To an otherwise well planned room and convenient metro location, the house keeping was really disappointing. Hair is the towels , very amateur cleanliness overall. Refilling toiletries for a 4 days stay was also not good enough. Worst is we had to clean the toilet as soon as we entered 🤯

If you care about your safety, don't stay here I stayed here last week and am very disappointed in the hotel safety and the lack of management's response. Around 1am in the morning the evacuation alarm went off. All guests exited their rooms and tried to leave the building. The front door (rotating door) was blocked with people stuck in it. Front desk clerk was clearly confused and stressed, and was not communicating. After several guests urgently asked him what was going on, he was passive aggressively telling us there was some smoke in the kitchen and "he was busy". We should go back to our rooms. For my own safety and others, i wanted to leave the building in case there would be a real problem. We wanted to find the other exit, but the front desk clerk only shouted "you are not allowed to go there". Imagine this situation with a crowd of people in the middle of the night, all confused, some in panic, some with crying children. One guest was very upset and told me he wanted to throw a chair through the windows if needed. From the hotel perspective there was no communication, nobody seemed to be in control and nobody seemed to care about getting the guests safe first and then dealing with everything else. After a while we all went back to our rooms. But the situation was still not under control as the alarm went off several more times. If this has been a real emergency, this situation could have caused serious consequences as the hotel did not look after our safety, nor did the hotel staff seemed to be capable of handing the situation. In the morning I asked to speak to the manager at the front desk, but there was nobody available. The whole situation was downplayed as "fake alarm". I sent the hotel an e-mail with my experience and safety concerns, but so far this e-mail has not been acknowledged nor responded to.

Nice hotel in good location near Amsterdam metro station. Overall my stay there was good. Stuff on reception was nice. There was no problems with check in even when we arrived at hotel around 11 pm. Hotel have it own parking lot which is good to use before heading city center with public transport. My only complain is that bathroom in my room wasn't very clean. The shower was leaking and there was almost no toilette paper.

Staff were faultless. We managed to break the coffee machine late at night and were allowed into the restaurant for unlimited hot drinks until it could be fixed the next day. Our taxi didn’t turn up so they rang us a new one, explained the urgency and had it there within minutes. Room modern, huge and spotless! I’ve stayed in some nice hotels and this was one of the best!

Very nice rooms and very kind staff. The hotel is close to the metro going directly to the city center. Easy to get to and from the hotel by car and easy to go to/from the airport by public transport as well. It's on the outskirts of Amsterdam, so there isn't much around the hotel, but most of the time will be spent in the city center anyways.

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights and were very pleased. The rooms are spacious and luxuriously decorated. Cleaning was very good. The Spa Collection personalized shampoos and lotions in the bathroom are wonderful. We came here from another hotel in Amsterdam and it was much better than my previous experience. The air conditioning in the room is sufficient and does not make any noise. We liked having a coffee maker in the room. It is far from the center, but transportation networks are easy to use. You can go everywhere by metro. At check-in, we were given an informative sheet about the city and the hotel, which was nice. This hotel offers a luxurious experience at an affordable price.

We were meant to go May 2020 (prepaid) and we change the dates to April 2021 due to covid-19. We are currently in lockdown so we cannot go in April. We cannot change the dates on more time and the hotel does not give us full or partial refund. It was our fault that we prepaid the hotel but they showed complete lack of empathy to people who cannot travel due to lockdown and bad customer service.

My visit to this hotel was from March 12-14. I would like to thank the receptionist who served us tea in the morning before check-in, which was very pleasant as we arrived a little early. The rooms are clean and tidy, and there is good communication as there is a subway station nearby. The hotel is quite affordable compared to other prices. The price/quality ratio is 10/10. Highly recommended!"

Booking ID: 28942787 Had a wonderful stay during christmas 2019. Very cozy, clean & friendly staff with amazing customer service. 5 min to metro and 10 min to city center. Highly recommended! Will be back.

Nice hotel, good value for money. The city center is a little far but metro station is only a 5-minute walk away, it takes 25-30 min to reach tourist attractions. Breakfast is all right, I was happy with self check-in/out.

Most unfriendly and worst hotel in my whole 1 month euro trip. Took for location proximity for metro and that’s the only reason for two stars Some of the staff r quiet rude Their pillow sizes r absurd Bathroom size is good They charge for 3 year old at breakfast which is absurd, he didn’t even drink water from their dirty glass. Their night time receptionist guy is not nice.

