Fantastic staff.. super friendly and helpful, they brew their own beer.. make sure to try some of the local they brew.. it’s very good. They have a smoking area outside overlooking the canal and the ambience and location are pretty awesome too. Highly recommended 👍👍

We visited this local dutch brewery for beer degustation. This brewery has 3 beers (white Antonia, de blonde Barbieri and de manke monnik) I belive the third one is very tastfull with fruit essence and aroma ) We also ordered fried chicken and Dutch meatballs . Both of them very good with salt , great taste and big portion . Also there are big benches outside the brewery in front of the canals ,perfect place to sit and relax . Inside the brewery is very cozy and traditional. A great experience in Amsterdam , without tourists ,only locals , and has nothing to do with Heineken tourist trap experience . Least but not last the service is very quick , and the staff is kind ,helpful with the menu and the choosing of beers (especially the Greek waiter from thesaloniki was a great help for choosing our beers)

Nice authentic brewery in the heart of the red light district. Amongst all touristy places around, this is a unique brewery with nice own brewed beers and other selections as well. The mix "plank" or table of food was tasty as well. Recommended and fair price as well.

Fantastic place with a pleasant atmosphere. Here they make their own beers and pilsner. You can traya tray of their different home brew for €10.95 which gives you a great way to sample their delights. The food is very flavourful including their freshly baked beer bread with their beer butter which accompanied the bread. It has a slight hint of cinnamon which gives the bread a very unique flavor. You can watch the Master Brewer at work right in front of your eyes. The staff are extremely friendly and will answer your questions. Will definitely be back should I return to Amsterdam.

We didn't try their food so I cannot speak to that aspect. Of the three main beers from this brewery, they only had 2 available. They were both fair. I enjoyed the fact that I could get a sampler flight here. It was a decent atmosphere and a nice place to hang out.

Fantastic location in the hustle and bustle close to the Nieuwmarkt. Great atmosphere and a perfect place to wine and dine. Or .. to beer and dine. Nice mix of small tables for two or four and at the back large tables for groups. Loved the beers and loved the place. Definately coming back for the ribs.

One of the worst places in Amsterdam in terms of service in my opinion. Waitresses not only ignored us, but was openly rude. I honestly do not understand why the owners of this place cannot bring the work of waiters to an acceptable level.

Don’t miss this local beer bar when you’re in Amsterdam. The food is very good too. A great place to sit and watch the world go by.

The best “Rib-Eye” steak is here! All are super special, meat, gravy sauce… I love it so much, never felt very good like this before. But “Old Amsterdam onion soup” was quite bitter, not my type. I understand “Fresh Mint Tea” was from real tea leaves! (Mint leaves in my country are something easy to find at market) Recommendation : Rib-eye definitely 💯

Went for a private event. Food was great. Had a chicken skewer with peanut sauce that was delicious. Followed by a light but rich chocolate cake. Good quality and portions.

Went here with a tour group and our waiter Markus was very accommodating and polite, he even took several pictures of our group for us! The food and atmosphere were AMAZING, 5 stars all around, we even met the Manager Odysseus!

Went here with a group some months ago. Good service, fine prices. But please stop playing fist-pumping techno all the time. Are you trying to be a pub or a club? It definitely royally ruins any atmosphere of the place. Also clean your toilets every once in a while; they were beyond disgusting when we visited.

Beautiful restaurant! Both the manager and the waiter, Markus, were very attentive and kind to our group! I'm vegan and the burger was one of the best I've ever had! And the chocolate cake was very yummy :)

I really like their beers! Can definitely recommend going here for the beer. The food wasn't my favourite, it was tasty but not great and portion size a bit small for the prize.

The best beer I had all the time I was in Amsterdam. Staff were very friendly and the beer was great.

I was so sad last Friday when I tried, as every month, to have a beer here with some friends. We were 8 people, normally I had never experienced a situation like that. The manager, who I know since I am a regular client, told me that we could not seat anywhere *upstairs was completely empty and back room also...* and that he has not an obligation to have us or give us an explanation... While I can understand that he has all the rights on not having me and my group I could not understand their manners....

The bacon burger was delicious and super filling. Also had the chocolate cake. ABSOLUTELY SUPERB! Thank you to the entire wait staff for a great experience!

Really nice craft beer bar, with their own brewery, they had flight/sampler specials. 4 awesome beers and some amazing bottled selections from other breweries. Service was a little slow but worth the wait

Of the 3 home brewed beers on tap I loved the Witte Antonia. Superb beer. Ended up staying for a few hours until we got hungry and decided to have a steak. Decent size, well cooked and great value for money. Definately worth a stop.

Lovely place. They have their own beer brewery, looks amazing. I absolutely loved the Flammkuchen and the Old Amsterdam Onion Soup, definitely a recommendation. I will certainly come again!

Such a special place. Cozy interior and amazing craft beers. There's even a brewery inside where they craft their own beers. Loved the experience and the service was so friendly. One of my new favourite bars / restaurants to visit in Amsterdam :) p.s. the location couldn't be more central!

The waitress bring to me a fresh mint tea that another client drank at the cup from the bar We have ordered and about 40 min still not have our order They called « fresh mint tea » something with only hot water and mint… that’s not calling « tea » but more « hot infused mint ». I highly do not recommend

Very good place to eat and drink homemade beers. Fair prices and good service, bartenders are quick and very helpfull. Would recommend for a night out in Amsterdam.

This place is amazing! They brew their own beers which are very tasty and unique, the food is also very good! Roan is super helpful and kind! Highly recommend it!

Stumbled upon this place whilst wondering around and so glad that we decided to stop for a drink and food. Great seating outside watching the boats and people pass by. We had a couple of pints of Heineken and some snacks including fries, onion rings, cheese and ham toasty and chicken strips. All food was 10/10 and service was immaculate. Would recommend to anyone in the area or even to people who are willing to travel here!
