Tickets are very cheap and staff was very friendly and helpful. The museum is more or less a glass building with a beautiful view of the river. The exhibitions at the time (Feb 2023) was interesting and gleaned into how architecture reflects its environment including politics, social economic backgrounds etc. These aspects making up architecture, or how the author perceives it, is turned into games! Quite eye-opening, and self-evident at times

Pavillon of great design, with beautiful views on old Amsterdam, Nemo And Maritime Museum buildings. I visited the Games exhibition, which was presented in a comprehensive way, focusing on how architectonical games feature socio-economic context. Helpful and cheerful staff. Small shop offers archimaps, magazines and books.

The built environments and games are often compromised of cliché tropes. What does a game allow you to do? Which types of buildings are considered undesirable and what kind of built environments does that result in? This exhibit shows and artwork: critical blocks " he artist wanted to understand why he was so fascinated by his grandfather scale models as a child he kept finding romanticized mountain villages with quaint farms so he deliberately sought the opposite buildings embodening contentious social issues he settled on a nuclear plant Omega farm and a high-rise apartment building separated by the Highways the structures needed to be elegant and not too daunting"

People with architectural background shouldn’t skip this place. Besides the cool building, there’s a free exhibition about innovation and history related to architecture. The view is pretty cool from here too. The restrooms are also very clean.

Small and interesting exhibition on their topics. But as an Architecture Centre, the architects of this building really need to consider passive design and climate control. I visited this place during the heat wave it’s 32 degrees outside, the interior is also roasted, the AC is not efficient. Not a good example of sustainable architecture.

Very small but it was interesting to learn a little bit more about the architecture in Amsterdam.

Very nice building, it has physical models representing actual buildings in Amsterdam, most of them are only made of wood, or paper! Very simple models, yet very neat and professional. As an architect I found it really interesting and I totally recommend it to architecture students.

Very nice little exhibition if you are interested in architecture or recent and future urban planning decisions in Amsterdam and surrounds. Also a good guide to some pioneering projects to visit around the city.

If you like architecture and / or urban planning, this is the place to go! A place to visit and learn about the history of development in Amsterdam and discuss possible futures! The views from the place are also beautiful!

Disappointing. Thought we would have an experience about Amsterdam architecture or tendencies. We only found an empty exhibition. Pass your way

Superb exhibitions, and a very helpful member of staff was on hand to explain things. Great value for money, especially if you are interested in architecture and Amsterdam urban planning!

Small museum, you can see everything in less than 2 hours. Not everything is subbed/translated in English, but most of it is.

Small museum but incredibly interesting, in a good location very close to Het Scheepvaart and the Nemo. Love the little architecture models.

Superb, should've a bigger sign. I'm a big architecture fan. Lucky I went in, literally on the very last day there.

Very unique small architecture pavilion with great views of the waterways. The place has rotating architecture exhibits and serves as an information center for tours and notable sites. Friendly staff and enjoyable visit.

The center has got an architecture lecture and tour every Friday, which covers the whole history of Amsterdam housing very thoroughly. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly and the tour was eye opening. I highly recommend it to anyone who's got an interest in architecture.