We have travelled around the world and stayed in numerous hotels but this hotel gets a special award for being the most dirty, unfriendly, and unprofessional hotel ever. Where do I start? The room was awfully dirty with yellow stains on the sheets, pillows and mattresses. The carpet was full of dust and bread (?) crumbles. The refrigerator was dirty and the coffee machine was dusty with water that hasnt been replaced for months. We booked for three nights - the room was never serviced during that time. The receptionists - especially the lady were impolite and unhelpful. For example, I asked for the ventilation to be turned down cause the filter was dirty and we were coughing - the lady in the reception said : ‘I’m too busy right now can’t help you’. We had breakfast outside in the last day and, although we had informed the hotel that we might check out an hour later, we tried to enter the room at 11:15 and the card was not working. We went downstairs to ask why, the receptionist literally told us: ‘ Maybe because you had to check out before eleven? ‘ Do not book there.

I was sleeping in my room while suddenly a loud alarm and a voice warning that it was a false alarm sounded at least three times through a speaker. Later a waitress came and rang the bell just to ask me if someone had been cleaning the room. During the night it was the worst: at 3:30 a.m. another alarm rang again that woke us up and a voice saying something in Dutch: we couldn't sleep because from that moment on, we were worried about it, we didn't know what was the message about and my heart was beating fast until morning. I have to add something that you should know: the payment for early check-in and 20€ per day to park the car (there's no parking in the surroundings, you have no option but paying). The staff was very unfriendly: the receptionist told us, without looking at us, to do the self-check-in on the touch panel, I didn't understand the technologies well, so it took me a while until I managed to register. All nonsense.

Great hotel, booked a normal room but they gave me the top floor suite, plenty of room and good bathroom. Wifi could be faster but that was the only thing for feedback that I could give. Price was pretty well considering the quality and location

Nice hotel if you like to visit Ikea, for the rest the price for parking 4 euro an hour and the metro each time 3.40 makes it the same price as a hotel in city center. Cleaning team might need some glasses, not a good job. The 400 tv channels with the 40 working once were not from 1 till 40 but all over the loace and after 2 runs my batteries were gone, could not change because of a Philips screw on the battery compartment. Internet is not worth meantioning. So no second vist from us here.

The service was very friendly, The rooms are clean, What I liked was that there was a small refrigerator and a safe in the room, The bed was really comfortable. the bathroom is just a dream with the rain shower, I could control the room temperature myself and there was a do not disturb button. it was very pleasant.

The hotel is very clean, and equipped with all necessities. The location is excellent, close to the metro station “Bullewijk” (just a 2-minute walk), with line M45 directly leading to the city center. The service is also fantastic. Anyway, I couldn't find any faults in this hotel. I think I will visit again next time.

Modern looking Hotel with a bit of small rooms. But Standart for Amsterdam. Parking is 15€. But can Park at Ikea too. Hygenic should have been better for the Price.

Had great and fantastic stay. Although we stayed for a night, we wished we could stay longer. Friendly personal, large room with good amenities, location is just 3 mins away from metro.

WE stayed from 7th Sep to 9th Sep , Hotel is very good , no doubt but my wife lost her gold chain , she kept it in the room and when we came back in night, we found it was missing from her purse which were kept in the room all day. Since it was late night , we reported it early morning , the response from the staff is very cold , they asked us to write a email which we did and they said " they did not find any thing".

Overall a good hotel near the Bullewejk metro station (about 4-5min walk) and just 1 station from the Johan Cruyff stadium (Ajax's stadium). Rooms are clean, but not very spacious. Service was good. Parking is possible for 20€/night.

The manager should know that guest experience is important. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. Choose Joy Hotel instead.

Clean and comfortable. Close to Metro. No complaints other than tv very limited channels and coffee machine didn't work. We didn't report this though as it wasn't really a problem for us.

Hotel Levell needs to get some trainings on guest experience. The airline has cancelled our flight, making it impossible to come to Amsterdam on check in date. The hotel staff replied it is not possible to change the dates as the booking was non refundable. This is the highest level of lack of understanding! Very bad Hotel Level, very bad.

A very nice hotel with friendly staff and very good breakfast selection. The breakfast catering staff is super nice, helpful and friendly. The rooms are clean and well equipped, however the air in general seems to be very dusty. The very large bed and pillows are super comfy. The bathroom is nice and clean with good complimentary hygene items. (No soap holder though.) No hotel bar, as it turned out it is an alcohol free and non-smoking hotel, which is actually better that way. =D Or should be, but the guests smoking outside the entrance or around the building is a bit of a problem as the smoke comes up besides the building and can be smelled in the rooms above them. At night some guests were smoking right in the entrance with keeping the main entrance doors open, so the smoke could be smelled inside the building. At night we could smell a lot of cigarette smoke and joint smoke in our room as well what was disturbing. So this should be improved by placing the smoking areas way further away from the buildings and educate guests not to smoke at the entrance with the door open. Common sense. We also had a fire drill while we were there and the guests needed to leave the buildings, which sometimes happens, so not a big deal. However I noticed that in the building with the reception, the revolving door locks when there is a fire alarm going on. This should be fixed asap, as in a case of an emergency, the guests are not able to leave the building quickly. Other than these, the hotel is great, we had a nice and restful time there after a few busy days walking around the city. Thank you very much! =)

