👍👍 Just had the best brunch ever. I was just planning to eat one of the delicious baked goods, but then I saw the waiter serving some customer the Bakers Pumpkin Tostada Salad (€10) and I immediately thought I should get that, and I am happy that I did. It was as delicious as it looks🤩 I also ordered... People often mention brunch, good, nice, coffee, service, eggs, wait, breakfast, super, pancakes,

Just had the best brunch ever. I was just planning to eat one of the delicious baked goods, but then I saw the waiter serving some customer the Bakers Pumpkin Tostada Salad (€10) and I immediately thought I should get that, and I am happy that I did. It was as delicious as it looks🤩 I also ordered Mississippi Mud Cake (€5). It is one of the best chocolate cake I’ve ever tries. Fudgy and dense. The slice is huge, really worth to try. I would definitely come back here to try the other cakes and pancakes😍 I got Caramel Slice (€3.50) for my friend and she really liked that one too! I also wanted to write that the service was great, all employees were really nice and helpful☺️

10/10 recommend🌟 but one thing to note - they are not cheap as they said. The average of food here is around EUR15-18 but the quality def paid off! This smoked salmon Stack (EUR20) is irresisible! It’s a hash cake ver egg royale ha! The potato hash cakes are awesome, a bit crunchy on the outside. The other one is B&R Special (EUR16)! What’s so special about is the pancake there is blueberries inside it! It gives you all the nutrients and energy you needed for the day!

The service is real fast and friendly. The food is even better. Have nothing to complain about. The banana nut bread with banana sauce served with crispy bacon and strawberries are heavenly delicious. Hot chocolate is intense and creamy

Great brunch place. We ordered two breakfast dishes and both of them were delicious. The cakes looked really good but since we were already full, we didn't have any.

10 out of 10. Amazing experience. Very very good place for brunch with plenty of options, whether savory or sweet. They have healthy options and less helathier. The attention has been wonderful. The quality of the food is very good, as is the price. The hollandaise sauce is very rich, and the eggs are extraordinary. The coffee is intense and very good. It is a 100% recommended site, I plan to repeat many times.

As they say, they are not cheap. But being pricey for amazing food is no shame. Portions are abundant and well done. Everything was delicious and meticulously done and prepared. They are popular and they deserve it. If you want to have a nice brunch without going over the moon, this is the place that combines great vibes with a high standard. By the way, amazing carrot cake and fruit bowl!!!

Great brunch restaurant in the heart of Amsterdam! Unique flavors worth trying! A reservation is a must, place gets super busy on all days!

Great food and service. I want to try the whole menu. Usually I don't like going to places where we can't book a table, but there waitlist system work well and I could enjoy a coffee next door while waiting for my text message. Will definitely go back!

Delicious! You have to scan the QR code at the entrance and book you will enter in the online queue with the time you have to wait. So if it is written 30 minutes queue you can walk around and come back in 30 minutes when you seats will be free. Easy and convenient! Nice atmosphere. Food DELICIOUS with different options for all taste and dietary restrictions. Negative point: once ordered, we (were 3) waited 40 minutes ... that is a lot. Maybe it was exceptional...

The best breakfast in amstrdam!!! They have a great selection of breakfasts for for everybody, inc vegetarian and vegan. If you come at peak time there is a waiting list but its worth it. And one more pro tip: get a milkshake!

The breakfast was awesome! They also have vegan options. The coffee is great and the staff is also really nice. On the weekend you should make a reservation but you can easily do that online. If you want a table for more than four people it is also possible, you just have to write an email. Total recommendation.

How is this place STILL so good? The original brunch place in Amsterdam! I forgot service, coffee and food could be this good. The vegan options are limited but who cares when they are so perfect. I had the vegan brekkie. Partner had the salmon stack. The place was busy but we got seated and served promptly. Still a bottle of tap water put immediately on the table. The service was professional and pleasant. Can’t wait to come back and have the other vegan option. Other brunch places do not compare!!

Definitely worth the trip! Lived up to all expectations and all the reviews were definitely true online! Loved the food and the service and can’t wait to come back for more. Tastes were all so well balanced and nothing was too salty nor bland. Looking forward to coming back here in the future!

