We visited this bakery again after probably 10 years because it was just that amazing the first time. I have been recommending it to everyone who visited Amsterdam in the meantime and we are extremely happy that we got another chance this year. We had wonderful high tea there (twice). It was an absolute pleasure and one of the reasons we will always return to Amsterdam. Love it!

I dropped into De Laatste Kruimel for coffee and cake whilst exploring the streets and canals of Amsterdam. The display of cakes were mouthwatering. I took a seat in the upstairs dining area which had a great ambience and decor. I had the Rhubarb & Strawberry Crumb Cake and a Latte and both were great. The cost was just over €11 which seemed reasonable value. Would certainly recommend this cafe to anyone.

We had a breakfast at this lovely place. The decoration is cute and charming. The pastries are handmade and tasty. Vegan and salty options are avaible too. Only a couple places on the main floor but some steep stairs lead to the tea room. Definitely a place to take the breakfast or eat a delicious pastry. The service was warm and welcoming. Not to mention the french musical atmosphere which gives a unforgotten touch to this place.

Wow! The presentation in the windows is amazing. A feast for the eyes. Then you go in and it is such a cute place with two floors of seating. We had the apple cake, strawberry rhubarb cake and a cookie. And wished we could try it all as we watched them pull one amazing thing after another out of the oven. All put together inside a tiny working kitchen right there for guests to marvel over.

The place was lovely. Very colourful. The scone was wonderful. And the small breakfast had no words for the taste. I loved the strawberry jam. I have had Quiche before however Goat cheese for the first time. The juice was splendid. Very real to taste. You’ll definitely enjoy it here though. Alot of veg options also.

We visited De laatste kruimel while roaming some small streets in the city and having had quite a disappointing lunch. It really saved our afternoon. The cake and pastry display made us to taste everything. We ended up ordering scone and strawberry rhubarb cake. Both tasted amazing, not too sweet and feeling fresh. My scone was even drizzled with dried lavender <3. The staff was very friendly and helpful, smiling at every guests. The place was a bit small and could get noisy at full house. One thing to improve is the choice of music. When I was there, only a few songs kept being played and they did not seem to fit the atmosphere either.

Lovely little cafe, with a lot of sweet stuff to choose from. Can't go wrong here. Pretty packed all the time. Reserve in advance or take away.

A great breakfast option in the city centre of Amsterdam. A great selection of freshly baked pastries - you can definitely find something for anyone. It can get busy in the morning but the staff is quick so you can wait and find a seat quite quickly. The best part is the small balcony with a view to the canal. Prices are average. Totally recommend this bakery.

If you are looking for a cute breakfast, light lunch spot, this is the place. It’s a bit cozy in terms of seating, but if you are a party of two and are lucky, you can snag a seat in the back porch where you can overlook the canal. We ate here twice and couldn’t get enough of the sandwiches and freshly made scones that they serve with homemade organic jam and whip cream.

Wat a nice 'bakery cafe' Homemade Apple pie, quiches, pastries. In this small house next to the canal ( terrace for 5 people ;-)) but with pretty big 1st floor. Also perfect for take away. Well known for their pastries and also scones.

They sell pastries that are presented by the opening of the stores which looks so delicious. I however got their sandwich! First recommended was turkey ham truffle mayo. It was AMAZINNNNN the next day I went back to get Pastrami one! Can’t decide my favourite. All I can say is that it’s huge and so worth it! 7 Euros. Missing it already

Great variety in breads, cakes, and pastries. Espresso is lovely. Nondairy options include oat milk and soya milk. Ambience is cozy and welcoming. Update: we came back here for breakfast the next day and are uploading photos. We ordered a cranberry scone, the pastel de nata (Portuguese egg tart), and the leek goat cheese quiche. The scone was served with clotted cream and strawberry jam, and the quiche was served with a roasted veggie and quinoa salad. Everything was exquisite! And we got to sit on the balcony this time! Highly recommend to anyone residing in or traveling through central Amsterdam.

Came here to get a little cake for my birthday, it was tasty. I loved the carrot cake. You just walk in, pick a seat, then go up to the counter to order. They have additional seating upstairs as well.

We ended up in this cafe to hide out from the rain but who knew it would be the best sandwich in Amsterdam? The cafe is small but cozy and decorated with vintage items. We ordered tuna sandwich and chicken sandwich, which both came with a side of quinoa salad. The bread was toasted perfectly and the fillings were delicious! We'd come again to try out other sandwiches and cakes on display 🤩

I highly recommend the strawberry-rhubarb crumble cake and the zucchini cake with lemon curd. This is the dreamiest bakery in Amsterdam with very polite staff. It’s a very cozy little place and the interiors are so Disney.

While I had high expectations for the service, it unfortunately fell short on two occasions due to mistakes in our orders. Despite requesting one item, we received a different one. However, the ambiance of the place is truly delightful. The establishment boasts a charming atmosphere, complemented by a wide array of stunning cakes that add to its allure.

It is truly my favourite place in Amsterdam! Super delicious food, very friendly stuff, cozy atmosphere in the heart of the city! You should try their rabarber cake - just amazing!

How do they make such unbelievable cakes and buns?! One of the best cafes for exquisite teas and cakes This is a place not only popular with the natives but tourists alike. If you go there you HAVE to have the banana bread cake... wow! Too good to be true. It's like something from a Disney set . Recommended

Best bakery (and probably savory too)! Impeccable service, charming atmosphere. We ate here every morning of our Amsterdam stay. Absolutely delicious!

By far, one of the most amazing places I've been at. Quintessential Amsterdam experience, including the interior design. Breakfast was great, awesome cappuccino

Absolutely gorgeous cakes, fair few vegan options, lovely & welcoming staff. Not a lot of seating space, very cramped so not at all accessible or disability friendly, especially when busy. But such nice food :)

Very charming and cosy interior, smiling and helpful staff. It's a great place to stop by while walking through the city, and their pastries are actually really good. Would love a few more gluten free options on the menu, though but other than that, it's a very lovely break from city-walking.

I don’t know where to start… this place is like a dream, you find the peace in chaos :) Everything is so tasteful, service quality at it’s best, professional, fast and very friendly. It’s always a pleasure to watch such professionals doing their work, their best. We had one quiche, a sandwich, chocolate croissant and sconne, everything is delicious. Coffee is also good. I definitely recommended!

Cute bakery to stop by while walking around the city. Nice terrace by the canal but with a very limited places. A steep stair leads to the first floor with more places to sit. Had the carrot cake and it was one of the best carrot cakes I’ve ever had. The staff is friendly.

I liked this place, there a lot of different cakes, pastries, desserts. Most of them are really unique and delicious. But there is menu with normal food as well. I liked they accept cash.

The place is really nice, they have a lot of options for cakes and sandwiches. I had the salmon sandwich, it was perfect if it was less salty. And the staff can be more friendlier i hope! But it was worth the price, one of the place to go for lunch in the central of Amsterdam!

I go here every trip to Amsterdam for lunch. Today, I had a five hour layover and made a special trip into the city center just to have sandwich here. The food, the service, the lovely little patio overlooking the canal…. It’s all perfect.

Extremely sweet cafe like a little doll house with happy and kind staff. The carrot cake was very good and makes it a sweet and calm spot for breakfast or high tea.

Nice music, and atmosphere, as my boyfriend said, it's like being at home in the living room. The food is 10/10 and so is the attitude. Yes, it's busy, but the staff do their best and it's worth it, and despite being busy, we haven't waited more than 10 minutes. We will definitely visit again. Convenient location in the center of Amsterdam!🥰🥰 Thank you!❤️
