I have to start with the service that was super super good. The staff are very helpful, informative about the menu and always smiling. The food was creatively good, new tastes and twists done to main dishes. The presentation is very good as well. Desserts was super as well. They have a very good selection of drinks, and it’s a definitely go try if you’re in the hub of Jordaan

One of the top-5 meals I've eaten in Europe. Not simply one dish, but a few dishes were outstanding and left me wanting more. Beautiful decor, a bit warm but it was warm outside. The seats aren't the most comfortable for me since they seem shorter, but my friend was fine. This place has been here a long time, I never thought about going since it's in the middle of a very touristy area. Get a reservation, restaurant is not cramped with tables so it's a nice, civilized meal. Great wine list too! Don't forget the prosecco to start things off. I loved it. I can't wait to go back.

Excellent Italian restaurant. I have been for lunch twice in the last few weeks. Delicious freshly baked bread, salads and freshly made filled pasta. The waiter selected excellent wines to match our dishes and the service was very good. Looking forward to my next visit.

Excellent restaurant at a beautiful spot. We eat at the first floor. The menu was perfect and delicious. Every dish looked amazing. Staff is professional and friendly. They have a large selection of really good wines. Highly recommended.

Very good 5 course tasting menu for a very reasonable price in Amsterdam (65pp). All the dishes were very tasty but with special mention to the pumpkin ravioli and the roasted Guinea fowl. Desert was also delicious. Wine tasting had 5 italian whites that matched the menu perfectly. Highly recommended

We eat out all the time and this was without a doubt the top 2 we have ever had. Got the tasting with the wine pairing and it was excellent. The service was right on as well.

We had dinner at this restaurant. The atmosphere and the decoration is great and all the waiters really polite and friendly. We had the 5 dishes menu each, and when we asked to change one of the courses with another one from the a la carte menu they informed us that this of course was possible with a slight extra charge as the course we requested was more expensive than the one we replaced. All dishes were really well decorated and the waiters explained all the flavours and ingredients when they presented the dishes to us. I have to say that each one was better than the previous with the desert being the perfect end. The list of wines is also great and with a good variety. The Italian white wine was great. Definitely recommending this restaurant.

Very good high-end italian cuisine. Impressive wine list. The food is worthy of a one-star Michelin.

small restaurant with low ceiling. we had a big gangs of 20 + people and the noise reverberation made conversation impossible. otherwise standard modern western with wine list made up mostly from casual daily wines.

It was an amazing experience. We went with 5 course meal. Staff was really professional and know what they were serving. The taste was extraordinary. We ate the cod fish, risotto, beetroot, quail and the desert. Everything was awesome really from start to finish. I would definitely recommend their own recipe of gin tonic. Price and quality matched for me. We would definitely go back again.

Enjoyed their crispy bacon and ricotta sandwich. Fresh, juicy and original flavours. Appreciated their suggestion to wait outside while they made my order.

Exceptionally good pastries from the little pastry counter. The almond croissant was fantastic and the Dulce de Leche pastry had crunchy almonds on top, a custard center and flaky croissant dough perfection - what more could you want!?

One of my favorite places in Amsterdam! This place has great coffee, pastries, sandwiches, pastas, and dinner. Very simple and chic setting which paired great with my lobster pasta (which included lobster bisque — it was so good!!).

We were just passing by in the morning and the place seemed to be nice, so we decided to grab a quick breakfast of coffee and pastries. The pastry I took was simply amazing! I will definitely go back there again.

Great place for a Sunday brunch! The pasta is amazing! I had the struffle spaghetti and my friend had the lasagna and both were delicious. One thing to note is that the pasta is served only between 12-14:30 and after that it's only sandwiches. They give you complimentary sourdough bread along with your dish. I can definitely also reccomend the almond croissant as a dessert!

Pizza is super crunchy and crispy , pasta tastes good, but the tiramisu and the vanilla ice cream are totally recommended. It’s a little bit pricey tho compared to the food portions and quality, but staffs are lovely.

This is a retrospective post from when I visited Bussia on a work trip to NL in Sept 2020 (when air travel had been resumed for a short while) A really lovely meal out with friends. As a table of four we opted to go with the 4 course menu as that was more than sufficient to taste their menu as well as feed our hungry bellies! I ordered the fish as a main and it was utterly delicious! Great portion, tasty and very well presented. I only managed to get a photo of my main and my dessert (too busy chatting and enjoying the evening!) but all in all the service was prompt and professional, the food was very good and I thought the pricing for a 4 course at just over 50 euros per person (not including wine) was very reasonable. I saw that they also have an in-house bakery that I intend on checking out when I can head back to NL in the near future.