Best brunch in Amsterdam! Bakers & Roasters is my favourite cafe in town, I discovered this place over 6 years ago and I always come here when I travel to Amsterdam. The food is amazing, so much flavour and good ingredients. The service is as good as the food, super friendly and caring. I’ve visited both locations, this one is bigger so you might get a table easier however I think I prefer a bit more the De Pijp location, to me it feels more cozy. Do make a reservation in advance or even register in the waiting list when you are on your way, to save some time. The pancakes are to die for and the Kiwi Brekkie is just perfect! Cafe is really good. Juices are also nice, small size tho. They have a super nice outside area and the inside area has 2 floors. Thanks to the team! Always a pleasure

Hospitality - 4/5 Selection - 3/5 Quality of Food - 3/5 Overall - 3.5/5 Being a fan of New Zealand style coffee we were excited to try this local place out! We were forewarned about the wait and did so for about 45 minutes. So just be aware this place is known and hip, so check in as early as you can via their QR code/App. We walked in and were greeted, and got to choose from siting upstairs or on the ground level. We chose to sit up stairs. This was a good option and got a quaint table in the corner. We got a second to review the menu before getting greeted by the waitress. My wife and I both decided on the flat white, as this is our favorite. To our surprise, after reading the review’s, the coffee was just okay. You could tell the coffee was either stale or slightly over roasted. Something was just off. As for the food we chose the eggs benny and chorizo burrito. The eggs benny was nice and wasn’t over powered by the hollandaise sauce. So good I lost it half way though the meal by my wide. She chose the chorizo burrito, and was expecting more of a traditional chorizo. This was something different. She did however enjoy the chipotle sauce that came with it and put that down with the potatoes without a problem. Overall, we did enjoy Bakers & Roasters, but we don’t say it was not worth the wait time.

The B&R special was the perfect mix of sweet and savory. The chipotle cream paired so well with the breakfast potatoes, and the chais and lattes were amazing. The bacon was too salty, and my poached eggs were a little overdone, but overall I would definitely eat here again.

We Google for a eating place near us and found Bakers & Roasters for our brunch on Christmas eve. This place is cozy and comfy. The service is good and prompt, and the food to our liking. Happy customers and will visit again if only they are open on Christmas day 😀 Thanks for the experience

We had a very pleasant moment at Bakers & Roasters. We took 2 brunches and extra american pancakes and this was, honnestly, one of the best brunches we have ever had (as having a brunch is an habit we have each time we visit a city). We took respectivly the kiwi and veggie brekkie : fresh ingredients, huge plates, eggs perfectly prepared… nothing more to add. I can add as well that people there were all very kind and professional. We will recommend your brunch to anyone who wants to visit Asterdam, not doubt :-) ! Thank you all for this experience.

Make sure you sign up via their wait list, so you don't miss out! This place is amazing. The food is generous and extremely tasty - the pancakes are possibly the best I've had! Great selection of drinks (Ozone coffee is a real hit) and the service was friendly and efficient. Highly recommend!

Excellent place. Good choice of brunches. Tasteful desserts. The carrot cake is awesome, my love :) The banana cake is too sweet.

Excellent NZ-style brunch place, with many options for Vegans or Vegetarians. We love the harissa tofu scramble, and the French toast. They have oat and soy milk available as well. Very friendly service with plenty of seatings available. During busy periods, you will have to join a wait list. Highly recommend for families and couples! Head to the Waterlooplein thrift market nearby after brunch.

We loved this brunch place! We made a reservation online but for the wrong day, yet the waiter was extremely kind and moved us forward to the correct day. Even if you don’t book in advance, they offer an option to join a virtual queue and return when you are next in line. The service was very good and prompt. We also loved our food, and were spoiled for choices on the menu, as everything looked great (including the cakes). I particularly loved the pancakes in my breakfast, as well as the Power Shake.

Delicious brunch but the service very very slow. We had to wait 1 h to see the first plate and coffe.

A great cozy place with very nice staff. Excellent brunch plate and a really nice vibe. A little bit on the expensive side though...but well worth it.

About a 30 minute wait on a Tuesday, this place is busy! Love that you can enter an electronic queue online. Pancakes and cappucino were great. Lovely upbeat staff. We did feel that we were being upsold to order sides for our dishes. Other than that, everything was perfect! We will return.

