Stayed 5 nights, couldn't wait to get out of the place. All staff in their 20's , made little attempt to develop rapport with guests (we stayed 5 nights). Only provide "welcome pack" of tea bags, first night, expected to purchase more from hotel shop. No milk provided. Used cups not replaced, rubbish not taken away. No fridge. No easy transport into city. It seems green creditionials come with reduced services to guests included promoted plant a tree if you opt out of room servicing. Seems like environmental creditionals more for reducing costs. Minimal storage in room, no cupboards or draws just one tiny hanging rack May suite some but not for those travelling around Europe

We stayed here on a 5 day vacation in Amsterdam. It’s about a 10-15 minute drive to where the main attractions are. The staff are nice. It’s definitely a cheaper, younger, maybe back-packer type of hotel. It’s clean and safe, but it’s just a little bare and basic.

I really enjoyed enjoyed staying here. The rooms are cozy, quiet, spacious and comfortable. I love the organic concept and the location, set back in the lovely park among and within beautiful historic buildings. You can see live concerts during the summer, take a stroll outside in the park, visit the Klimt exhibit or have a nice meal or high tea in one of the nearby restaurants. I also enjoyed the convenience of the small store selling beverages and other items 24-7. Coffee and cappuccino here for breakfast was also excellent. Generally everyone was very friendly working here and I felt very safe and secure the whole time. It’s a convenient walk to many places or you can easily take the tram or Uber.

Self check in is annoying. Why are there people standing around and I have to check myself in. No cash is annoying. Not everyone like using cards. Breakfast was pretty basic. Rooms were nice but basic. A wardrobe would be nice. TV was rubbish.

What a special experience! Hotel in the park, wake up to see birds in the pond, runners and bikers and walkers with their kids. A beautiful location! Bakery right across with outdoor seating, delicious croissants and pastries. We asked for a quiet room in the back and it was SILENT. You couldn't hear a thing. It is located right near an outdoor concert park and we got to see/hear the opening classical concert of the season. Free! Hundreds of people, it was wonderfully fun. The sound did not carry over to the hotel, so no problem. Morning coffee hour till 9am - just 2 euro for a delicious cappuccino. Walking distance to Jordaan area, the Eye film museum, Centraal station and so much more. Bikes to rent. Highly recommend this hotel! It is a great place!

Lovely hotel, based in the grounds of the park. About 25 mins walk from the station, in a quieter more residential area. There are plenty of restaurants around, and shops to buy foods for a picnic in the park. Families with children would love the paddling pool area in the park. The hotel strives itself on being environmentally friendly, and we loved the way they had reused items that would otherwise have gone into landfill. The rooms were basic, but practical, the bed and pillows were very comfortable, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend if you want a stay away from the noise of the centre, and don't mind walking. Would definitely use again on our next visit.

A beautiful building with wide hallways and wheelchair access. The rooms are minimalistic and spacious with great views across the park. The location is very convenient to take a bus to either Sloterdijk or Amsterdam Central Station. The gentleman at reception was not very helpful, and "check-in" was done on a computer at the entrance. You have to program your own key card for your room, and a valid credit card is required for this process. Overall, it was a nice hotel with a great location, but staff could be more helpful.

Room was as described. Great location. Close to everything and the tram. Restaurants and grocery stores were close by. Room wasn’t ready at 3 pm. Took another 45 min for the room to get ready. Usually it’s fine but after a long flight from the US, you just want to lay down and relax instead of waiting around the lobby. Bed and pillows weren’t comfortable. Bed too firm and pillow was too soft. But that is just a personal preference. It was hard for me to get comfy to sleep. Shower was excellent, great pressure! Will prob seek another hotel next time.

The rain kept pouring from the sky. Not a good place to be in a loft. Hardly had any sleep as the noise was heavy. Although I understand that people want to be looking after nature, but making the bar completely vegetarian is not my thing.

I liked the design and layout of the property. The restaurant attached is really good also. Staff was friendly. Everything was clean. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. I liked their bikes they rented out also. Park nearby is nice and quiet. Only thing is the hotel is slightly on the outskirt of the main part of the city but totally bikeable and walkable anyways.

Really nice hotel, friendly staff, location was okay but a little far. The room was really nice but it was kind of cold and the thermostat just kept resetting itself. Cold floors after shower weren't the best. The security system is really good and also the coffee place at the entrance is super convenient with a great variety: coffee, teas, matcha, etc.

My first time ever leaving a review because I hope to stop people from getting scammed by this hotel. I purchased a hot chocolate from the reception, which should’ve came to €3.30 but I checked my phone and noticed I was charged €8.70 for it. I went back to the man and told him he over charged me. He told me I bought a hot chocolate and 2 bottles of water . I told him I only got hot chocolate and he insisted there was 2 bottles of water at the counter. He eventually agreed to give me a refund . He told me to tap for my refund so I did . It’s been 4 days now and still no sign of money refunded . Just looking through the reviews it looks like this isn’t the first time the hotel has tried to scam people. Apart from that the restaurant had terrible service . It was very empty the day we went and we still had to wait ages to be served . When my food arrived only the tofu was warm. The rest of the food was stone cold .

