Super cozy French restaurant with authentic food made with care, and attentive staff. Strongly recommended!! We came here to celebrate my bf’s birthday. Everything we had was super fresh and perfectly cooked. The fondue was one of the best I’ve ever had! The atmospheric was very cozy with homey decoration. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Price was very reasonable. Definitely my fav French place in town and we will come again!

Such a cozy and delicious hidden gem on one of the silent corners of Amsterdam. Service is very good, Staff quick and caring. Escargots were served different than original French serving but very well prepared. Raclette is also very well served and rich in taste.

Very nice restaurant if you like cheese, it was a great experience. We chose for the raclette oven, it was very tasty and fun, but very hot.. I'd recommend ordering this only in winter. Next time I'd try the cheese fondue.

Triple A experience! Amazing fondue, amazing staff and amazing desserts 😊 We we’re lucky to get a table without a reservation. We treated ourselves to delicious fondue with mushrooms and cold cuts. These were extremely tasty on their own. The portion was really enough for two people leaving just the right space for a selection of desserts. I also loved their elderflower lemonade. And kudos to the lovely staff who made us feel at home 😊

This is a beautiful hidden maybe not so hidden gem in the heart of Amsterdam. The food is beyond amazing. I truly enjoyed a cream artichoke soup that was beyond expectations. The French bottle of Pinot Noir was super! The fondue and meat selections was fantastic. But more important then any thing else was the owner and the staff. They were the kindest most incredible individuals. I truly hope and pray for their much continued success. This is a most for all to go and eat! The dessert was also something superb! Again you must go here you will not be disappointed at all. The decor is great.

Great fondue experience in Amsterdam. Nice staff, great food.

The place looks nice and authentic inside. The service is also fine, but I miss that time when I visited restaurants in Paris and in each of them, I was served a baguette and water without extra charge, which is not customary here... As for food, Foie gras was nice and prepared well, but I didn't like at all potato gratin. The dish was too simple even for a home chef and just not delicious.

The restaurant specialized in serving traditional Savoyard cuisine from French alps. Once you entered, you’d feel like you are in a real chalet. Friendly service. The cheesy gratin de crozets would be overwhelming for 1 person bcs it’s quite heavy. Escargot and coq au vin were nicey cooked. Lastly, the passionfruit sorbet was 🙌 so refreshing!

Bistrot des Alpes is a restaurant not to be missed in Amsterdam, both for the lovers of Savoyarde food and culture and of amazing food. This place is inspired in the french region of the Haute Savoie. Wood, skis, cute items and the unmistakable scent of cheese. If you are either a lover of the alpine cuisine or wishes to indulge in fine dining and delicious food, do not miss this place. All is, not only authentic, but very high quality. Staff is absolutely amazing! Attentive, polite, extremely knowledgeable of food and wine, and they go beyond to make your experience here remarkable. I have no words to express how staff here is more than great. Whatever your choice is, you cannot go wrong. Escargots, raclette, fondues, deserts, all is amazing. Wine list is carefully selected which includes excellent samples of wines from Savoie. Do not hesitate to ask suggestions from the extremely knowledgeable staff on food and wine. They know what they are talking about. I highly recommend Bistrot des Alpes to all who wish to eat well, have a great evening, be happy and make others happy!

This evening was brisk, dining outdoors, however we were very satisfied. The restaurant has great attention to detail and makes the experience very enjoyable. The portions are generous and the quality of the ingredients impressive. We were happy with the wine, bread to start, and all courses from start to finish. Definitely don’t hesitate to dine here!

This place is awesome. Once you enter you feel like you have gone to the mountains. The interior is all wooden which gives an alpine atmosphere. The staff is so friendly and very helpful. We ordered escargots and foie gras for starters. Both were really delicious. And then we enjoyed cheese fondue with some cold cuts and vegetables. We already booked the next time to go next month as there is a lot to try and we are excited to see more of this place!

If you love cheese and cold meats, then this is the place to be. I cannot go skiing this year unfortunately and being here brings me back to cold crisp air after skiing and very good quality food. The wines are great and service is friendly and not intrusive. Desserts are also good.

Amazing service. They really put a lot of attention to every detail making it a perfect evening. The food itself is delicious as well and comes with the sophisticated twist that we love French cuisine for.

A cosy restaurant in a silent street (just like a hidden gem). Smell of melted cheese welcomes you as you enter. We ordered trout as we wanted to eat fish but didn’t expect much from a ‘trout’ however!!! It was absolutely surprisingly very very delicious!! The whole plate was mouth watering with the sauce (hollandaise) and the sides. They were out of creme brule, so we ordered tarte citron which was again very delicious! The waiters were very hospitable and helpful with positive attitude. We felt very welcome and were very happy to have chosen this restaurant for our last dinner in Amsterdam (of this trip :)

This might have been one of the most flavorful meals of my life. My husband and I came for dinner and were blown away. I got the duck and he got the trout, both were outstanding. The beers and dessert were delicious too ❤️ I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a romantic time

The wine we had was fantastic!! They had a great selection. Small, but very good. The food was okay, but nothing special. The restaurant is really cute and cozy.

Very cozy Alpine vibe place. Great option for snowy (if you are lucky Amsterdam) winter evening. Nice selection of wine, but not great. Cool design, more or less attentive personnel. We had fondue for 2 people. Definitely enough to share.

It was a great and special trip. We know raclette from Germany quite differently and so it was very exciting for us. We enjoyed it very much, it was fun and tasted great. The wine and beer recommendations of the waitress were also great. We definitely recommend it!

Had the Gratin de Croquets and it was the best meal I had during my stay in Amsterdam. Quaint little place that's great for a date or foursome.

Maybe the most charming restaurant I have ever been to. So romantic.

We try the raclette and fondue to share (you need to order for one less, it’s too much food!) All super yummy 🤤 😋 Very nice staff 😊 The aperol spritz was not good, but all the rest was 💯

Was recommended to try this place by my colleagues. Fantastic good, gorgeous wine, great service. I will definitely come back here.

Super yummy & cosy! Directly transported in warm winter vibes with chill tunes, we feel comfy and we eat good quality product from beginning to the end. The Red wine from savoie its something you have to try, enjoy the foie gras poêlé melt on your tongue and closed eyes, savour those tasty cheese and charcuterie. Planches/boards of fromages, charcuterie are served with ultra-small pieces but abundant for raclette !

The best French food in Amsterdam without a doubt. Deliciously authentic -you can tell they are using high quality ingredients from the region. When we read the menu we wondered if the food would live up to our expectations & it surpassed them - even the meal boxes for home are delicious & easy to prepare. So pleased we found this restaurant!

Amazing food and service. One of the best fondues I've had. Quickly became one of my favourite restaurants in Amsterdam!

Raclette sandwich was excellent, fresh bread toasted to perfection! Glühwein also delish. Grab lunch and enjoy on the nearby canal.
