I’m not sure if it’s a coincidence or if something has gone wrong here but I have unfortunately yet to have a good experience here. I am a regular guest of the Flying Dutchman of the same owners and my experience has been night and day. The service has been painfully slow. The three times I have visited it has taken upwards of 20minutes to be seated, even on a quiet evening. Then being served drinks is a slow process again. When the cocktails came, I found them to be unimaginative and expensive, especially compared to their upstairs counterparts. When paying upwards of 15eur, it is reasonable to expect something innovative or a classic cocktail that has been perfected. The decoration and the vibe is excellent but the service is painfully slow. I hope this place can work on either training their staff to be more attentive or find people who can help this bar to live up to its full potential. I would advise to go upstairs, or elsewhere for the time being.

Cozy place to hang out, quality crafted tasty cocktails and drinks, nice groovy music in low volume to "dress" the venue. Pay a visit or two for sure!

The food was okay, nothing special but better than I expected. 15 euros for a burger was kinda pricey, taking into account that the bun looked like store-bought and no fries were included. The cocktails were very simple, not outstanding, not really worth it. My 5 star goes for the service though, our waiter and the bartender we talked to were very very friendly and professional, thank you!

A very wholesome experience! You first just spend a moment appreciating the interior, everything to the smallest detail. Even "unwrapping" the menu was an act of itself and a talking point. Loved the theme of said menu very much, a lot of creative work went into crafting these cocktails and descriptions (would maybe appreciate just a bit more mentions of allergens, like what zest is used and other small things). The taste was great too! So far Aye-Aye is my favorite, but I'll come back to try more. We spend solid 5 hours without even noticing, what a great place!

Awesome cocktail bar in the middle of Amsterdam! The inside is super cool, and we got invited to the opening of their new spot because we'd been to their other place, the Flying Dutchman. It was an amazing time. As soon as you walk in, it feels like you've stepped into something special. They've got tasty snacks that go perfectly with their great cocktails – you could chill there for hours. Only thing, the cocktails are a bit on the smaller side compared to other places, and the way they look could be more fun. Still, big thanks for the awesome experience! Overall, it's a top spot for tasty drinks and a cool vibe.

One of the BEST cocktail bars in Amsterdam! Every single one of the cocktails was perfectly balanced, amazingly executed ! and beautifully presented! One of our favourite spots! You really have to go at this bar !! It’s a must see in Amsterdam ! The cocktails are amazing and the people who work there are so friendly and cool!!

Cocktails were average at best. We had 2- neither was nice, but not bad enough to send back. Service was ok, on slowish side. No one at the front to greet you or show you to table. You just walk in and have to assume tables are free.

Cocktails tasted watered-down. Staff was friendly, sandwiches and fries VERY good.

Amazing atmosphere and the bartenders are the best. Very friendly and know their stuff. I recommend the sirens call!