This location is really overhyped. The staff weren’t particularly warm and the food was mediocre (there are also no or dairy vegan options). We got the high stack pancakes and eggs benny - there’s usually a line/waitlist and we waited 45 minutes for our food, despite making a reservation. I think this place is for tourists. Good coffee though!

Delicious brunch options, the vanilla milkshake is to die for and the staff will make sure that you enjoy your time! (Special mention to the lovely waitress who made sure to write down all the instructions to taste the best apple pie in Amsterdam)

Of the Bakers & Roasters in Amsterdam, I’ve popped into the one near plantage. The location is exquisite, just along a canal in front of ah airy square. The pancakes were rather good, maybe the icing sugar on top was too… sugary? But really tasty! I was only disappointed by the restricted selection of coffee options, but overall it’s a good breakfast place and the staff is super. Nice morning spent there 👍

Tasty and beautifully presented. Great coffee and juice. 35 euros for two people is fair. We’ll come back. Five stars without a doubt. Also service is perfect.

One of the best places for brunch and breakfast. I love this place with so tasty smoothies (special with spinach). Not so far from Museums quartile. The staff is super nice and friendly. Definitely recommend this place ❤️

Was an amazing experience. The staff was friendly and quick with everything. The best was being able to get eggs Benedict and eggs Florentine on gluten-free bread. Make reservations!!

After a pretty ‘unhealthy’ weekend, I wanted to eat something which was not super heavy and unhealthy. Unfortunately, my mate who was visiting me from the UK wanted to go to a nice brunch place. And as we all know nice brunch = buttery toast, poached eggs, bacon and pancakes. Unwillingly, I took him to bakers and roasters. While he ordered what we all consider a ‘nice brunch’, I had this power bowl which was exactly what I was looking for on a nice Sunday morning. The power bowl consisted of black beans, scrambled egg whites, grilled chicken, garlicky spinach, brown rice and a scoop of cottage cheese. I was not disappointed at all. Its safe to say that we both came out of this place full and happy. Their flat white with oat milk was also pretty decent and to top it off, the staff was really friendly and helpful. The only negative was that it was a little pricey but hey we can all splurge once in a while right?

This place is great! The bloody Mary, mimosa, and all the dishes are super well done! Service wise is super friendly.. and has no dutch people working here so… never a bad face, always friendly! I come here super often and that won’t change!

Perfect brunch spot, amazing dishes and super friendly staff. We had several very tasty dishes and drinks. Everything was superb. Their bacon is super crispy and fresh, poached eggs are cooked to perfection. We enjoyed the visit! Note that on busy days, like Sundays, there can be an hour or more waiting time and they don’t allow ordering a table online. So come early, sign up on the waitlist and sit for a coffee in the adjacent coffee place. Also try searching “waitlist bakersroasters” to get a link to the wait list sign up page.

Really recommend the navajo eggs dish. The B&R special was good too, but would have been better with some butter for the bread. Both egg dishes were completely unsalted and even though salt & pepper was on the table, I personally think its never as good as properly seasoning the eggs while preparing them. Nonetheless, definitely check it out.

We were recommended to taste this brunch know as one of the best of the city. The Kiwi Brekkie is excellent. I loved the extra avocado. All products were fresh and well cooked. The bacon and sausage were nicely grilled. The pancakes were excellent. Very soft with red fruits inside. You need to try it ! We had a really good brunch.

Our first time here as we are staying local, the host was pleasant, the coffee was really nice, we even had some cookie’s which were rich! The food looked amazing but we had already eaten breakfast. We both agreed we should come back

Good place to have breakfast... I can understand the hardship to get in on a weekend with a wait time of 25-30mins. So decided to come on a week day instead and got in without the wait.. Great breakfast options

  • 5/5 Joy U. 1 year ago on Google
Great place for brunch in Amsterdam. Food was amazing, juices are made fresh as ordered and service was excellent! This is a very popular spot, so it's best to get here early. If there are no free tables, you'll be given a place on the waiting list and they'll send a text when a table is free. Wait time could be around 30 minutes, but it's totally worth the wait!!

  • 5/5 Julian C. 1 year ago on Google
Had the power breakfast, eggs Benny - both are superb really nice brunch place.. service was good and fast and pretty systematic. The coffee is good too, and the most importantly the food portion is big, and they are not stingy with their ingredient. Taste is great and if I do visit Amsterdam again, will be sure to visit!
