The interior of this restaurant is brilliant, the staff is awesome and professional, but in my opinion not every dish we got served was at the same level and that’s okay except the unfortunately some were quite disappointing. The amuses were delightful, super delicious and brilliant starter for our meal. Some of the plates were really brilliant and unbelievably delicious, I loved particularly the gyozas and the main course with the steak. Other plates were mediocre and especially one of the desserts with carmelised apple was quite bad actually. The drink pairings were fine but nothing memorable. I thank the restaurant chefs and staff in all cases. We had a lovely night and I hope you are not bothered by my honest review.

As first-time visitors to Amsterdam, we hoped to sample some fresh-caught seafood from the north Atlantic. This Michelin starred restaurant surpassed our expectations. We had the 4-course lunch menu on a Saturday, and the remarkably imaginative preparations and presentations of mackerel, razor clams, oysters, kingfish and cod lifted us onto a culinary Platonic plane of perfection. Here are more detailed descriptions: Amuses bouches -- 1. Macaroon with smoked mackerel + yogurt (macaroon enclosing a yogurty inside flavored of smoked mackerel); 2. Baharat crisp with razor clam + leek (baharat-spiced rice cracker cradling a mixture of creme, razor clam in small pieces and pureed leek; 3. grilled oyster in small pieces, in a foamy oystery sauce with champaigne ice cream and crispy pieces] Main courses -- 1. Kingfish in dashi with bergamot frozen pearls + japanese dried fruit + daikon slices; 2. Corn: baby and sweet, with minced mushrooms and grilled pearl onion, a baby corn leaf, served in a green leaf cracker, with corn sauce; 3. Slow cooked cod with Artichoke ‘Barigoule’ (a typical French preparation), with two sauces -- herb oil + buerre Blanc. Puffed potato topping. Jalepeno powder on potato and diced in sauce. The cod melted in the mouth. For desert -- Salted popcorn, porcini ice cream. Bacon. Dark chocolate. Grilled lemon jam. Sounds odd; was sublime. Bravo to the chef, and bravo-brava to the delightful staff. Huzzah!

This place has been on my list for over a year and yesterday we found ourselves without any plans for dinner so a quick reservation (highly recommended) we decided a table and 7 course meal. The restaurant is inside of the hotel Krasnopolsky and very lavishly decorated while maintaining it's classical appeal. The kitchen is also leaning towards classic food but has a modern touch. We appreciated the opportunity to join the chef on this dining adventure a lot. We opted out for half a glass wine pairing each, which is why today I still have the memory of the dinner :) wines were paired perfectly and we enjoyed it a lot. What stood out for me is the amuse with three way onion preparation - that has a unique flavor and excellent presentation. Adored the way it kind of exploded in my mouth. And the langoustine! Divine! Served with butter poached white asparagus to underline the delicate profile of the whole dish. Lamb was cooked to perfection! Service is notably trained and the execution of the meal serving was timely - both kitchen and the wait staff worked in tune. Little touches of attention were noted and the Michelin star is well deserved

I recently had the pleasure of dining at the White Room. The culinary creativity displayed throughout the courses was exceptional, but what truly stood out was the unparalleled originality of the dessert. Each dish was a work of art, and the dessert, in particular, was a stunning masterpiece that merged unexpected flavors with flawless execution. Furthermore, the wine pairing was exquisite. The service provided was not only professional but also incredibly friendly, adding an extra layer of warmth to the overall dining experience..

Very nice room for this starred restaurant (1 star) and a profusion of crockery, large plates, raised dishes to serve a menu of 7 dishes, each of which is the size of a tablespoon for the little ones, and 2 or 3 for the larger ones that fit comfortably in a saucer or dessert plate. It was good, but too small an amount doesn't really allow you to appreciate and taste a dish. And I left still hungry, because the quantity was not enough, neither the proteins nor the fibers and the vegetables and the desserts were too sweet. And in addition the service was very slow while the dishes were eaten more than quickly given the small quantity. So disappointing for a menu over a hundred euros. Note that one of the 7 dishes on the menu was bread with olive oil; which is served free of charge at the start of a meal in all the starred restaurants I know. And i prefer a menu with 3 dishes to enjoy longer the taste of the food.

the menu is from December. winter menu. It was a good experience. The most interesting dish for us was the dessert - mushroom ice cream served with crispy bacon, popcorn and dark chocolate. Only the cocktail I drank was extremely disappointing...

Great experience. Everything is well done. None of the dishes blew me away but everything was good and the service was fantastic. Portions are very small but that was expected. Very pretty place.

Birthday dinner with my SO. We did the gold dinner menu. Food and service was impeccable. Great wine service with a focus on customer satisfaction. Very knowledgeable sommelier with an excellent desert wine recommendation.

If you find yourself in Amsterdam and over the frites, falafel and pancake scene, go to the white room. We chose to do the green menu and try the vegetarian cuisine. Nothing about this menu was basic, standard or, expected. They say it's a 7-course meal, we ended up with 11 or 12 courses. It is a 3- hr experience but will worth it. One of my all time favorite meals.

Went for a business dinner. Fine dining. Excellent food and service. Beautiful decor. Quiet ambience. Creative menu and ingredients. Knowledgeable staff. In the NH Hotel. Convenient taxi stand right in front. Recommended for business or special occasions.