Great location, super friendly staff! Make sure to rent the bikes. It's an easy location to either head into the heart of Amsterdam or take a lovely ride to Zaanse Schanz. Rooms are gorgeous and the hotel is in a beautiful park setting surrounded by residential areas with small cafes and restaurants.

Upgrade: my complaint was handled sufficiently and I could move into another room. I found a kind letter from the management hence this becomes a three star rating. Original rating: The next location to park your car is almost a kilometer away and expensive. A grumpy porter at the park entrance wouldn‘t let me in to drop off my heavy luggage. Check in procedure is time consuming because it is digitalized completely. A room without a proper view for 165 Euros per night and without a closet to leave your clothing is simply inacceptable. No food after 21:30 in the restaurant. NO. I would not book this place again.

You charged me 96 EUR by "mistake". I never got them back. I spent three nights in the hotel and loved it, but I feel compelled to write a public review because no one from the reception seems willing to resolve the situation. Since we did an early checkout, there are some extra taxes to pay, including city taxes, totaling 27 EUR. During the stay, we figured out that we were already charged 96 EUR. The people from reception told us that it was an error, but they would fix it once we checked out. The checkout day came, and guess what? A few hours later, we were charged another payment of 27 EUR (plus the 96 EUR). I emailed the hotel; they say they will 'fix the error.' One month later, I still haven't received the 96 EUR...

Hotel is so stark as to be cold. Walls made of paper - could hear every word of conversation in the next room. Nearest parking 1/2 mile away. Shower soaked the ENTIRE bathroom and staff casually offered us breakfast as compensation for all our things being soaked. Beds were hard. A lot of shady looking folks lurking about. On the plus side, night service was good (we checked in late) and it was clean. Otherwise, expensive and not worth it.

That place is become my work place and before that I never felt that much happier myself. Thanks for all team. Ps; don't hesitate to visit that place! It's amazing, atmosphere is very friendly not far from your home feeling.

Stayed here for 3 nights in Amsterdam. The hotel is very no frills for the price point (over priced). Pros: - Comfortable bed - Good water shower and temperature - Nice staff - Inside a nice park Cons: - No mini fridge in room - Room amenities like coffee are not restocked - Not close to any main attractions so you either have to walk 2+ miles or take transit (nearby transit is 5-10 minute walk) - Expensive for what you get

Really nice hotel, we got a double room with big windows views of the park. The building kept its ornamental structure in the outside and has a modern style in the inside. Surrendered by Westerpark and within walking distance to the city centre. Very kind staff.

We had a three-night mid-week stay at the Westerpark hotel, an impressive building located in the park, with decent restaurants within walking distance. The room was nice, clean and comfortable. However, we couldn't get to sleep on the Thursday night due to the volume of the music and people at the night club opposite. The hotel apparently has an agreement with the club regarding noise levels but it was too loud for us. The staff were helpful and moved us to another room at the back of the hotel that night, where we couldn't hear the club, but it was quite an annoyance. Otherwise, a lovely stay.

Nice location and easy to get a bus or tram into central Amsterdam. Lovely building and good vibes. Rooms were nice, very basic but the bed and showers were great! It was a bit noisy at night time but that’s not much the hotel can do about it.

The service was extremely slow, the waiters seemed more interested in playing on their phones and ignoring customers than serving us. 25 mins for a menu then not all of the food came, waiting a long time to get hold of the server by then we had already finished our food. The food was fine but the service was awful and has made us decide not to return.

Super nice hotel with modern design. We had to leave early in the morning and the staff kindly prepared us a breakfast box ready to take with and a nice coffee with that from the reception. Clean, friendly and fuss free.

The hotel bar and restaurant is open to non residents as is the terrace outside. I’ve had coffee and cake and it lunch here several times. Service is friendly and there seem to be plenty of staff, but it’s typically (Amsterdam) inefficient. You get coffee they are out of biscuits, If it’s busy, tables pile up with dirty plates and empty glasses. So does the meet and greet desk! Staff seem to work hard but chaotically (no busboys) occasionally you see a waiter trying to collect and hold three or four empty bottles and a couple of plates - just get the bowl tray for heavens sake and the whole area could be cleaned in two trips. Food is pretty good, and the place has a great atmosphere. Good for lunch or cocktails. I haven’t tried it for dinner and am not inclined to.

The staff are patient, understanding, friendly and helpful. The location could not be better. Outside the noise and chaos of the town center, but still only a ten minute bike ride from it. The rooms are clean and spacious with nice views of the park. I could not have been happier. This is now our first choice when visiting Amsterdam.
