space here was great! The waitress warned us that the dishes were coming slowly and we accepted the condition. The staff was friendly and spoke Spanish although service was a bit sloppy and seemed to lack diligence. After waiting a lot for our food (we got first starters then ordered mains) everything was great! We were all very happy with the food. When we arrived I had ordered a margarita that took almost as much as the food to arrive and when it did it was salty. I (went down stairs to the bar and) asked the waitress if she could change it, she gladly did and the new one was good, the wife of my boyfriend's brother ordered one too, although we missed the Margarita glasses (they were served in a long glass haha). Overall it was a good eating experience, if you are willing to be patient, we were warned about the longer times and the staff was nice to us, food was delicious and we had a great time. Thank you.

Horrible service, we did not get what we ordered. The staff did not pay attention nor wanted to communicate with us, and was very rude. The owner started to talk negatively about us to other customers in front of us. we confronted them and their argument was that they were older then us so we didn’t know what we were talking about. They where not service minded or helpful at all, they met us with hostility. My worst experience on a restaurant ever.

I really wanted to like this place. It was a cozy location and some of the staff was nice and welcoming. My friends and I ordered three drinks and two appetizers to share. We got one appetizer and our drinks. The bartender admitted that she made a mistake with the drinks and said that she could make new ones if they tasted bad. We complained about our drinks and asked for our food. We got the rest of our food and only one drink (to share I guess???) after half an hour. We tried to communicate with multiple servers, but no one seemed interessed in talking with us. We told the owners that we only wanted to pay for what we got, one drink and our food. They then proceeded to shittalk about us to other customers in front of us, locked the door and threatened to call the police. Horrible horrible service!

Arguably one of the worst food establishments I’ve ever been to in my life. Good luck getting a server to even acknowledge that you are there. Multiple tables got up and left after not being served for over 30+ minutes. I’ve traveled the world and this place takes the cake for worst “Mexican” food I’ve ever had. Please please don’t waste your time and stay away!!

Keep away. We waited over an hour, kept asking about our main courses that didn’t arrive. And finally, one waiter (not our guy) came to say the kitchen made a mistake. No apologies and no compensation for their mistake. Plenty of other great Mexican places around, I’d skip this one.

Marrocan lentil soup was soooo good … Best seating area in terrace, exactly above the canal where so many boat passing through ….

Right next to metro stration Rokin. Walking distance from Dam and Rembrandtplein. Very cozy. Goofld authentic food.

If you are looking for real spicy Mexican taste, this is NOT the place you should be visiting!! The food does not taste quite Mexican!! 🤷‍♂️😓 Quite disappointed!! 😓

DELICIOUS food. And when I say delicious I mean FANTASTIC. Real mexican food with real cooks that know what they are doing. Amazing staff, friendly vibe, quick service, central location in the center just 100m away from metro. Seriously delicious well served food with fair price. Will be back very soon! Thank you!

Great place! It was very busy so we were happy that we got a table. The manager(?) was a lovely girl who made us feel super welcome although it was very busy. Food took a little long, but it was worth the wait. Margs were great too. The waitresses were very nice and were dancing and singing! It was a great experience and if we’re back in Amsterdam we will come back for sure. Thank you ladies!!

The girls at the bar treated the sisters from Oklahoma like their best friends! We came back 3 times to visit just because of their kindness and great service! An awesome small venue with a large personality! Great job!

Staff were friendly, but very overworked. We were told 2 people for 2 floors of guests. This made the initial wait a little long, but waiter was friendly and could be seen rushing around trying to cover as much as possible while still being friendly at each table. + for effort. Food came fairly quick after ordering and was good. All in all a good experience, although the place would benefit from more staff on busy days.

The owners were unfriendly, slow service. Was there for dinner and shared an entree. They charged an additional €3 for a second fork and plate. Food was OK - slathered with liquid sour cream.

Food quality was very bad, extremely salty, horrible value for money, took 1 hour to arrive, the young 16 year old waiter kid was very nice and polite but one of his colleagues, she was a little rude. Probably a decent place for drinks only for the veranda views, but other than that bad.

The food is good, but to be honest it's takes times to arrive. On the other side the cocktails are pretty nice, feel free to chose anyone and you won't be disappointed 😜🥳

Absolutely delicious food and drinks. Very helpful, friendly and attentive staff. Good portion sizes. Great selection of gluten free options. Good understanding of coeliac disease and how to avoid cross contamination.

Nice food,location good but the waitress was terrible. We assumed she was busy being the only waitress. We asked for more drinks they never arrived. When leaving I noticed she was sitting on her phone doing nothing. Only 5 tables were being used and all had dirty dishes waiting to be removed. The waitress had more interaction with her phone than customers. It could be a great place if they improved the staff.

The owner Alex is hilarious and the food was great. I couldn’t keep my friends from eating my steak fajita. The best part was the sangria.

Great hospitality for families. The stew is absolutely amazing. If you are lucky, there is a fantastic balcony on the backside with a few tables overlooking the canals. As an American who’s used to good #margaritas, these are the best I’ve found in Amsterdam

For some reason my burritos was baked with lettuce inside. Hot chewy lettuce 🤮 Also water is like 3 eur for 200 ml, feels like a ripoff. Place looks very cozy tho

The service was quite rude. The food was not bad but for the price it wasn’t amazing either. We couldn’t pay separately. I probably wouldn’t come again (mainly because of the attitude of the waitresses)