Had a great 5 course tasting menu. Also tried the wine tasting to pair with it and highly recommend doing that as well, but would suggest doing the half glasses unless you really love wine. Tiramisu and risotto was to die for!!

I was very excited to go here and reserved almost a month in advance. The food was disappointing. It was tasteless and far from an Italian cuisine. The design of the plates is nice but the taste is a big disappointment. However the staff are very friendly and they make sure you are having a nice time.

Had an unplanned dinner at Bussia and it was amazing. We were there at 6ish and was lucky to have a table without a reservation. We were served by a lady who was very friendly. Iced flat white was perfect. The appetiser had very balanced flavors. The lobster sphagettini was so delicious and the strawberry granita had so many interesting elements in it. Hence we made a reservation for a repeat visit. Our 2nd visit was on a Saturday. We ordered ice latte without sugar but the order was probably lost in translation as we received iced coffee which was too sweet and had too much milk. The mains and the tiramisu (which almost didn't arrive) were great. When we were done, we had some difficulty getting the bill as the staff was busy. All in all, Bussia is a great restaurant dishing out some really good food, but perhaps go there when you have ample time and preferably on a weekday for better service. Thank you for the food! It was one of the highlights of our trip :)

The staff were very nice. Unfortunately it was a bit slow overall and I found the food not as good as I would’ve liked (but still quite good, hence the 4 stars). The pasta for instance had way too much butter. The olive oil and home made bread were amazing. The wine was good, and the atmosphere was nice and cozy.

They have a great Italian wine selection and are very capable to help you choose a pairing. I loved my raspberry dessert. Definitely get the lobster pasta and enjoy their delicious bread. The seafood pasta was better than The DUCHESS. 🤫

Amazing lunch spot to stop after walking canals, or after a visit to Anne Frank house. Delicious pastries, pasta and bread. Affogato with homemade vanilla bean ice cream was the best!

Bussia has an absolutely stunning venue - I love the layout of this restaurant with its mezzanine style upper floor. We had the Menu Degustazione accompanied with the wine pairing. Each dish was delicious with the wine well selected to match. The service was outstanding and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

This place is amazing. The service, the food, the atmosphere, it's just amazing. This was my second time here, first time we came here as part of a work dinner with some colleagues and we tried the 5 course meal. It was very good but this time, my wife and I ordered a la carte, and it was fantastic. The fish is unbelievable. I am not a fish person and I kind of took a chance but boy was I in for a big amazing surprise. Simply magnificent. And my wife ordered the Spaghetti with lobster, which was also unbelievably tasty. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. It's not a cheap restaurant but it's worth every cent, and then some. We were served by a super nice Canadian lady who knew her stuff. It's been such a refreshing experience being taken care of in the proper way in Amsterdam. My complements to the chef and kitchen crew as well as the staff. You folks are running a solid restaurant. We will definitely go back, maybe for lunch next time.

This place lives up to the hype! Grab a reservation and come during the limited homemade pasta window. Friendly service and amazing food.

3-course menu is great. But to be honest, the sourdough bread was better than every single item in the menu.

Quality food but not the best place to visit with 3 years old. Eat dinner there and food was nice. Bit over priced place.

On our recent trip to Europe we ate at several Michelin-star restaurants and lots of other really good restaurants and this was by FAR our favorite meal. We did the prix fixe menu. Our server was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and the wine and he had a contagious enthusiasm for the flavors that enhanced our enjoyment. The food itself was out of this world. Every dish was perfect. The atmosphere was open and bright yet intimate. We had a wonderful experience and will go here again in a heartbeat.

Very good Italian restaurant in the city center of Amsterdam. Great ambience, service on point, just the right music level to allow good discussions without feeling the need to shout. Spaghetti with lobster was delicious, highly expensive. Value for money is not there when it comes to the wines, be careful!

The pizza with aubergine and zucchini was great, the pizza dough was in a different level one of the best I have ever tasted and the crispy bacon sandwich was a delight.

One of my favourite restaurants in Amsterdam! Lovely service, great ambiance and delicious food! We always opt for the 5 courses and it never disappoints and they are also very accomodating to my dairy allergy. Highly recommended!

We were there a couple of times but we are not satisfied with the quality of food. Nothing special with prices above the average. Plus throughout lunch time you have to wait for your meal a bit longer.
