🫤 Too many people in a small room. You have to push away somebody while they are in zenmode to go to the bathroom and you have to sit really really close to each other. On the bright side, what better way to practice becoming zen?! People often mention yoga, studio, teachers, classes, class, nice, good,

Very nice little yoga studio with two small rooms. Their teachers are all very nice but there are two downsides. The classes are really packed with 25 people in a 15m room, so sometimes we cannot do poses or really have to move to accommodate everyone. Second, the studio is based on an intersection of two busy roads, 2 tramlines and 2 buses so unfortunately it’s quite loud which makes it hard to relax. Overall, very nice local yoga studio with limited variety but good quality of classes and good value for money.

Unfortunately, my first visit to the studio was the worst and last. These people have no phone to reach out to them in case of urgency or questions. Also they do not respond to the emails. In my case, I had to reach the studio by bus because it is far from my home, and my bus was delayed for 25minutes, as a result I reached to studio delayed for 5 minutes. And they didn't allow me to enter. Such a disappointing experience, especially when you were looking forward to have your first class there. If you are not walking distance, I don't recommend this studio.

I'm new at yoga. I've done two sessions here and two sessions at Equal yoga across the road. They're super different: Equal is modern and sleek, the room has been designed well, up to the markings on the floor to show the mat (each corner is marked and clearer in my opinion); Yagoy is the opposite for me, it's in an older building, the rooms have been designed around it, it's less sleek and modern, more homey vibes. I prefer the look of Equal, which I imagine is clear so far, but I prefer Yagoy for everything else. The teachers create such a safe feeling in the room, they are so good at giving additional small options per position, they inject humour, cosiness and comfort. The class sizes are also much smaller so it feels intimate and less scary as a newbie. I also love that they have clear descriptions of the classes on the site and which ones are beginner, intermediate, etc. I will return to both as I continue my journey into yoga, but I will for sure spend most of my time at Yagoy. Thanks so much for creating this space of safety and growth.

I've taken some of my most exhilarating yoga classes here (Sweat & Flow and Energize & flow), and I'm happy that the teachers really propose more challenging poses and sequences, with great guidance too! However, this is a very small yoga studio. Though both classes I've taken are wonderful and I keep them on my rotation, there hasn't been a time that it does not feel stuffy and cramped - or that I haven't been able to not worry about shoving my foot in someone else's personal space. If you want a great class with challenging sequences, and are able to get over the fact that it feels a bit like being in a tin of sardines, definitely go. If that's a dealbreaker, then there are plenty of other airy yoga studios that might suit your needs better.

When recommended to try yoga by a friend I was skeptical, but after trying it at yagoy I'm definitely going back. The perfect mixture of fun, relaxing and challenging.

This studio is really cozy, you feel at home as soon as you enter! The quality of the teachers is also really good since there is more senior teachers presence within their teaching crew. Love the place and I will recommend it 100%

The place is extremely cold for a slow yoga class. I had one of the worst experiences in Amsterdam.

I love you guys! Especially since I am allowed to relax on the sofa with a cup of tea when I come a bit too early to class. Thanks for always being so understanding, respectful, clean, and open-minded.

Lovely energy and teachers. Very homey and enough space for everyone. It used to be really cramped but now they decreased capacity and it is way more boutique👌

Good mix of upbeat yoga, friendly staff, and a decent price. Felt very much at home relaxing in the chilled lounge after class too. Would definitely recommend!

Would highly recommend Yagoy. Such a lovely place, friendly staff, great classes and very good teachers! I am definitely going back for more, even though it is a bit far from where i live. By far the best yoga studio I have tried in Amsterdam and I just love the fact that I can relax with a cup of tea after class in their lounge
