This hotel was GREAT! My mom & I stayed for 5 nights and it was such a great stay. If you book directly through the website breakfast is include & 1 drink. The breakfast was great we ate there every morning. Hot food + cold food. Snacks, coffee & tea is free all day. The staff was the friendliest staff I’ve ever met. One of the girls even made home made banana bread one morning for us. Everybody was so helpful and welcoming. Also great location Cafe Americana is around the corner and everything else I mean everything is maybe a 20 min walk at the most. I have nothing but wonderful things to say. Super recommend this boutique hotel Would definitely stay again

I love this hotel. As a solo traveller, It had everything I needed for a short or long stay. The room was perfect for me. The garden outside was adequate. The breakfast selection is great. The staff are very helpful, kind and accommodating. The location is perfect with easy access to the trams, the Central Station and the airport (direct bus). You can even buy tram tickets there. It is very convenient to walk to many locations which I love to do in the summer. There are plenty of shops and eateries nearby. I will definitely be returning next year. Thank you for the excellent service. The only suggestions I would make are 1) check the bedsheets to make sure there is no hair on the sheets. While I understand the issues with sending it to the laundromat for cleaning, it only takes 2 seconds to look over the sheets once it has been made to see if there is hair on it, 2) have chairs for the table in the garden.

I came to Amsterdam for the first time, it was around Christmas. I had such a wonderful stay at Hotel La Boheme! My room was cozy, it was very quite at night. Location is great - 5 minute walk from canals, museums and great restaurants. I highly recommend this place!

Excellent location and value. Easy and friendly check-in and check-out. Lobby/tables downstairs were warm and inviting. Room was surprisingly large esp. for Amsterdam, clean, and nicely furnished. Great place to stay!! Would book here again 10/10.

I stayed in a double room, cute, cozy, clean with a comfortable bed. Yes, it's 4 flights of stairs up, but that's how these smaller, boutique hotels are in Amsterdam. Who wants to stay in generic, boring hotels? The breakfast each morning was delicious. Coffee, tea available all day in reception or to make in your room. The staff is helpful and friendly. They are ready with any recommendations you may need.

Great breakfast, they serve fresh fruits, cheese, bread, croissants, granola, and several other options. The people are super friendly, and so it the cat. Rooms were medium sized, with clean bathrooms. Stairs were steep as expected. There's a tram station right outside the door, and museumplein is easily walkable. Highly worth a stay!

Our stay at Hotel La Bohème was an absolute delight. This place is a haven for cat lovers, and we couldn't have been happier with our experience. From the moment we stepped into the reception/cafe, we were greeted by Jacky, the resident hotel cat. It was heartwarming to see how well cared for she was, adding an extra layer of warmth and charm to our stay. The cozy café, with its inviting ambiance and complimentary coffee, tea, and pastries, became our favorite spot to unwind. The thoughtfulness of providing these treats for guests truly made us feel at home and encouraged us to linger, soaking in the delightful atmosphere. Our room had a great view. Waking up to such a stunning city view was a highlight of our trip. Overall, our experience at Hotel La Bohème exceeded all expectations, and already planning a return trip. Whether you're a cat lover, a lover of cozy cafés, this hotel is sure to enchant you.

The staff was incredibly friendly and easy to talk to and the cat theming of my room and the hotel as a whole was amazing. The location is very central to tourist Amsterdam, and I felt I could get most anywhere from the hotel with a quick walk or tram ride. Jacky the cat is very cute and extremely good with people.

I stayed here for 1 week during my time in Amsterdam. The room and the shared bathrooms are very clean. The shared bathroom was always empty when I needed it. The shared bathroom is only shared between three people which I liked. A sink is included inside the room so I didn't have to share that. There is also a friendly cat who greets guests in the breakfast area. I am a cat person so I loved that! They always cleaned my room when I added the sign to clean the room on my door. They always gave me clean towels. The employees at the front desk are very knowledgeable about the area and public transportation. I often asked them about the public transport and they were always happy to assist. Tea and coffee were available at no additional cost for everyone throughout the day. The location was fantastic! I felt very safe as a solo female traveller at this hotel and the Liedesplein area in general. There were also some things that I didn't like. The heating system wasn't working well and it got pretty chilly in the basement. The hooks in the shower are very narrow to hold anything so my clothes often fell down and got wet. There is no conditioner provided. They only provide one product to use as shampoo and body wash. Their body wash and shampoo combo product sucks! There is also a bunch of damp smell by the bathroom area. I expected narrow stairs but I couldn't even comfortably place my foot on the stairs. My advice to anyone booking here is to pack light. It gets quite difficult to carry your luggage down the stairs. I am pretty used to dropping off my key at the front desk when I go out for the day, but I wasn't able to do that here. I understand that the front desk is not open late at night. I wasn't staying out late but they still wouldn't let me drop off my key and pick it up in the evening.
