It is a large, somewhat impersonal, completely unshaded and extremely noisy campsite (we were in the tented section).Noisy because there is a large multi-lane bridge nearby, which is still very busy at night. Also noisy because of the "cigarette smokers". There are no rules and regulations - or if there are, they are not enforced. There was the smell of smoke in our tent at night. This is one of the reasons why this campsite is STRONGLY NOT RECOMMENDED WITH CHILDREN. The toilets and showers are moderately clean. The convenience store is very good (with fresh and hot pastries in the morning). And the shopkeeper is a very nice man and extremely helpful. (We bought a public transport day ticket, he told us exactly how to use it - and gave us other tips.) Well, one part of the staff is nice and helpful, the other half is very not. Prepayment is a very strange solution! (Obviously the place is doing well now and they can afford it.) We were just told by an unkind colleague on the phone to pay in advance, there is no other option. Our mixed feelings about the campsite affect the whole memory of our stay in Amsterdam, of course.

We had a really nice time at this campsite. We rented bikes on the campsite and were able to ride to the city in 15-20 minutes. Would definitely recommend choosing the pitch area with view to the water - more privacy and prettier view. Nice bath and outdoor cooking facilities. Helpful staff and nice atmosphere overall

A fantastic campsite. So convenient for getting into the centre. Staff really friendly and helpful. The facilities were really good and clean. Such a lovely setting so close to the city. The only negative for us was the bar and restaurant was only open on the weekend, but this wouldn't put us off and it would certainly be our campsite of choice when we return to the area.

Just a quick walk over the bridge to a nearby tram will take you into Amsterdam. The site was spacious and we were parked up next to a stream. The birdies were chirping all the time and this made me really happy. The staff is super friendly, it is a peaceful site with respectful campers. I look forward to staying again soon! The shop sells postcards and stamps plus a variety of essentials like yummy wine and foods.

Beautiful place, very comfortable and convenient, the showers/toilets/food places are always clean on the highest level. Happy people around, best helping workers crew that keeps the atmosphere always Up. In love with the place, it is my fourth time and I'm sure will be much more. Highly recommended!

A beautiful campsite on the outskirts of Amsterdam! You can easily get tram 14 to and from the centre of Amsterdam, running every 10mins or so. The tram stop is about a 10 minute walk over a bridge. The toilets and facilities were always clean. The staff are always there to help and give you advice! The communal cooking area is great, if you have your own pots and crockery etc. Definitely recommend this place if you’re visiting Amsterdam 🏕️

Great place to stay in Amsterdam. Easiest check in process I've ever had. Showers could have been warmer, or warm at all, but otherwise friendly people, good price, and not too far from town.

Excellent, cheapish campsite within a short tram ride of central Amsterdam... Great facilities, friendly staff. Somewhat tricky to find these days as the whole area has been massively developed.. That also means it's not as quiet as it used to be... But I still highly recommend it!

Fantastic little gem of a campsite. Amazing facilities and always kept clean. Staff are so helpful and always there to give a hand. The shop is lovely, has everything you would need. Easy access to Amsterdam. Short walk to the tram. Thank you for such a lovely stay.

Nice & clean camping site near the center of Amsterdam. However, not a single tree can be found on the tent area, so better learn to enjoy the sun. Also, the toilets were quite crowded, but I think this is just temporarily due to repairs. Bonus points for the duck waddling through the tent area.

Nice small campsite with inexpensive mobile homes. The place is a bit cumbersome to reach, but when you have found it, you immediately feel comfortable. The toilets and washing facilities are included in the price and always clean. We really liked it, although we are not campers.

Great campsite close to multiple trams to reach the centre of the city. Facilities are good. 2 blocks closed in winter. Water is very hot in the showers with no option to champ temperature. Good sized pitches. Shop onsite, open daily. Restaurant open during summer. We paid €80 for three nights in November.

Nice in theory, but it wasn’t quite what we expected. We read reviews saying “20 minutes to the center by bike or tram” however all the bikes were rented during our stay and anywhere we wanted to go to in the city took about 35-50 minutes from our campsite. We were placed in the far corner of the campsite, and it is about 8 minutes walk to the facilites, and another 10 to the tram. When you have to use the bathroom in the middle of the night 16 minutes there and back is quite excessive, they really need more facilities. The showers were never warm but that was fine on a warm day, but something to be aware of during the high season. Still,a good price and a very cozy campsite with a nice store and restaurant and reasonable price for being relatively close to the city.

We didn't see the place at it's best given it was in January, but everything is clean, showers and toilets fine. Very efficient booking on line albeit they don't offer Visa or Mastercard as payment options. Ten minutes walk from the Flavoparc tram stop ... no 14 is direct to Rembrandstplein, the 3 to the Heineken Experience and Blue Boats jetty.

Spotless site! Plenty of showers, toilets, wash areas given the size of the site. Well maintained ground, great bar area, and shop was more than adequate. Fridges for campers were a great addition for us as we didn’t have a fridge in our van. Option of bike hire and purchasing public transport tickets from the shop was excellent! 12 minutes to the centre of Amsterdam!

Great camping! Very cheap but comfortable. The staff is really nice and helpful. They even sent my health insurance card to Spain when I forgot it there.

Colourful picturesque huts surrounded by greenery sitting right on a river bank. We absolutely loved our stay here. We cycled to Central Amsterdam every day, which took about 30 minutes (can be too far for some people but we really enjoyed the cycling). The room was quite plain but had everything you needed - storage space and two single beds. The staff were very friendly, although checkout was a little early (at 10 am). Breakfast was very delicious with a variety of options.