Want to find a way to save a bit of money while visiting Amsterdam? Stay here, as long as you know your day isn't going past midnight so you can hop on the metro (yes we still enjoyed nightlife without staying up until 5AM). The hotel is conveniently located right next to a metro stop that will get you to the heart of downtown in 20 minutes, and allows you to get to the airport via multiple routes. The rooms were clean and spacious. We had a ground level room, which I didn't love, but that won't effect the review. When looking at reviews someone mentioned there wasn't much to do around here...they must not be soccer fans. If you are a sports fan, Ajax plays only one stop away and they are clearly trying to build up a fun sports village around the stadium. This area is on the rise, but while it's rising, I will take the great deal on a nice hotel! Staff was incredibly friendly and would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The rooms are great, very quiet and the beds are very comfortable. We stayed three nights and took the train to the main station to explore the city center. The Bullewijk stop is only a 2 minute walk away and the HBF is 20 minutes away by train. We arrived by train but if you are traveling by car the hotel is very well located. The price-performance ratio is very good.

The rooms and staff are very nice. For the price, the quality is astounding. The only problem is the location as it is a little but out of the way although that isn't too big of an issue as there is a metro station that goes directly into the city right next to the hotel.

Our room was perfect. The hotel is located in a quiet and safe area, very close to metro station. Our room was clean and spacious. The staff was very polite and helpful. We had a problem with the sound of the tv and they fixed it immediately. I totally recommend this hotel and I ll probably choose it next time that I ll visit Amsterdam.

A very nice modern hotel, the location is in a good and safe area, very accessible to the Metro (3 min walk from hotel) that takes you into the main city (25-30 minute journey). It made our Amsterdam stay enjoyable. However, unfortunately the staff weren't very friendly when we had concerns regarding air conditioning and sinks in our room. That was the only downside for the hotel we had.

  • 5/5 Leyla B. 11 months ago on Google
The room was enormous and fancy. Big windows and a nice bathroom. Hot Air conditioning saved us. It did smell a lot like weed in the hall but it's legal so if you don't mind its perfect. The rooms didn't smell at all and it was prohibited to smoke inside. Overall a very very good hotel.

I will give this 5 stars as opposed to my original review which was one star. We got a dirty room but this was quickly changed upon notifying the management. They also gave us free parking. No hassles.

I had booked a room 4 weeks in advance that was canceled due to a failed upfront payment (my bad) 4 days before arrival. I contacted the hotel immediately to inform them and asked them to redo the payment/reservation by granting the same price, which they refused. Instead they proposed I should make a new reservation for more than 3 times(!) as much at that point. Just ridiculous! They were not helping at all! Zero customer oriented and completely incapable to solve a problem for a potential guest! THANK YOU FOR NOTHING!

  • 5/5 Terri L. 1 year ago on Google
The room was a good size, big bathroom and clean. The pillows are an odd size but got use to them after an one week stay. The metro is a 3 minute walk away and about a 15 minute ride to central station. Although there isn't much around the actual hotel, you can go one stop on the metro to Amsterdam Biijlmer Arena. Which has supermarkets, pubs, starbucks, laundry and all other essentials. I was also very impressed with self check in/check out, thank you!

  • 1/5 Conor Mc D. 1 year ago on Google
The rooms are not cleaned properly. Do not look under the bed if you do not want to get a shock. I left two jackets in the closet by accident after I checked out. The rooms weren’t cleaned in between guests and now the 300 Euro worth of clothing is gone. The staff was incredibly unhelpful when I telephoned to inform them about the jackets I had left behind. They insisted i write an email instead which of course they ignored. Also, it costs 15 Euro per day to park your car there. The beds are comfortable however.

  • 2/5 Stoytcho S. 1 year ago on Google
Modern Hotel, but the service was with low quality. At 19:00 O'clock the room was still not ready for check in. When we were entering the room, the cleaning personal was still there!!! The smell in the room was unpleasant. The bed sheets were with some dirty stains. The Location is nice, close to the metro station, but 23 minutes to the city center.

  • 5/5 Jai A. 1 year ago on Google
Staff were very helpful, rooms were nice and clean. They also have a 3 pin socket in the room that I stayed into (UK plugs) so I didn't need an adapter. There was also a fridge, optional breakfast and great value for price of stay.

  • 4/5 Rebecca B. 1 year ago on Google
This hotel was very modern, rooms were small, but nice and clean. It was located near the tram about 5 minutes which made it great to go to center city to Amsterdam, which took us about 20 minutes to get there. We did not eat here, quiet hotel and area. I guess the only negative would be the cleaning man, who buzzed our door, didn’t even give you time to respond to see who it was, and he literally just opened the door.
