Incredible food. Very satisfying. We had the tasting menu, which was a really great value. A little taste of everything if you aren't sure what to order. Despite being just small plates, it was very generous portions overall. Excellent service too. The gentleman who was serving (I think the owner), asks for your name when you come in, but ACTUALLY remembers everyone's name in the entire restaurant the whole time you're dining! We also dropped a bottle on the floor and it broke and glass went everywhere. He was so nice about it and didn't make me feel bad. Super nice service. Highly recommend this restaurant if you aren't sure where to eat in the area.

Such good food and the best service! The waitstaff called us by our names with each check in and made us feel so at home. We ordered the pay-per-person platter for three and there wasn’t a single dish we didn’t like. Highly recommend the chick sate!

A unique Dutch Indonesian experience. You can choose other entrées, but the thing to have is the set meal, you can choose vegetarian or non-vegetarian and all other choices are made for you. In our set we got a few chicken dishes, couple with vegetables, and one beef dish. It also came with steamed and fried rice. The food was well prepared, the flavors were a little muted likely to adjust to the Dutch pallet. For the vegetarian we got the Gado Gado salad, it was excellent. Jerry is a great host, providing great service.

What was really impressive was the owner, Jerry, remembered everyone’s name!!! It was a one man show. He took our order, sat us at the table and served the food. Throughout the meal, he checked on us and called us by name. The food was good but the service was what made it memorable.

very nice place, opens few hours a day, and closed on Wednesdays. you will be greeted by the chef’s husband, with attention and professionalism. He takes your order, shows your table, wait on you and brings you the check at the end. The food was excellent, the table and the place were very clean, the service was quick, and the atmosphere is pleasant. the only thing that I could suggest is to hire someone to help, because it can take some time for one person to do all of that, like bringing the check while trying to take orders and seating new comers. oh and Jerry who is running the show remembers your name and has a delightful attitude all the time. would highly recommend this place while in Amsterdam.

As an Indonesian, I would say this place by far is the best Indonesian restaurant in Amsterdam! We ordered rijsttafel and it was amazing. The seasoning for every dish that came out, was exactly the same as what we have back home, so authentic! Glad to found this place. We took our family from Germany and they loved it. Can’t wait to visit again in the near future. Jerry, you’re a star! Thanks for the most welcoming atmosphere. God bless :)

Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Helped me choose a good introductory dish into Indonesian cuisine. The food was delicious. Definitely will go back in the future and try the thing where you get lots of little dishes and you share as a group. Nasi Campur is what I got, plus some savory cakes, and a half order of Lodeh.

I had the Rice Table Aneka and it was delicious. I never knew green beans could taste so good - those are the first I've ever actually enjoyed!

We were on a week long river cruise up the Rhine river and our Indonesian waitress on the boat say this is her favorite restaurant in Amsterdam. After missing Asian food for over a week, this restaurant was perfect for our group, the staff was friendly and helpful and the food was spot on. or was it just our Asian food withdrawal for us ;-)

Really enjoyed the dinner here and I would definitely come back here again when I come back to Amsterdam! We were a bit worried about the beef in coriander sauce as me and my mother don't like the taste of coriander but Jerry assured us that you can't taste it and he was absolutely right! You have to wait a while (about 20minutes) but it's worth it. The atmosphere is very chill and relaxed and there is no rush to leave 😊

We had a wonderful dinner at Aneka Rasa! Everything was amazing, from the service to the delicious authentic tasting Indonesian food and cozy atmosphere. We would highly recommend the rijsttafel if visiting with larger groups to try a bit of everything on the menu. Special thanks to Jerry who made the experience extra enjoyable!

As an Indonesian who's been living abroad for a long time, we really enjoyed the food there. Really delicious and authentic Indonesian food and such a friendly service. The "ayam penyet" with the sambal was so tasty! Unfortunately we can't make a reservation beforehand, so sometimes you have to wait a bit. Still definitely recommended though!