Camping Zeeburg in Amsterdam offers a unique and vibrant camping experience. Surrounded by nature, it provides a peaceful escape with excellent facilities. The city's attractions are easily accessible. A perfect blend of urban and outdoor adventure.

Stayed on this site in our campervan in November 2023. Fabulous facilities and very clean. Staff were so helpful with information and explaining travel options. Well stocked shop. The restaurant was closed so can’t comment on this. Transport into city centre was so easy, 15 min walk to tram and then 10 mins on the tram to Central Station. Nice local area too with lots of cafes and restaurants and shops.

not a great place for regular tourists, especially in the winter. You have to go back and forth a long and windy bridge in order to going to centraal station, public toilettes are too far from wagonettes for the winter. wagonettes were not so cozy, shakes like an earthquake if some one walk near by or even with a wind. staff were great and helpful. if you are going to wander around the city, location is really bad but i think its very relaxing on other occasions like camping for real.

Overall a great campsite! Nice views and friendly staff. The small "zoo" with 2 friendly goats is amazing! You can rent bikes and boats. The restaurant is also quite nice.

Very secure, clean and quiet! Staff was very helpful especially dealing with very jet lagged people. Loved the on site store with options to buy bread items made to order daily, transit tickets and staple items you will need to travel/camp. Has all of the amenities including an outdoor cooking station/hot plates, vending machines, and single person showers. Within walking distance to the tram to downtown Amsterdam. The only negative thing I could say is this was our first RVing experience in Europe and some of the other campers can be very rude-requiring quiet time before the park requires it and they take the zero emissions policy very serious.

I stayed on a houseboat down the street from this place. We would stop in and have a casual meal, a beer, or cup of coffee. There is a nice big coffee shop/restaurant that is big and open. It was a nice area to meet other travelers. The people running this place were really friendly. I am from San Diego and I would stay here the next time I visit Amsterdam. It is close to a tram that takes you right into Amsterdam. The distance to Amsterdam would be OK as a bike ride but too far to walk. They also have a nice market. I could periodically smell a somewhat familiar smell, but it never bothered me. I am a middle aged dude who visited with my wife and 21 year old son. It seemed like mostly a younger crowd, but enough folks like me, that I never felt out of place. Kudos to Camping Zeeburg-nice job-we'll be back!

A great location, easy to ride bikes or catch the tram into Amsterdam. A really good shop with fresh pastries and a restaurant on site. A very very clean site with clean toilet facilities. However, shower time is limited and the temperature is variable.

Very nice campground in a good location. Tram station is fairly close and you can get to the city center in under half an hour. They have a little shop there where you can get most essentials in case you don't feel like leaving, and there are plenty of (clean!) showers and toilets. Overall, a very good experience! We'll be back next time we're in Amsterdam.

An incredibly large, lively, busy place with awesome availability if showers and amenities. They obviously though of all they should have, as in summer, it’s so full. Not too noisy though, and a nice distance from the city, great to have a bike with you. Unfortunately the wifi didn’t work at all for us, too weak for any work.

Great strategic location to either explore the center of Amsterdam, enjoy the nature around or just relax on the Campsite itself with its little beachfront. Very clean sanitary facilities, relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff - perfect to pitch your tent for a week and just forget everyday life exists. The highway that goes over the bay is noticeable but the constant stream of vehicles has something meditative; the short way to the secondary facilities was maybe a bit too short ;)

Clean area with nice staff. Cheap and close to the centre of the city. A 15 walk to the closest tram station. They've got a nice little shop with all the necessities. Showers are a bit too hot without adjustability. Was met by a group of 4 ducks every morning, which was very nice.

I love this place, it’s clean, friendly and has all the facilities required for a great stay. It’s so easy to get into Amsterdam either by bike or public transport. You can even hire a kayak to have a paddle on the river. A must visit.

We had a very good stay (3 days) at the Zeeburg campsite! First of all, the welcome was impeccable. The staff were very friendly and found solutions for us: leave our car where we parked it because the parking lot was full, change our location so that we are closer to the water (remember to ask where you want to be placed when you make your reservation), ... There is an on-site restaurant with a large, warm terrace, and a menu to delight everyone. There is also the possibility of ordering a breakfast, and a small store whose prices are very correct (not a lot of choice but really cheap!). The toilets are clean, there is rarely a line. Showers are limited to 6 minutes and the toilet paper is very, very thin. The general atmosphere of the campsite (ping-pong tables, setting, catering, conviviality) was very good! I recommend and will be back!

A nice inexpensive place where you can stay a bit outside of town. The team is super nice. You can find a mini-market, a restaurant and of course a bicycle rental service. I recommend !

Great location, 20-25 min bike ride to the centre. Visited in November, site was still busy with campers, lots of facilities & all kept very clean, good shop and restaurant on site.

The place to stay in Amsterdam! Lovely staff, beautiful views and a clean facility and a 15min walk to transportation via the train into the city centre. Stayed a week and loved it.

Incredibly awesome place! We stayed here in winter but are definitely going back in summer! Super convenient location (if it’s more than 3 of you, I would recommend using taxi to the city instead of public transport as most of the times it will be cheaper), rooms are very well heated, beds are comfortable, view is amazing and staff is suuuper welcoming and friendly!! Highly recommend!

A good experience, was time with friends and enjoyed the city. Really close to the tram station - just 7-10 min walking, between the park and thru a bridge in the canals. Attention was good, and a reminder you can ask for pan and cooking utilities.

Nice reception with good bathrooms and an open air kitchen. You can rent bikes to a good price. A bit crowded for the off season. Car spots are not so big.

Second stay here. Still love the place. Facilities always clean, grounds well kept. Food in restaurant was amazing! Staff are always friendly and helpful. Highly recommend. This is the only place we will stay now in Amsterdam