My experience at this restaurant was truly exceptional. The food was not only delicious, but also innovative and thoughtfully crafted. Each dish was plated with incredible attention to detail, resulting in a stunning visual presentation that was almost too beautiful to eat. The chefs clearly put a lot of effort into designing the way the food looks, and the taste matched the impressive visuals. In addition to the outstanding food, the restaurant's ambiance was absolutely stunning. With its grand high ceilings and elegant gold decor, the White Room truly embodies luxury and sophistication. The combination of the exquisite food and the opulent surroundings made for an unforgettable dining experience. The service was also top-notch, with staff members who were thorough and attentive. They went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of our meal was perfect, from the recommendations they provided to the small details they took care of. Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a special dining experience. It is clear that the chefs, staff, and designers have put a lot of effort into creating a memorable experience for their customers, and I can't wait to go back and enjoy it all over again.

This is excellent restaurant! The place is beautifully decorated, the dishes are delicious and accurate, fish and pigeons and other interesting things: with molecular cooking and new flavors we were unfamiliar with. With wines that suit each dish and have a different taste. The desserts are both beautiful and delicious and so many! The staff is lovely and very helpful! The latte macchiato coffee is very tasty and served in a very beautiful way! Totally worth a visit.

This is the first time ever we have dined at a Michelin Star restaurant. We had the Green Menu and wine pairing. Both were excellent. The tastes and flavours were genuinely unlike anything we have had before, food was delicious. Worth every penny (euro!). Service was great, staff extremely knowledgeable but not imposing. Atmosphere was relaxed. Thank you for a fantastic experience.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at The White Room and had an absolutely amazing experience. The staff were all fantastic, going above and beyond to make our anniversary celebration special. The fine dining food was truly outstanding and the wine pairings were great, adding to the overall enjoyment of the meal. One thing that really stood out to me about The White Room was the level of service. The staff were all very accommodating, making sure that we had a great time and were comfortable throughout the meal. They were also very flexible when it came to timing, allowing us to linger and enjoy the experience at our own pace. Overall, I cannot recommend The White Room enough. The staff, food, and overall experience were all top-notch and made for a truly memorable evening. If you are looking for an amazing fine dining experience, I highly recommend giving The White Room a try.

Ate here with my son for his 16th birthday. It was his first encounter with a Michelin star restaurant and he was very impressed with the ambiance, staff and food! It's a beautiful restaurant with very pleasant and professional staff. The food and wine pairing were fantastic!

What an experience. My first proper dining experience after COVID. The expertise and passion is dripping from the walls. An established restaurant that has innovated and truly shows what a love for gastronomy can achieve. Worthy of its star. From the amuse to the dessert. It has truly been great!

The experience was overall very good. The service was also good. We had the 7 course menu. My favorite was the corn ice cream with oysters. I was slightly disappointed because I didn’t get the apple desert that I saw many times thru the pictures. I am pretty sure the apple desert was awesome. But it was very very good.

Great food, but the service was really really slow

Personally, I don't like the styling of the interior. The main theme is white (obviously) with faux gold. There are some pillars and paintings of landscapes in the doorpanels which aren't very well done. They've gone for a classical look but I think they totally missed their mark. Regarding the food: we've had a 6 course dinner with wine pairing. Some dishes were surprising, interesting and delicious. Others were, like the interior, a bit boring and I think missing their mark (the mackerel was my favorite, very good. The grouse not so much). The staff was lovely. We've really enjoyed their service and I think these people have made our evening a special one.

Food is good but service is very slow if you sign up for 5 course menu then free up the evening coz by the time you finish it’s midnight. The time between each course is forever I was about to divorce my wife and run away before we got our first service. The wine selection is poor (2 out of 5) and much less than the food selection. If you have options don’t come here … The staff are friendly and trying hard to please

During our Christmas dinner reservation something went wrong in the communication, we were directly compensated with apologies & champagne on the house. Very thoughtful. The dishes we’re amazing, very tasty and rich of flavor. The staff was fast and friendly. You can tell the portions are very well thought of. Overall a very good experience.

Great experience, and the waiters and sommelier are exceptionally service oriented. The ambience and design of the room is beautiful and relaxing. The food and wine pairing was excellent. Perhaps it compares a little bit more to a one star Michelin instead of two stars.

The experience was nothing short of extraordinary. From the impeccable service to the artfully crafted dishes, each moment was a culinary delight. The chef's innovative approach to combining flavors and textures showcased a true mastery of the culinary arts. The attention to detail in presentation and the use of high-quality, locally sourced ingredients elevated the dining experience to new heights. Every dish felt like a symphony of flavors dancing on my palate, leaving me with a lasting impression of culinary excellence. The ambiance, coupled with the impeccable service, created an atmosphere of refined elegance. Without a doubt, this Michelin-starred gem has earned its prestigious reputation, providing a gastronomic journey that lingers in the memory long after the last bite.

amazing experience! We took the menu of the 5 dishes, we really liked that before serving the dishes they brought us 3 dishes towards the dishes to enhance the dining experience, the place is stunning and the service is amazing.

Greet service and the food is crazy good!! This is a Michellen star restaurant, so the food is unique. I recommend ordering a 5 course meal in the evening menu. Also there is a bit of a dress code, wear closed shoes and long pants, no need for a suite jacket.