We had a great time at this Indonesian Restaurant. We had pempek kapal salam (fish cake), ayam penyet (fried crispy chicken), rendang padang (slow cooked beef in spicy rich marinade), kue lapis (spekkoek, sweet cake) and lumpia. All dishes tasted really good and had an authentic indonesian rich taste. Let's just say it made my Indonesian wife very happy. The host, Jerry was wonderful and welcoming. When you come inside your are welcomed by Jerry and he will explain the rules of the house. Order first and then get seated. To me this concept works well. All in all we will certainly come back and We can reccomend it to anyone that is into the authentic Indonesian kitchen or anyone who is curious about it.

Absolutely delighted! Jerry was one of the most friendly and welcoming hosts I’ve ever met. The food was amazing and we all ate every bite. 6 stars, will definitely be coming back next time I’m in Amsterdam.

We had heard about the family-style Indonesian cuisine in Amsterdam so had to check it out. The owner, Jerry, just added to the experience! The variety of food was filling and delicious. I can’t wait to come back some day! Check it out.

We spent a lovely diner here. Jerry was very kind and considerate. The food was delicious, served in a short time and not expensive. It is a must try when look for an Indonesian restaurant in Amsterdam. We’ll definitely return in the future 😊.

My favourite dining experience in Amsterdam. It was very personal and can I say the food was incredible. If you haven't been, you're missing out.

Jerry and his wife are absolutely fabulous. They asked all our names (even the kids) and referred to us by them for our whole visit. They were kind and friendly and the food was amazing. Best chicken satay we've ever had. If we come back to Amsterdam, we won't be leaving without another meal here.

The food was great, lots of variety and quite tasty. The staff was a bit strange tbh, making odd jokes (eg. accusing customers of stealing tableware). Many people were turned away once the place filled up, so best to get there early (or close to closing, because their hours aren't accurate at all). Quite pricey, but I was happy with the food :)

Indonesian restaurant in the Nieuw Market area. Jerry is a very friendly guy. He will ask your name and will not forget no matter how busy the restaurant is. The "must" at the house is the Rijsttafel with two different options. A degustation of several Indonesian specialities (in little portions) for the hole table. (21,5€ per person) You can try Bintang bear and remember your holiday in Bali. It's worth the price.

Came from California with my friends and I to the Netherlands, and the hospitality from the jump was amazing he immediately welcomed us and offered tea and even remembered my 3 other friends name who came a week earlier! The food is amazing 10/10 I ordered the noodles with fried shrimp and another order of beef and it was amazing! Thank you very much again Gary!!!!

Great food and customer service. It’s located so close to the Amsterdam Centraal Station so we had our last lunch there in Amsterdam before taking the train back home. Their Ayam Kremes & Ayam Woku tasted authentic. We only wished that they opened earlier so we could have an early lunch 😁

Excellent food in the heart of Amsterdam, incredible friendly staff that calls you by your name; cool and soft ambience. Super tasty food, the kind of food you know it's made with a lot of effort and kindness.

Very nice owners, so polite and friendly. Even made the effort to ask us for our names and remembered them. This was our 1st experience with the Indonesian Cuisine. It wss a very positive one, it tasted very well. Price was very good, i paid for drinks and food around 20€. Will definitely return once I visit Amsterdam again.

A highlight of our trip to Amsterdam. We happened to chance upon the restaurant for lunch and I'm glad that we did. The food was excellent, and the service and ambience was fantastic. As a cherry on top, Jerry was extremely kind and remembered our names, which added a personal touch to the experience. Would highly recommend to all that want some delicious food!

The BEST food I've had in Amsterdam. Jerry, the owner, treats you like you're family. 🥹🫶 Chill atmosphere, super quick service, and the meals are just delicious. If you're into Indonesian food, this is a compulsory stop in Amsterdam, and if you're not, stop by anyways, Jerry will change your mind! Will definitely come back the next time I'm in the Netherlands!
